H & A is a family owned company, very conscientious about their work, easy to deal with, fast, high quality. We have used them twice, and will use them again if needed.

Hard working crew, fair pricing and fast. We hired them for a big retaining wall project and were very pleased. Would hire again!

H&A General Contractors did an excellent job with the concrete work at my house. They tore out and rebuilt my crumbling driveway and sidewalks as well as building a new two tier retaining wall. They went above and beyond paying attention to all the little details and making sure the job was done right. I would hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work.

Removed my grass/dirt and added cement down the side of my house. Really easy to work with and the cement looks great!

They installed exposed aggregate pathways, stairs, wall and placed landscaping blocks. In all instances they did a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

They replaced my front driveway, walkway and back porch. They were competitive in price and were able to get us in their schedule quickly. Had others give estimates but were very low, and after seeing some other companies work, you get what you pay for. They were also very curtious of my property and that of my neighbors. Extremely responsive - we needed a contractor to repair sidewalk where tree roots had damaged the sidewalk. He was the only contractor who picked up the phone, came out the very next day and gave us a quote. He took care of getting the city approvals which took a while due to the pandemic but followed up with us and completed the work soon after city approval came through. Would recommend them.

Hasiel and everyone at H&A General Contractor was great to work with. They gave a clear quote before starting, answered all of our questions, were there when they said they would be, finished on time, and were always very polite and professional. Most importantly they do beautiful concrete work. Our new sidewalk is the envy of the block! I would use them again and highly recommend them to others.

I've worked with H&A for about 5 years on different projects around my house. They redid all of my retaining walls and drainage (my property is 2 levels - there are a lot of retaining walls), poured beautiful sidewalks and entry landing. A couple years after the first project I worked with them to convert space into a master bedroom. H&A did the framing, sheetrock, texture. And this year, they poured an amazing new backyard patio and build my outdoor pavilion. I love working with Hasiel, Frederico and crew. I have had a vision, but not a plan for all of my projects and they have really helped guide my projects. I wouldn't have anyone else work on my home.

Being a homeowner for over 20 years and someone who has hired many companies for home improvement projects and can say without a doubt H&A General Contractors is the best company we have ever hired!!! They have done multiple homes in our neighborhood so we had seen the quality of their work for years. When it was our turn to have some work done their was no question who we were going to use. In fact they were the only company we called.
They have done 2 jobs for us this year. first project was to replace our existing fence. They did such a great job our neighbor commented how respectful they were to their year when working on our. Another neighbor mentioned how impressed they were with how H&A would always clean up at the end of the day and project. The second job the did for us was a new stamped concrete patio. Once again they did an amazing job. always communicating with us and answering any questions we has along the way!
Our only regret is it took us 20 years to find them. We will use them for all projects going forward. It is amazing to find a contractor that cares about their customers and goes the extra mile.

H&A did agreat job we were very happy with there work. This is a mom and pop company and we enjoyed meeting them. The crews were very good. Would use them again.

We asked for bids from three contractors for a new driveway and sidewalk repair. Of the three, only H&A provided a written, detailed quote vs. some numbers scribbled on a note pad. They too were the only ones to point out that a city building permit was required. Who knows what would have happened if we'd gone with a contractor who busted things up without a permit and the city had found out about it.

The crew for this family owned business showed up when they said they would, and did an excellent job of pouring the driveway which is on a steep, angled slope. When finished they cleaned up and returned all the landscaping, lawn sprinklers, and stone pathway that had to be dug up or removed during the pouring, as they found it.

We will never need a new driveway, but should we ever need work done on our fencing, deck, siding or landscaping we'll certainly give H&A a call.

H&A installed hardy plank siding over our T1-11 and did a fantastic job. In addition to removing the rotting wood and resealing the front of the house, they also replaced two windows and a skylight, and did a complete paint job on our home. We are really satisfied with their professionalism, friendliness, and clear communication. As new homeowners, they helped us navigate things we didn’t expect to make decisions on (such as choosing light fixtures, window trim styles, and the kinds of window glass). They really worked with our budget and style to deliver quality work. Our house now looks brand new and we’ve been getting so many compliments on it since we went with H&A. Highly recommend working with this team!

Despite some early miscommunications regarding the siding materials to be used, H & A proved responsive and addressed our concerns professionally. The crew were hard working and thorough. The siding repair was done in a timely manner and to our satisfaction.

UPDATE JULY 2021— I'm updating my review from the beginning of last year. While they were great last year, I attempted to get a quote on another project and my experience was completely different. I was given appointment times that were then unavailable when I responded back. And when I was told I could get a stop by visit it was a no-show. Finally I had someone come by to see the work that needed to be done to get an estimate. I was told the estimate would be ready after the weekend (3 days later) which was totally fine. Monday comes and goes, nothing. After a couple days I send an email asking for an update, nothing. As a return customer I had expected to have better responsiveness, even if it was to tell me more time was needed. I understand being busy, but don't leave your clients in total silence.

Always quick to return texts or calls (on the rare occasion they couldn't pick up). Always so friendly and helpful. Demo and construction workers were very friendly and professional. The work they did is beautiful!

I've been contracting with H & A for the last 3yrs and I've never been let down by them. They are good, honest and fair about their work. I highly recommend them to anyone. My house is the 2nd picture on this pag . They did the siding and painting. They also did my backyard with retaining walls, pavers, fireplace and cedar deck.

This company is the best. They're very professional, prompt & communicate he whole process from start to finish with you. But what I liked the most was the fact that they take care of the appearance of your yard. The made sure that they cleaned up any debris everyday when they were done. They will be doing all my remodeling from now on.

H & A General Contractors replaced an aggregate patio, walkway & driveway at my mom & dad's home. Their work was superior from start to finish. Their bid was extremely cost competitive & comprehensive in addressing all pertinent details for a job well done. They started the job immediately & completed it faster than they had quoted. My dad use to be a general contractor so he's not easy to please. He gave H & A General Contractors an 11 on a scale of 1-10 which says it all! We will most definitely use their services again!
