I had a weird smell in my house and wasn’t sure what it was. I called Done Right and Andrew answered the phone and was over to my house 20 minutes later. They did a quick inspection to confirm it wasn’t mold at no cost. This is what great customer service and communication looks like. This company saved us! A competitor in the valley was intent on charging us for every little thing, running extra fans that were in my opinion unneeded, and insisting on charging us to come out and check the fans daily even when our insurance claim had been denied and that was no longer needed. This caused a huge bill, which I believe was way higher that it needed to be. In the end, the floor wasn't even dry after running a ton of fans for what ended up being 18 days!!! I finally pulled the plug and stopped the suffering. I tried to dry it out myself but had no luck. I then found Done Right Flood & Fire Services and while the other company was a corporation, these guys seemed more like a family-owned business. I reached out and they had immediate pity on us. They came out and made us a helpful offer with a promise of drying us out in 12 days all the while only using one (YES ONE!!!) de-humidifier and NO fans. The other company were running upwards of 10 fans around the clock for 13 of the 18 days and then 2 after that. Amazingly, the floor was dry in 12 days as they said! We were then able to get the floor fixed and our Master Bedroom is now restored. I would totally recommend this company. They are reasonable human beings and they aren't looking to take advantage of you when you are desperate and lacking knowledge. They showed up when they said they would , were friendly, and helpful.

We had extensive flood, mold, and asbestos we needed removed from our home. Done Right was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Our old house threw them plenty of curveballs that they were able to handle quickly and professionally. The new bathroom is gorgeous and turned out absolutely perfect. Done Right is fair, prompt, and professional in all our dealings.

Done Right was efficient and timely with their service. The owner Andrew was the first one under our house to pump out water in our very muddy crawlspace. They were patient with us while waiting on insurance delays. They kept a detailed record of photos to show us what was happening in our crawlspace.

A most excellent restoration company that is home grown local company. I have not had the pleasure of using there service ( no disaster needs but have tow friends that had to pick a company and they chosen them and were very satisfied with their work and follow up. These guys came out of nowhere today to help me. I was waiting for a wrecker to come and pull my car off a culvert in a steep ditch, and they just pulled up to help. A Thanksgiving story
My wife’s mom lives with us. Shirley is 89. She has Alzheimer’s and has been failing more rapidly the past six months. We try to keep things as constant as possible. Major changes are not well received.

This year we decided to decorate early for Christmas. Laura is an amazing daughter, doing a little bit each day so it wasn’t a major change but more of a magical addition. I married way above my station. She made her mom’s room extra special. We honestly don’t know if this will be the last Christmas Shirley will remember.

We got everything finished and relaxed. Two days later change came. We had a flood in our upstairs bathroom and it came through the downstairs ceiling. What an inconvenience at anytime but especially during the holiday season. We stopped the flow of water and I called Done Right Flood and Fire Services expecting them to come out the next morning. They came out within the hour - definitely passed this old guys bedtime. They assessed the damage and came out again the next morning to begin mitigation.

Laura’s mom had to be moved out of the house during the demolition and repairs. Andrew Massoud’s crew has been amazing. Justin, Kaeden, John, Kalee, and Joyce. I can’t recommend them more highly. Hearing of Laura’s mom’s condition they prioritized the downstairs and lined up the crews. Luckily everything lined up perfectly. The best part of this unfortunate situation was being walked through the process “with” someone you trust. This alleviates a heck of a lot of stress. Late Wednesday the downstairs was completed. Laura and I spent our first Thanksgiving by ourselves in a very long time and it was great in a way. We spent it moving furniture back into the house and then redecorating. We moved Laura’s mom back that weekend though the upstairs still isn’t done yet. Thank you Done Right - homes are more than just a structure to you and we are grateful for that.

Done Right has always been easy to work with. This time we had a leak in the upstairs bathroom of my rental home and Andrew and his crew fully inspected my home and helped me know what I could do to remedy the problem without having to file an insurance claim. They didn't charge me for this service and I can't think of a better company to work with when an expert is needed to help with an emergency.

Extremely disappointed.Their customer service was abysmal - calls and emails went unanswered for weeks, and when they did respond, their staff was rude and dismissive. Their work was shoddy at best, leaving damaged trim unrepaired and visible smoke residue on our walls. They overcharged for services not completed and refused to address our concerns. What started as a devastating house fire became an even bigger nightmare due to their unprofessional service. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else

Done right repaired my ceiling that had water damage due to a roof leak. They did an excellent job repairing the damaged area and painting the ceiling so you could not tell that any damage had happened. I had some trouble with the original invoice but do to good customer service I was able to get it resolved to my satisfaction.

Andrew, Kaeden, and Justin came out to my house to check if we had mold in our bathroom. Thankfully we didn’t, but they went above and beyond to check and provide other solutions for the issues we were seeing. Customer Service was amazing and we will definitely be using them again in the future!

An unfortunate bathroom flooding which was widespread from bedroom to crawl space and Done Right handled everything from start to finish right on schedule with no delays. I would recommend them from floods to fires and mold problems too.

My husband was out of town when the washer drain came out and flooded the upstairs while I was getting my children ready for school. The water spread so fast it started raining through the light fixtures downstairs along with the smoke alarms going off. I called my husband in a panic not knowing what to do! We had recent water damage in a downstairs bathroom from a leak in the bathroom located above. Done Right was referred to us by the plumbing company that repaired the leak.
As the result of the water damage it required almost a total removal of drywall, built-in-cabinets and flooring. It also required asbestos abatement because of the age of the home.
Done Right arranged for all the bids, along with submitting the necessary information to insurance. All of the crew were very personable, professional and easy to work with. Kalee handled most all of the insurance interaction, supplying what they requested. She also was our primary contact on the status of our case. She was always easy to contact and quick to respond to our questions. They made a difficult situation much easier.

I thought I had a minor leak from my dishwasher when the kitchen floor was suddenly swollen and separated from the subfloor one morning. I disconnected the dishwasher and put out a fan and a space heater, hoping the problem would go away. Three days later, it was no better and I filed an insurance claim. When the insurance company gave me a list of water damage contractors they work with, I did some research and found that the best of them had only mediocre reviews, so I searched for a better alternative and came across Done Right Flood & Fire Services, Inc. I contacted them from their website late on a Saturday afternoon expecting to hear from them Monday. Instead, I got a call from Andrew Massoud who said he would have someone come out right away!
Since I had already stopped the source of the leak and I knew the damage was already done, I told him there was no emergency, so he said someone would be out Monday. From the very beginning, communication with Andrew and his team has been amazing! They always return calls and emails promptly and call or stop by frequently to check on the progress. I have had trouble with my insurance company, who denied the claim from nearly the beginning. Andrew communicated directly with out-of-state insurance adjuster and really pushed the insurer to acknowledge coverage of my loss. Ultimately, we were not successful in getting coverage, then Andrew worked with me to find ways to cut the costs of our water damage repairs and significant model remediation.
Each of Done Right’s subcontractors has been very professional, quick, courteous and friendly and all of them have done what they can to help minimize what turned out to be an uninsured loss. While this experience has been miserable, it has been made more tolerable by Andrew, the team at Done Right and the subcontractors they sent to work on the various aspects of the problem.
Done Right Flood and Fire has earned every positive review and 5-star rating it has received. There’s no question I made the right choice by picking a local, family-owned and highly-rated contractor rather than a national franchise picked my completely unhelpful insurer.
It’s still a work in progress, so I can’t post pictures of the completed project yet, but have included a couple shots from the middle of the remediation process before repairs have started.

Full Story:

When we found paint bubbling on our wall, we called a contractor recommended by our insurance. Should have known better, but their reviews were pretty good, so I thought it would keep things simple.

They opened up the wall and found extensive damage and mold, as we feared. A member of our household has severe mold allergies that can trigger serious medical problems, so we asked the contractor to do an especially intense remediation, even if we would have to pay some uninsured cost. Instead, they were condescending and dismissive, and after trying to pull teeth for a while, we finally decided to look for someone else.

Through a friend-of-a-friend connection, I reached out to Andrew at Done Right, and the whole experience flipped around.

Andrew listened and acknowledged our medical concerns, and took them very seriously. Justin, who came out to analyze the job, patiently walked us through exactly how the remediation would work, and took several above-and-beyond measures to ensure it was completely eradicated. They opened and tested a larger radius, rented fans for a longer period than usual when doing the post-treatment drying, etc.

At each step, the Done Right team was in direct communication with our insurance, sending documents, ensuring approvals, and explaining to us what all the terrms and steps meant.

After the work was done, the final payout from insurance came up about $2500 short of what I had expected to be fully indemnified. I was going back and forth with the insurance company, who told me with increasing directness that they didn’t need to pay another cent. I reached out to Andrew to see if he knew where the disconnect was. Within a day, he had talked to our adjustor, cleared things up, and we got a check fully covering the remaining cost. The Done Right crew even sent pictures of the wall as they found it to our insurance, which got them to cover what we had paid the previous company for starting the tear-out.

I have seen the Done Right trucks all over Boise and when I found my spare bathroom had severe water damage from a leaking toilet I decided to give them a call.

These guys are amazing!!! We had a flood in our crawlspace, and the water went up the walls to the ceiling. They came out immediately, got their blowers set up and removed the we damaged drywall. They had everything fixed in a matter of weeks.

All of the different workers they had in my home from electricians to builders were amazing. If I had a question they answered the phone the phone right away or returned my call within 10minutes. They minimized the amount of time it took to compete repairs by having everything lined up and ready to go.
