The best cabinet installers in hampton roads! They also rock at pretty much anything else you would need a contractor for including flooring. I highly recommend HRCS!

We have done many projects with HRCS. In June we did multiple jobs and they were both done in quick time frame. Their employees are always polite and respectful on job sites. The installers produce quality work and are reasonably priced as well. I have worked with the company for two years now, and I have enjoyed working with them ever since the beginning.

I thought I was going to write a great review about this company based on everyone’s experiences I read about before we asked for estimates. The appointment went well around 5/13/24. They were taking pictures and measuring everything. I sent inspiration photos. I was told they couldn’t start any jobs until the end of July. No problem. We just needed estimates to figure out the cost of what they could do. It’s 6/23. Never heard from them again. What I don’t like is my time wasted. I rather you not come or simply tell me upfront you aren’t able to do anything. Reliability and great contractors have become a thing of the past lately.

Where do I start??? Wayne come in took some measurements asked a few questions and boom!! Two guys came in and a little bracket here a little anchor here and Ihad my closet!!!! Professional and yet felt like a family oriented. Thank you!!!!

What a great group to work with. HRCS installed new cabinets and trim work in three rooms. They were very meticulous and professional. They treated our home with the utmost respect. They did an outstanding job and we were very pleased. We have been through many contractors this year in our home renovations, and this is one we will call back. Thank-you Wayne, Matt and Chris.

Suffered water damage to our kitchen. The personnel who responded to repair and replace flooring, walls and storing were absolutely wonderful. They did an awesome job correcting our kitchen cabinets to level them for new countertops. We were concerned that due to the severity of the unlevel counter that it would be a costly fix. They gave us a clear "prognosis" of what they expected to happen and what could potentially go wrong and let us make a decision without pressure. They did the entire job, including having to dismantle the custom counter tops and rebuild them quickly and professionally. Best contractor we've ever used.

Wayne and his crew were hands down the best experience I had with getting work done on the house. I got my tub ripped, plumbing moved to the other end, and the drywall fixed. They were timely and professional. Wayne made sure things were done in a timely manner and communicated with me and my wife regularly to to make sure I was in the loop and even after to make sure things were still going well after the project. Highly recommend!!

Our experience with Wayne, Matt and Chris of Hampton Roads Contracting Services was outstanding. They went over and above our expectations in neatly removing our Old dated kitchen cabinets, installing new ones, Hooking up our new sink faucet, rebuilding the plumbing, putting in a disposal reattaching our dishwasher and doing an excellent job on all the trim work around our kitchen. It totally transformed our kitchen!
Because we liked their work so much we decided to add in matching cabinets above our washer and dryer and so we had the ability to work with Wayne again so our whole kitchen and laundry room is now matching and we are very pleased with the quality of his work not to mention Chris and Matt. I highly recommend them for any sort of home renovation work!

There are not enough good things to say about Wayne and his crew. We contracted them to remodel our bathroom that was in DIRE need of an overhaul. It did take some time for planning the project and then getting each piece done, but Wayne constantly communicated with us throughout the process and during the project itself. Between the work his crew and their subs did, I have a bathroom that my family and friends say looks like something from a fancy hotel room. They took the pieces of what my husband and I envisioned and made it come alive. I still cannot believe how beautiful my bathroom looks!!

His crew was very professional, polite, and efficient. They cleaned up the work and traffic areas daily and didn’t even mind a rogue Labrador Stealer running off with a plastic part. The experience and professional of their company shows in the final product, and even if you are an impatient person like me, believe me when I say it is worth the time, energy, and money to hire HRCS to work on your home. You will NOT be disappointed.

Wayne and his team were professional, talked with me about the entire process, were timely, and never left a mess. I had them remove a bathtub and tile walls from a 1939 bathroom, building back the floor, installing a new tub/shower combo, new drywall and finishing the drywall. I couldn’t be happier with the results. After meeting with multiple companies, my husband and I just knew we liked Wayne, and the price was extremely fair. He himself went above and beyond, he worked on the weekend to go pick up the tub, the guys worked late to finish my job one afternoon, only after asking if it was alright with me, of course. They worked with my plumber seamlessly to get the bathtub installed. I can’t stress enough that they didn’t make a mess in my house. If you’ve had work done inside of your home, you know that’s important. I will definitely use them for any future needs.

The repair and installation of our laundry room floor was flawless. We were extremely impressed with the meticulous work done by Wayne, Matt and John. It was a long day but the crew made it fun with the lighthearted conversations. It was a struggle to find a contractor to even do work in our area, Wayne made sure from my first phone call that he would take care of us. I highly recommend HRCS for whatever project you need.

Hampton Roads Contracting was called in to install my new kitchen cabinets after the first installer failed miserably. These guys (a tag team duo) did an amazing job and corrected everything that was wrong with the first effort. They listened to what I wanted, they recognized flaws in the construction of the cabinets (not made by them) and corrected them on sire. They were professional, talented, courteous, and best of all they were perfectionists.....not happy until they did it right. Not because I didn’t like it, but because they didn’t like it ❤️ I am the most discriminating customer when it comes to construction and remodeling, and I can’t complain about a single thing!! I can’t give input about their pricing because I didn’t pay them directly (paid by my cabinet maker) but they SHOULD be on the higher end, judging by their work. They had one day to finish my installation and they stayed until 10 pm to complete it. They obviously have been working together for some time and have developed an excellent working relationship. It was a pleasure to work with them and I hope to use their services again in the future.

We had Matt & John install our cabinets and crown molding for our new kitchen. As new home owners, we are new to the whole renovation process and I have to say that we were absolutely blown away by the professionalism and attention to detail that these guys have. They not only do amazing work, they're communication is impeccable. There was not one moment where we were not involved, asked opinions or felt that they were rushed in any sense. Wayne even stopped by to check in and we raved about how happy we were that they were on the job. We have many more projects coming up in the future and have already started planning on having them come out to do more work. I work in multi-family property management and have to work with vendors on a daily basis. If everyone had the same integrity and work ethic as these guys, life would be much easier and more enjoyable. They took the renovation process stress away.

Wayne and his team were a joy to work with. They were honest and informative. We had a small job, construction of a railing along four steps and a landing providing access to screen porch. HRCS was happy to bid this minor job, and installed three 4x4s on concrete pads from which to anchor the railing. Solid as a rock! Nicely integrated with existing landing. They also cheerfully made minor cosmetic changes that we suggested along the way. Would happily use HRCS again.

Hampton Roads Contracting Services (HRCS) did an excellent job on our kitchen renovation project. They removed our old cabinets and installed the new ones. They really took their time to make sure the job was done right, and they kept the lines of communication open at all times to ensure we were satisfied with all aspects of the job. Their attention to detail was superb and our new kitchen looks fabulous! I highly recommend HRCS!

If I could give these guys six stars, I would. They installed my kitchen cabinets and island. My initial delivery did not have all of the cabinets and before I call to ask why, Matt and John were on the phone with the distributor and had a delivery time.

I watched them cut the boards, trim and light rails which are all of your finishing touches. The cuts are so tight it looks as if the entire run was one piece. The level of detail the went was incredible.

I will certainly use this company again for anything pertaining to home improvement and know I have nothing to worry about.

The crew was very hands on and informative. They came on time, kept me updated with every step of the process to let me know what they were doing, and what they will be doing next. The guys were very professional, caring and understanding of their space. They ask for permission to use the bathroom for receiving the water to mix up their material. The crew cleaned up behind themselves, wipe down and vacuum the space that hey used.

Had them replace a porch post prior to home inspection. Workers were considerate of their footprint leaving no trace and expert in their work.
