We are very pleased with our new Sunsetter Awning installation. Manager Carl patiently answered all our questions and explained our awning options. Installer technicians Eddy and Ricardo followed up with a great install and review of operating instructions. Looking forward to having a shady spot on our deck this summer!

I just purchased my second product from Gutter Helmet. The first was about 4 years ago with a back yard very large Sunsetter which I am loving every day outside and BBQ. Now I am enjoying the EZ Screen Zipper Track which now creates a useable patio in the front of the house.

We had the Gutter Helmet installed back in 2011 and noticed a few leaks recently. They came by and fixed all the issues in about an hour with no charge and no hassle. First time we had to have them come by in more than 12 years and they were great.

We received immediate response to our quote request for a Sun Setter custom shade. Carl came out reviewed the location and after discussing pros and cons of several options we decided on a shade. The install team was professional and on time and we are now enjoying the shade as it helps cut the sun glare on our windows.

After meeting with Carl to select the fabric color and options, we ordered a 20' wide Sunsetter Awning and had Gutter Helmet install it on our patio roof. Eddie and his helper did an efficient and smooth installation of this very large awning -- it's clear that they've put up many awnings and have it down to a science. Having done the installation myself with a smaller awning in a previous house, I would recommend having the Gutter Helmet pros do it. The awning works perfectly and has extended the shade for our patio.

Excellent customer service. I've been covering my gutters in stages, and they are always a pleasure to work with. Their product has no screens that catch stems and seeds. They even provide a high pressure nozzle for yearly cleaning.

We recently had to have a new roof put on our house. This project went sideways. Carl came out and explained what the roofers had done wrong and how we could get back on track. Carl talked with the roofer and explained what was needed. Wendy and Kassie were great about relaying messages to Carl and arraigning people to come out and finish the Helmet installation. Eddy and Ricardo were excellent about replacing the Helmets and being able to repair some of them so we did not have to buy new pieces. I would recommend Gutter Helmet of Idaho for the first installation of a new Gutter Helmet system. I would recommend that you call Carl before you let anyone touch your roof.

I had Gutter Helmet installed on my entire house, and it looks amazing! And it works great! They also installed additional gutters and cleaned everything out. It's not the cheapest gutter screen system you can buy, but it is worth the cost. Lifetime transferable warranty for materials and performance! Ricky and Eddy were very professional and got my job installed as scheduled. Great communication with Carl also.

I have used Gutter Helmet of Idaho for two jobs at my residence. Both jobs were somewhat unconventional and required customization of the gutters.
I could not have been more pleased with the work. Carl who estimated the jobs was responsive, prompt, and personable, and he provided the estimates quickly.
Eddie and Ricardo completed the work in a timely manner and were on time and friendly. They made sure I was satisfied prior to their leaving, and they removed all trash and material from the job site.

October 2022 we had Carl come out and give us a quote for adding new seem less gutters. Carl was friendly, professional and quick to give a quote. He was not pushy at all but gave some great information about the product. He was the fifth quote we had received and he was the most cost effective for our project yet the outcome was just as good as the others. With the increased demand for construction contractors, many are overpricing and taking advantage of the public. This was not the case with Carl and Gutter Helmet.

Within two weeks Eddy and Ricardo were out installing our new gutters. The installers were professional and polite while putting up with our hyper dog. Within a day they had them installed and they left no trace of trash or debris. The new gutters look amazing! My husband and I would recommend Gutter Helmet to anyone looking to add a nice looking and effective gutter to their home.

Eddie & Ricardo did a great job. These guys are clearly skilled craftsmen. The installation (gutters & helmet) was clean and plumb/level (proper elevation). The joints were properly mitered. These guys were also not, in any way, obnoxious. They didn't have tunes, much less garbage tunes blaring. They were kind and respectful. They were also careful and conscientious with our yard and foliage, minimizing inevitable, very minor collateral damage. Carl (sales), also, was very professional in planning the job and coordinating the work. In comparing prices, quality of the materials, accommodation (scheduling) and workmanship, it appears Gutter Helmet of Idaho, Inc., can't be beat. Thanks, so much, guys. You deserve your bonus.

I ordered a custom retractable sunsetter awning from Gutter Helmet. Carl came prepared for our first meeting and easily answered my questions. I expected lead time would be months given recent supply chain issues on everything. It took only 3 weeks from order through installation! Eddy did a great job with installation and even cleaned up after himself. Other than having my new awning, it was like they had never been there. I recommend without hesitation.

Gutter Helmet installed a SunSetter awning on our home. The gentleman who installed it did an excellent job and was very courteous. He answered all our questions and showed us how everything worked. All in all a great experience.

I had my gutters replaced. The estimate, information and no sales pressure from Carl made the consultation a great experience. Eddy installed everything perfect and cleaned up everything when done. Stacy promptly sent receipt and warranty information. Great experience overall!

I added a covered deck to my house and needed gutters for the new part of the roof. Carl recommended they use my old gutter from the house that was taken down from adding on the roof of the new deck which saved me money! Eddy, Shane, and Rick were all on time and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and were efficient. It was a good experience.

Carl was very helpful and we felt gave us a good bid to replace our gutters. Eddy and Brent did a wonderful job installing the new gutters. The only negative item was that they did not re-attach the Sat. dish wires and were left hanging. I would recommend this company for gutter replacements.

Carl came out and measured and gave me a price for replacing all of my gutters. On the day of the replacement I surprised them and asked for some additional gutters. Carl was able to contact his team, get the extra materials. His team of Eddy and Brandon showed up on time, completed the replacement and did a great job. I would recommend them to others.

They do great work. The owner Carl is a awesome guy to work with. But the two stars is for the lack of clean up if any I have picked up multiple little square nails and the big spiik nails and other debri and it's not safe my dog can step on the stuff and hurt herself. I can understand missing a few things there but when I am constantly picking more then one hand full of stuff up that's clearly in plain sight that's not good. I took a picture of a few things I got again today. But not sure how to post the picture

Be very careful if you call these people as the product in my estimations does not do the job as advertised. After last year’s deep snow and the long time, we had ice dams I called Gutter Helmet. I told the salesman what concerns I had with my current gutters. Leaves and dirt obviously but I was really concerned with the Ice. He assured me that the gutter helmet system would take care of all my concerns from the day they were installed. From then on, I would no longer have a worry. I gave the salesman the order and then waited expecting that the company would set an appointment, as I was told by the salesman. After about two weeks I called the main office which I discovered was in Spokane Washington. They seem to have no record of order. I was very unhappy as I had given the salesperson my credit card number for the cost of the new gutters and the helmets. Eventually, the order which had been, "according to them, misplaced by the salesperson", was found and a date was set to do the install.
When the crew arrived to do the work, they had everything mixed up. I had chosen to install all new gutters along the front of my house plus a section of new gutters on the side. They came prepared to only repair my old front gutters and install the helmets on the old gutters along with the new section. It took a bit, but we got everything reorganized and the work was done. I must say that the crew was efficient and seem well trained.
This past fall the gutter helmets worked reasonably well. There were still some places in the front where the water did not all run into the gutter. I was about to call and talk with them when the snow hit. I had massive snow dams again with huge Icicles hanging off the roof and water collecting on my sidewalk creating a skating rink that was very dangerous. I called and left a message for the person identified as the owner, his name is Carl. Carl never returned my call. I then called the office in Spokane and told the person in that office of my frustration with Carl. She said she would contact him and have him call me. He finally did call, and we made an appointment.
He arrived for his appointment and when I described my problem the first thing out of his mouth was that the helmets would not stop ice dams unless I had had them install the heat tapes to take care of the ice. When I questions why I had not been told this in the first place he tried to say that we have ice dams so seldom in this area they don't talk about it much. I specifically said in the beginning that was a concern. I got no real answer about the question, but my suspicion was that the salesperson didn’t really know his job.
At any rate I asked if he would give me an estimate to install the appropriate equipment. He agreed to do so. That was over three weeks ago, and I have heard nothing. Others may have had a better time with this company, but I say be very wary of Carl and his group. To get what I thought I had paid for is now going to cost me additional money.

We are extremely happy with our decision to purchase our new gutters and SunSetter Awning from Carl at Gutter Helmet of Idaho. Carl arrived at our home on time with lots of samples for us to choose from. Brad and Eddie did a great job with the installation of both the gutters and the awning. It was a pleasure to have them working here. Definitely would recommend Gutter Helmet of Idaho to anyone interested in gutters or the SunSetter Awning. Great Company and Great People. Gutter Helmet of Idaho was referred to us by Sunsetter Retractable Awnings to order and install an awning for us. Carl came out and measured, then sat down to go over our options. He made this process very easy. Our one issue was we were hoping to get our awning quickly for a summer party. He accommodated us by installing a "loaner" awning for us to use until ours arrived. Our awning arrived in a timely manner, his crew came out installed it and we can't rave about it enough. We absolutely love our awning and the first rate service provided by the Gutter Helmet team!
