In 2024 Miguel replaced the roof on my home, a 1911 multi-story, plex in Irvington. He had the skill on-staff to correct a significant rafter problem and rolled graciously with mid-stream design change. He was mindful of the schedule, always prompt, communicative, coordinated smoothly with other contractors and his staff thoroughly cleaned up the work-site every day. Any large job has issues and Miguel addressed them promptly and professionally; his follow-through is impressive. His pricing was competitive. I felt like I had a skilled, communicative PARTNER in the whole project. I’m retired from real estate and recognize that Miguel’s company is a gem. Miguel and his crew are the best! We used Exterior Care PDX for many years to clean out our gutters, but recently, after noticing some shingles from the roof in the yard, we had them come out to assess our roof. Miguel gave us the news that it needed to be replaced. He came out, used his drone plus got on the roof himself, and gave us an estimate by the end of the day. The price was fair and reasonable. Afterwards, he lets you choose the shingles and color, and before you know it, he and his crew get to work. They did our roof in three days. I was impressed at how fast they were. They also do a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I didn't see one piece of trash in the yard after they finished. Miguel is easy to get a hold of (phone calls, texts, emails), and his crew are friendly and hard working. I would recommend Exterior Care PDX for anyone in the Portland metro looking to do roof replacement, roof care or gutter cleaning.

Miguel (the owner) and his crew were the best! They were very hard working and didn't flinch when the roof replacement turned into a more difficult job than expected. The crew was respectful of the property, and cleaned up every day! And they all seemed very happy and contented employees - which means they take pride in their work and it shows with our new beautiful roof. Miguel is very knowledgeable and kept us informed about everything going on. 5+ stars for this company. I wish all home repair companies were this good.

When we sold our house in Happy Valley, the buyer's inspector said we needed to install an "anti-ponding" system along the gutter line of the roof. The buyer selected a contractor to do the work for $12,000. We got an alternative estimate from Exterior Care PDX and they did the work for $3,000. Miguel did an excellent job and was able to save us $9,000 in the process!

My gutter was leaking in a corner and I thought the facia board was dry rotted. Miquel came out to give me an estimate and after checking it out determined that the gutter was leaking, but the board didn't have dry rot. He told me he could reseal it right then and there for what I considered a very reasonable price. I was very pleased with his honesty about the board not being bad and the job he did!

I have been using their services for a few years. Lots of great talent with this group and very professional.

Miguel was AMAZING to work with. He was super knowledgeable and had great product recommendations based on years and years of experience. His team tore off our old roof, re-sheeted and re-roofed our house. They also installed brand new gutters. His price was great and the quality and attention to detail was even better. My particular project took 3 days. At the end of each day they had a guy with a leaf blower cleaning up everything. They even brought their own trailered porta-potty. Very professional crew. We even recommended to our neighbor and they ended up using Exterior Care PDX for an entire new roof and gutters as well just a few days later! Would/will 100% recommend this company as I'm 100% happy with the work that was done and overall experience.

I highly recommend Exterior Care PDX Inc. They maintained my roof for 8 years and when it needed to be replaced it in 2022; they were my top choice among 3 bids. Their bid was the lowest cost, with a more reasonable down payment and the most detailed. I enjoyed working with Miguel. He consulted on material choices and gave me an opportunity to see my choices installed on other homes; so much better than looking at a sample or brochure. Great communications regarding expectations, schedule, weather, protection of my home, and work hours. Miguel’s excellent coordination with suppliers resulted in just-in-time deliveries to my roof. The very professional and hardworking crew also cleaned up the job site at the end of each day. I am very happy with my new roof and the quality of the materials and workmanship.

The whole experience was great. They came a few weeks early and when they got here the crew was tidy, fast, courteous and a the end job looks first class. Fantastic prices into the bargain. 5* recommendation from me.

We had a 30-year-old deck where different boards would get rotten per year, and they'd come out to replace them, like 4 or 5 times. Finally they informed us that it was past repair, and would have to be replaced. Each time they came out for the repairs or replacement, the work was excellent and finished very quickly. Replacing wood is a spendy project these days, but they still had the best price.

Exterior Care removed a wood stove pipe from our roof and repaired the roof. They also installed several vents to create better airflow in our attic space. The crew showed up on time and their work was clean and the repairs blend into the existing roof very well. We will definitely use Exterior Care again. Thanks Miguel and crew!

The team at Exterior Care PDX has always taken good care of us. They have been really responsive whenever we had an issue. We've had them out several times for small fixes like gutter seam welds, but also had them do a complete gutter replacement at our old house and even a roof replace at our new place. If we had issues with the work done, they were quick to set things right, so I have been very happy with their services.

We have used Miguel and his crew on multiple occasions for not only our own home but for replacing the roof on a couple of rental buildings. These guys are as good as it gets and are the gold standard for client/contractor relationships, in my opinion!! Name a category.... responsiveness, quality work, fair pricing, punctual. All boxes checked!

Pros:
They are quick and responsive. They even replaced our roof in the rain. Great value and pricing.

Cons:
When tossing nails and shingles to the ground, they didn't do a great job of tracking all those pieces. So after they were done, we found lots of these nails all over our property. Luckily our puppy didn't step on them. Also, they broke 2 planters on the property (no apologies and didn't replace them or acknowledgment by supervisor after notifying the crew).

Where do I even start! Miguel is the man. I have been helping people buy and sell houses for some years now and Miguel is and has been my go-to for new roofs. Always professional. Consistently quality work. His communication is clear and transparent. He and his crew(s) are timely as hell when deadlines have been close and have left every customer more than happy with their work.

10/10 would and do recommend!

A complete tear off required, plywood laid down and tiles for most of roof area with TPO on flat area and garage, vents reinstalled, all done in three plus days. Real team work on the job. Looks great

We've been using Exterior Care PDX since 2012. They have cleaned and restained our deck twice, powerwashed driveway, walkways and porch, and replaced our roof. I have recommended Exteror Care to others and will continue using and recommending them. Staff are all very pleasant, work hard, and clean up after themselves. Miguel is our "go to" guy for exterior work.

Our neighbor recommended Exterior Care Pdx for our new roof installation. They started the installation the day that was agreed upon and completed by the next day. We were very pleased with their workmanship and their attitude - very friendly. Exterior Care PDX Inc. completed our new roof installation on 8/14/20 and I'm writing this review on 11/11/20. Yes this has been a while. I don't like to write reviews but Miguel and his team at Exterior Care PDX Inc. did such a great job that I needed to write one!

Miguel had given us a quote for a new roof installation that was valid for 30 days from the time of our roofing inspection. With the rise in cost of materials and our closing date being pushed past the 30 days, Miguel was kind enough to honor our original quote even it had already expired. This saved us a lot of money. Miguel was prompt with his communication and was very thorough with explaining everything to us.

The new roofing installation went smoothly from start to finish. The workers arrived on time each day and completed the entire job earlier than expected. They even repaired one of our loosely hanging gutter which we didn't ask them to do but was appreciated. Talk about above and beyond service! Everything about working with Exterior Care PDX was top notch! They replaced a large area of my roof, resurfaced a walkout rooftop deck with TPO (much more cost effective than Deck Rite or Duradeck) and put a new roof on an outbuilding. I highly recommended them for quality, cost, professionalism and punctuality. By far the BEST contractor I have worked with in years. Fixed everything I asked with great customer service. This was the year of the roof leak for our family. Both our main residence and our small cottage at the coast had unexpected leaks. Miguel was prompt and professional. I was really pleased with my roof-replacement experience with Exterior Care. Miguel was not only able to offer the best price out of four bids, but was also the most personable and had the most detailed estimate. In addition, he also offers a 15-year transferrable warranty! At one point he realized that he had under-measured my roof, but did not back down from his original bid. Miguel's crew was very thorough with their work--a couple of times when issues arose, they took care of things quickly and respectfully. I now have a beautiful new roof, and feel good about giving the business to someone with Miguel's high integrity.

I hired Miguel to fixing leaking skylight and plumbing vent on a tile roof. He replaced 2 skylights, and built new curb mounts as well as replacing the rotted portion of plywood. Installed new flashing and roofing under layment. his crew cleaned the moss debris and replaced some of the tiles that where cracked. He and his team were professional, and did the work at a competitive price. I highly recommend them.

I hired Exterior Care as part of a real estate transaction, where cleaning the roof was part of the buyer's repair addendum. They also required an inspection following. The independent inspector found no issues and described the very complete job done by Exterior Care, which also had been one of the lower bids for this job. They also were accommodating and when another job finished early, they moved us up and finished 4 days early! I absolutely will recommend/use them in the future.

This company is extremely professional, courteous and prompt. They do a superior, quality job and beat the competition in pricing!
We hired Exterior Care to find a leak above our fire place. They located the issue right away. They also asked if we wanted to see what needed to be repaired (chimney flashing). We called a couple of other companies and lo and behold, Exterior Care had the best price.
They performed such quality work on fixing our leak and didn't pull any surprises on the estimate, so we hired them to clean our roof as well.
Miguel and his employees cleaned the roof spic and span and hauled off the debris like they were never there :D
