I have a 4 year old roof which started leaking in 2 locations recently. The company who completed the roof work was subsequently sold to an existing company who tried to charge me $250 to inspect their own faulty work (they purchased the liabilities of the old company). Instead of using them, a friend referred me to Hail or High (Steve) Steve was attentive and helpful and agreed to send a crew member out same week to take a look and diagnose the issue. He sent Lulu who arrived early and took about an hour to find the issue and repaired it without a charge. I can’t say this is a normal thing they do, but it was appreciated that they resolved an issue the other roofer should’ve taken care of. I will definitely keep these guys number and happy to refer my friends.

Between hail and wind damage, I needed to have my roof replaced. Steve, at Hail or High Water Roofing Restoration, gave me a very competitive quote on the project. I had seen one of their videos online that impressed me as to the quality of their work. I researched their reviews and could not find a bad one. After dealing with them, I understand why. They are very professional and do quality work. All of my concerns were addressed quickly. They completely dealt with the insurance company taking that headache away. I cannot praise them enough. If anything ever happens to my roof again, they will definitely be the ones I call.

I spoke with over five roofing contractors and Steve Sims with Hail or High Water Roofing was hands down the best in terms of communication, attention to detail, and follow ups. It was nearly a 2 year process to finally receive insurance payout and Steve was there every step of the way from the use of public adjustors and even attorney. In the end, my family and I came out very satisfied with finally getting our roof replaced in ONE day (for a 5,500 sq ft house) and the process was seamless once insurance issues were resolved.

He made sure that the pool was well protected and covered to prevent any nails or debris from compromising the pumps. He had his team follow up multiple times to clear any remaining hidden debris and nails from the property and even had gutters repaired.

This company had done another roof in my neighborhood due to hail and I decided to drop by and check out this company. While I was there I met Steve, a young man much the age of my grandson. I just felt that this was the man who I wanted to do business with. I had him
Look at my roof and I also had damage to my roof and the insurance company finally decided to give me some money although nothing like what it cost me. In the end I had a new roof put on and the crew that Steve sent were here at 6:30 and by 6:30 pm they had torn the old roof off and put the new one on in 12 hours. Wow! What a pleasure to have Hail or High Water Roofing and Restoration help me. I had rain coming in my dryer vent on my roof. Not only did they call me back immediately after hours. Steve had Lulu out at my home the very next morning.

Hail or High Water was very professional, there estimate was very reasonable out of at least 10 other estimates. They went above and beyond our expectations. We are very pleased with our roof.

We've used Hail & High Water for our roof and for my mother's roof. Both times they worked with a public adjuster, kinda like a lawyer, who fought for us and got both our insurance companies to approve a new roof. We also used them for our rental home when the metal roof and chimney needed repair. They show up when they say they will, provide excellent customer service, friendly, professional, do great work and are easy to work with! Highly recommend them!!!

I spent a long time searching for a good roofing company. I read reviews for several hours. I found Hail or High Water Roofing through google reviews (and BBB, other reviews) and I hope this review helps as well. Steve at Hail or High Water is impressively organized (his tickler system is next level) and he worked with my Public Adjuster and my Insurance company for months to get our roof claim approved. Once it was approved, Steve told me exactly what to expect during my roofing project, and our new roof was done in a day. It looks great!! I had some questions (dryer vent) and concerns (window screen damage) and a technician and a screen guy came the next day and took care of everything. We can't really tell when a roofer is doing a good job, which makes any roofing project stressful, but I learned a lot during this project, because Steve answered ALL my questions, and sent me hundreds of pictures of every step of the project. I very highly recommend Hail or High Water for any roofing or restoration project you have. As an engineer and certified Project Manager myself I very much appreciate Hail or High Water's level of Organization, Follow-up, and Work Quality!

After strong winds in Duluth, some shingles blew off our house. I contacted Steve, and his crew inspected the damage quickly. Despite it being minor, Steve offered to fix it for free. It was past time for us to get a new roof & gutters.
So when it came time to hire someone, I wasn’t sure where to start.
Googled roofers but that was mostly a dead end.
Asked a neighbor who did hers & she said Lowe’s.
So I went to Lowe’s.
Red flags started to rise so I went on Google again & saw Hair or High Water & read the reviews.
The day came for consultation & thank goodness Steve with HHW came 1st!
Long story short, it was the easiest decision for hiring a company I’ve ever had to make.
Everything went great, all but one tiny bit of a hiccup. It had poured the rain the night before & as they protected everything around our home, the workers left a muddy mess beside the house with wheel barrels & foot traffic.

I had minor roof leak after heavy rains. I called Hail or High Water and Steve returned my call within minutes. He came out the same day to assess the damage. I also wanted two old satellite dishes removed. He sent the quote the same day and they got the work completed within 2 days. I did request a revision to one repair area, and this was also taken care of promptly at no additional charge. I would use Hail or High Water again and would recommend them to others.

We were very cautious about picking a contractor to replace our roof. Hail or High Water Roofing had replaced several roofs in our subdivision and owners were very happy with the results. This and good reviews on Google convinced us to talk seriously with Steve Sims at Hail or High Water about replacing our roof. Steve explained the roofing material options in detail and their approach to completing a project. I was especially concerned because of the many roof valleys and other leak prone areas. We chose the Owens Corning roofing system for which his company is a certified installer. The materials delivery and roof installation were on the agreed schedule. His team arrived early in the morning to remove the old roofing and installed roof in same day. They put down tarps around the house to catch the debris and the thousands of nails from the old roof. We are very pleased with the teams performance and care taken to install the various parts of the roof system. They also installed upgraded gutters and gutter covers.
Steve came back a day after installation was complete to inspect the roof and discuss any discrepancies. He pointed out some things I had not noticed and had his people come back and take care of them. Steve also processed the roof warranty for us.

Not happy to experience water dripping from the ceiling in the middle of the night! So, the next day I reached out to Hail or High Water Roofing and Restoration for help. Kyle quickly responded and scheduled a time to come out and investigate the problem. He arrived on time. Kyle and the technician covered the attic and roof to determine the cause of the leak. He showed pictures of the problem and explained what it would involve for repairs—the quote for the cost was reasonable. Hail or High Water Roofing and Restoration (HHWRR) is a fantastic and meticulous roofing company. Steve Sims and his father, Richard Sims, are honest, timely, hardworking people, and I highly recommend them to anyone. At the beginning of the process, Steve sent me some beneficial YouTube videos regarding "how to find a good roofing company." HHWRR uses Owens Corning shingles, which is undoubtedly one of the best shingles on the market. Overall, HHWRR is a highly efficient, cost-competitive, expert roofing company.

Steve was very quick to respond to me during the initial contact. An appointment was set and he showed up on time prepared and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. After scheduling the repair materials were neatly dropped at the end of my driveway and a dump trailer set in place. On the day of the install, these guys showed up at daylight and had my new roof installed that same day. This crew was neat, skilled and professional. I was amazed at their skills. After the work was complete, they cleaned up everthing thoroughly. Later that evening, Steve came by to check the work and ran magnets around to remove any stray nails. We reached out to Steve Sims several months ago after a hail storm affected our direct neighborhood and surrounding areas. We noticed many of our neighbors were having their roofs inspected and/or replaced at the time. Steve promptly responded, came out to inspect our roof, and explained to us that our roof was still in good condition and did not recommend full replacement at that time. He promised to keep in touch in the future, especially if any significant weather event hit our area. We were so pleasantly surprised, in that we had several roofers knocking on our doors insisting we needed replacement without even performing an inspection! I hired Hail or High Water to replace my 23 year old roof. After getting 3 other roofing companies to quote, and although Hail or High Water was not the lowest quote I received, I chose them. Steve gave me confidence when he spoke about the roof replacement, he listened and didnt try to "educate" me on why I should upgrade to a higher priced shingle, he made a promise to send a sample and delivered samples the next day. The quote was itemized and easy to understand. None of the quotes I received from others were itemized. When I booked the work, I planned on a couple weeks before getting started, then I changed my mind due to weather. No problem, they came out the same week, and completed the tear off and installation in one day. The crew cleaned up my yard, were mindful of my grass and plants, picked up all the nails around the house and the project manager was always there if I needed him. I think they went the extra mile, but its probably just the way they do things at Hail of High Water.

He then dealt with our insurance company on our behalf to get our roof replacement covered by insurance. HoHW replaced old plumbing vent pipes/boots that had deteriorated and were leaking during rainstorms, causing interior ceiling damage.
