Juan’s work was stellar. He replaced broken tiles, then cleaned the roof and gutters. He cleaned up after himself and soft washed the house siding and windows. The roof looks great and we are happy with the services provided.

Very satisfied with the time he took to go over and explain everything with me. This is my first time doing a new roof and this was a very good experience! Looking forward to seeing it when it is complete. Thank you so much!

Would have given 5 stars but I was uncomfortable that a technician came by unannounced at almost 8pm last night to say hi/check in? The project has been done for a week or more and I have already been contacted making sure the work was completed and no one else would need to come out. So I thought it was really weird someone would drop in randomly a week later. I don’t like people stopping by unannounced, I was in the middle of something and my dog got agitated and got out when I opened the door. It was really weird and uncomfortable that he would come by to say hi in my opinion (he said he was off work at that point).

We had Ron come to our house today to inspect our roof, and he did a very thorough job. He explained the issues in detail using a video, which helped us clearly understand what was going on. Ron also provided solutions and offered different options to address the problems. He was very professional and customer-oriented, taking the time to list all the tasks by priority and asking about our specific needs. We truly appreciate his dedication to customer service and his extensive knowledge.

Problem solved. Vents were inadvertently disconnected during project because they were improperly installed by an HVAC company not associated with Guardian years ago. Your crew reinstalled and taped and sealed them properly, many thanks !!

Francisco and his crew have been great. It's been blazing hot, and they working on a two-story house with lots of angles in the roof. They work hard, are polite and clean up each evening. They ran into a couple of issues and took care of them quickly and efficiently.

Santiago was very polite, professional, and thorough. He even cleaned up part of the neighbor's yard where some debris had fallen! 5 stars!!

I had an estimate completed by Jimmy Brown. He showed up on time, was professional, friendly and was very honest. He showed options for my project and was respectfully when I explained that I needed to discuss the project with my spouse. Additionally, scheduling, with Jordan, was excellent. She worked with me to find a date and time that worked out good for us. I really appreciate the total experience!

Very good communication and flexibility getting us an estimate. Jimmy even offered and took a few minutes to clean up cob webs for us while on his ladder in our bathroom!

Joshua Lee did an amazing job for my roof inspection! Washington really pleased with his product knowledge and also professionalism. Have not purchased a roof yet but once I do I know RROC exteriors will be the first place to turn to with their amazing employees! 100% would recommend and refer them to anyone for all things exterior.

I had a square roof vent come off, leaving a hole, and I hired Guardian to do the repair. I met with the estimator, Richard, who was very friendly, thorough and professional. He gave me a tour of my roof though a video and explained what needed to be done and what their estimate was. I hired them and they had a person at the house two days later doing the repairs. Orlando was the person that came and he was friendly, professional and did a great job. He left no sign that he had even been there. I recommend Guardian Roofing.

I'm leaving this 1 star review for what I've observed happening at my neighbors' house and now because of a personal issue that happened today. Starting approximately 1 year ago, Guardian Roofing has been "caring" for my neighbors' roof. They own a beautiful, well kept property in South Tacoma but the first time I saw Guardian Roofing out there, they were PRESSURE WASHING the asphalt roofing tiles. I was concerned and spoke to the neighbor but they said that the company they hired were professionals and that they trusted that they knew how to clean a roof. I also did my own Google search and found that it is basically NEVER a good idea to pressure wash asphalt roofing tiles. It was especially concerning to me because I could clearly see them pressure washing against how the tiles lay, and I could even see the tiles lifting up in places. I'm sure this caused their water to get into the wood below the tiles.
Since then, Guardian Roofing has been out a shocking amount of times for what I can only guess is their "maintenance plan" which included pressure washing the roof at least one other time.
Now, Guardian Roofing has dropped off new roof supplies days ago, early enough in the morning to interrupt my young son's sleep with their annoyingly loud truck and has since left the supplies sitting obnoxiously on the roof, I'm assuming, waiting for a crew to have time to install it.
Today, after another crew came and went, they had a team member go door to door, hanging door hangers on all of my other neighbors' properties, including ours, as if none of us had not already been disturbed enough by their presence.
I wasn't going to leave this review because honestly, if my neighbor wants to waste their money on being swindled and not take advice from a simple Google search, who am I to argue with them and cause neighborhood drama, but after the door hanging incident I'm seriously done with this company. I would never, ever consider hiring Guardian Roofing to "care" for my roof, even if it was collapsing down around me. Think twice, research yourself, don't fall for scammers.

Called Guardian for chimney siding repair and a roof/gutter cleaning. Joshua inspected the attic as part of the visit and found there to be very little insulation and early signs of mold due to poor ventilation. Some people wouldn't like 'new' problems to be found, but I appreciate it because this is something caught before becoming a much larger and much more expensive issue down the road. I signed up for everything to be done, and when the big day came they got it all completed quicker than originally quoted. Clean up was excellent, the crew cleaned areas that they didn't even get dirty, but saw that it was dirty and beautified it for us. I appreciate seeing pictures and videos of everything before and after. I am leaving a 5 star review for Joshua and the work/clean crew, however I will say the office/admin staff get a 3 star.

Communication was fractured and confusing at times. No one ever called me to 'schedule' the appointment, it was just booked and I got a call 1 business day before to 'confirm' the crew would be at my house. They said I didn't need to be home, but I felt more comfortable being there, which meant an unexpected day off of work since I didn't get to pick a date. When I was home I came to the conclusion that I absolutely "needed" to be there as the crew had questions and needed access to the side gate which was locked, and eventually to my water spigot which was in another area they weren't aware of.

Overall my job was split into 2 parts to be completed on separate days. On the morning of part 1 they called to cancel it saying they didn't have equipment, but that other techs were available to come work on part 2, I said no problem. Moments later the part 1 people showed up and had no idea why I was told they were cancelled. Towards the end of the day I realize they are working on the other part too, and everything was done in 1 day. This of course was awesome, but all the little mis-communications from their office caused confusion, leaving me not knowing what was really going to happen until it was actually being done.

Joshua and the work crew were awesome, in the end I am still happy. The work performed was professional and high quality. Would I use guardian again? .. Probably? I guess if I had to choose, I'd rather have confusing administrative errors instead of errors on my house.

We have worked with guardian on multiple occasions to resolve a roof leak. Guardian has diagnosed and fixed two large dollar items on the roof only to have the leak continue in the same area. Most recently we have had extremely poor communication and documentation from guardian resulting in an estimate that did not reflect the necessary components of what was needed in a repair. Now we’ve waited two weeks, with multiple calls to guardian, without getting an estimate, email, or call back. Extremely poor customer service.

Guarding put a new roof on our house 17 years ago. It started leaking through the vent over the stove. I called them. They said they'd send someone from warranty out withing two days. They called. Told me when he'd be here. Carlos came out and an hour later the roof was repaired. Super easy. No unnecessary questions. Fixed. Done. Great job!!!

To summarize our experience with Guardian in Auburn/Tacoma:
-Underestimated the bid to get the work
-Tried to get significantly more money after the project started
-Do not return phone calls
-Does not even honor the compromise work agreement
-Abandons you with uncompleted work
- 8 page contract that has some concerning clauses in it, including negative reviews
-Communication with the crews is extremely difficult

My family had a very unfortunate experience with Guardian roofing. We had a leak in our roof and called Guardian to come give an estimate to repair. Their estimator, Joe, came over and went through the attic to get an idea of the issue and get an estimate. It was roughly $15,000 to repair the roof, pretty steep, but we could make it work as we didn’t want any further damage to occur.

During the course of repairs, it was really difficult to communicate with the workers as there wasn’t anyone that spoke English on site, so we weren’t sure how things were going. Halfway through the work they came back to us with an additional $6,000 worth of repairs they said needed to be done. Obviously, this was very upsetting as our budget was already stretched with the repair.

Once we found out about the additional work, we worked with Travis and his manager to come up with a plan, within our budget, to do the best job they could. Travis and the crew worked on the roof and said they would come back the next day to finish the job. They didn’t show up the next day, or the day after that, and then finally a worker came in the morning several days later for 15 minutes and said they couldn’t complete the plan Travis laid out, and that they were done with us….

This clearly leaves us in a terrible position, and we tried reaching out to the manager Alan or Travis, and never received a call back over the past couple of days.

Also, if you are wondering why there are so many positive reviews, in their 8 page contract they make you sign (yes, even for repairs, an 8 page contract needs to be signed), there is specific clauses in there highly discouraging leaving negative reviews.

After initial contact requesting a moss killer application only and specifically clarifying no cleaning or inspection. They asked to schedule an appointment for 9:00am on a Tuesday. When the service tech arrived he stated that they only offer a cleaning service and would not only apply Mossicide to the roof. So after taking time off, I now have to find another contractor and take another day off. This kind of bait and switch is a common scam.

Guardian Roofing came out to give us an estimate on cleaning our tile roof. The estimate for cleaning the roof was $2700. Even though this was much more than we anticipated for a roof cleaning, we hired Guardian to do the work.

The reasons we hired Guardian were primarily because they put an acrylic finish on the roof to protect it from moss growth, and this process comes with a 5 year warranty. If our roof has any moss growth Guardian will come back out and reclean the roof.

The second reason we chose Guardian was because they protect the landscaping by tarping the areas around the house. This was important to us because we had just completed having our landscape around the house redone with block walls, and rock and stepping stone pathways. The estimate even stated special care to protect landscape.

The roof came out great, and that is why I rated Guardian 2 star, however, they made a mess of our landscaping. Guardian didn't use any tarps to protect our pathways, and there was roof debris throughout our pathways, and landscape. It took over 8 hours to clean the mess Guardian made in our landscaping, and it is still not completely cleaned up.

Guardian did send an employee out to clean, but he didn't put a dent in the debris throughout our landscaping. He was also extremely difficult to communicate with, as he did not speak a work of English and used his phone as a translator.

We would never have spent $2700 to clean our roof if we'd know they were not going to do anything to protect the landscape. Guardian did credit us $250 for the clean-up, but we would have much preferred they had done what they had proclaimed to do to protect our property.

Recently reroofed our church building. Pricing was very good, and both office and field workers were professional. Job was completed timely and with high quality. Had small issue with unique gutter installation, and they were quick to change it as needed. Highly recommend

Brandon came out to provide an estimate and was on time, friendly and provided a quote within 15 minutes. Appreciate the fast service and responsiveness.

The worst experience working with a contractor in my entire life. Customer service is awful. Unable to provide answers or solutions to simple questions like, “can you give me a rough timeline for when you guys can get out to repair the roof.” Their response was, “We’re not sure, but we will call the day before.” 6 days later… they called at 5:00pm and said they would be there at 8:00am the next day. I had to call and ask for photos of the work completed the next day, the didn’t send them when it had be completed as is normal. Also, extremely overpriced. If you want a better experience, do not use these guys.

We’ve been customers for over a decade due to their professionalism so it was easy to decide to use them when repairing broken shakes wasn’t enough and we needed a whole new roof. The crew worked hard from first light until dark every day, even in the (fortunately light) rain. With the limited daylight in December they didn’t quite finish on Friday, so there they were first thing on Saturday morning to wrap up the job. Great cleanup too.

I knew I needed a gutter cleaning and repair and had already gotten a couple of quotes from other companies. Eli was friendly and professional, and went above and beyond by also informing me of moss damage occurring on my roof that needed attention. This had not been mentioned to me before and I could not see it from ground level. I was shown a video from the technician's perspective so I could see the areas of concern for myself. I can't yet speak to the quality of their work but they made a great first impression

Mike was prompt. efficient and detailed in his assessment of our roof. We will be using you for our cleaning on our home and the repairs on our rental Mike looked at recently.

I can't say enough good things about this company! Blake came out for an estimate and spent over an hour looking at our roof (even going up and taking a video of the conditions), educated us about roofing materials and processes, and information about the company. We were sold and days later have a beautiful new roof AND gutters! The company communicated with us every step of the way, sent out a supervisor to inspect the job before signing off, and provided us with 50 photos of the job from start to finish, showing every area they worked on. AND the price was much less than we'd anticipated. Everyone on the crew was great. They got the work done quickly and left the property tidier than they found it. I highly recommend Guardian for roof AND gutters.

Guardian Roofing provides a thorough bid with all the gadgets, but more importantly their technician team talks to you as an equal and you can tell they care. We have a leaking roof in October. They have a full plan to stop the leak and to perform the work in a safe manner. We are grateful for their time and expertise. Make sure you get a bid from this company before you pick your roof work. Andrew seriously rocks! He came around my work schedule and then returned at 7 at night to go over the bid and answer all our questions. Thank you!

Drew was very thorough. He took the time to explain the entire process of what would take place, once the crew was on sight. He put my mind at ease as far as the product they use verses baking soda which is something I’ve used for many years. I’m looking forward to having our roof treated within a couple of weeks.

We'd a great experience with Tanner. He was extremely polite and professional. He gave a very thorough gutter and roof inspection then showed us the video of our gutters and roof, so we could see for ourselves. Tanner asked a lot of detailed questions and offered us 3 options for repair or replacement. He even gave us some privacy to decide what's best for our needs. We would highly recommend Guardian and suggest asking for Tanner!

Great company with great folks. Justin is awesome! He is honest. Takes the time to go over all projects. Helps get great financing. Works with office staff and financing department to ensure everything is set up and goes right. Takes pics to show you what’s going on with existing structures and problems that could arise. I’m pretty well versed and know about consequences of not taking care of things, but all the same, he’s detailed and still covers everything well and educates. You can tell he’s done the actual construction work and has the knowledge, even though he’s in sales now. In regards to the contractors, if there’s a problem, you can call them and they’ll send a contractor out and they do thorough work and will make sure you’re well taken care of. It’s also nice you can get them out quickly to start projects. They work quickly, but make sure it’s done right. I’m working with them for a second time now, and I highly recommend Guardian Roofing and Gutters for any and all jobs you need done.

Dallas came out for the inspection and repair quote of a roof leak. Wow. If the work is done at the level Dallas gave us, we will be extremely happy. Dallas is professional, thorough and such a great first contact with Guardian. We were very impressed!

Great experience with Guardian! We recently bought our home and wanted to get a better idea of what state our roof was in. Nathan came out and not only did a very thorough inspection of the roof but sat with us for hours, patiently explaining the state of our roof and what the next decade looked like for us. We decided to move forward with some necessary repairs and maintenance and Guardian was great - from scheduing to the actual work and the continued follow-up. We look forward to working with Guardian on all our roof needs moving forward!

Afterwards, he used photos of the roof area to show us what had caused the leaking and photos of the corrective methods he had his team install to prevent the issue in the future.
