Installed new gutters on one section of our cottage and gutter flashing on another section of gutters. Repaired flashing on areas of our roof and replaced some shingles that had blown away. Ryan Conary inserted a liner in the chimney. Ryan and his assistant were very professional and knowledgeable and have experience. They were able to inspect the chimney, determine corrective action and implement it. They had the proper tools, ladders and completed the chimney liner in good time. I'm a retired power plant operator and Merchant Marine. These guys have work ethic and know what their doing. Their professional and courteous. Highly recommended.

Chimney cleaning originally scheduled for May 6 from 11:30 to 1:30, we rearranged our entire day to accomodate. No one came, no one called, I called you at 1:30 no one answered. I was big time ticked off and we left the house at about 1:50. Yesterday's rescheduled appointment went fine.

Friendly, efficient. But it was good I was here as they assumed that chimney flashing to be fixed was the one coming out of my utility/furnace room at the west end of the house rather than the woodstove chimney that was in the middle of the house. If I had not been here I believe they would have done the wrong one.

So far this is the best professional experience I have had with a business. When I called the office, their staff were very friendly and set up a consult. I received an email reminder and a text reminding me of the appointment and a picture of the technician coming out to inspect our chimney and his ETA. The technician Payton inspected the chimney took pictures of the area of concerns and explained how he could fix our problem. He was super informative and explained the process. Work completed and could not be happier. Communication, kindness and professional.

This Maine company has a spirit of excellence. Most Maine companies/businesses have a "Good-a-nuff" attitude or work performance, charge you "out of state" prices, then expect a tip. But not Hancock Chimney and Home Services. If you want excellent quality work for a fair price, call them.
