Guardian was a terrific roofing contractor to work with from the estimate, negotiation with the insurance company, to completion of the new roof. Great communications and quality work using quality products. Very please with Guardian! Completed the entire project in one day including new sheeting and left the area cleaner than it was before they arrived! Would highly recommend using Guardian for your roofing needs!!

Guardian Exteriors replaced my roof with Owens Corning Duration Flex Shingles. David quoted promptly and scheduled promptly when I approved his quote. They came out as scheduled, started early and they worked hard until finished. They did a good job and were careful about keeping the job site clean and protected. Good customer communication. I would recommend Guardian Exteriors.

Great service from start to finish. Getting an estimate was smooth and quick and the job was scheduled and completed fast. I was also given updates as the project progressed. 10/10 would hire again and of course recommend.

Guardian responded quickly to my call for help with wind damage to my roof. I was concerned that forecasted storms and rain could further damage my roof and possibly let rain water into the house. He was very careful to safely climb the steep slope roof to find and repair the damaged and missing shingles before any further damage could be done. Really cool guy who knew his stuff about my complicated roof system. So thankful to see quality service is still strong with amazing firms like Guardian Exteriors! Highly Recommended!

David Lee and his crew came out to reflash our chimney and replace some roof decking and shingles from a leak near our chimney. He was very quick to respond. I used to be a home inspector, so I am very particular about the work done on my home. David Lee was very professional, kind, and thorough. His cost for the repair was also one of the most reasonable of any quotes I had recieved from other businesses. He explained everything he did and provided pictures throughout the process. They were wrapped up in a day and they did a great job. It's great to have a local company that does quality work you can count on.

I'm going to give a review that couldn't be paid for if you wanted it. These guys were so fast and so professional and the workmanship was second to none the roof is amazing the number of workman there were so many that they were able to knock out a double gabled house and a single gabled garage between the hours of 8:00 and 3:00. When I got home I could not tell anybody had been there the yard was clean there was one guy finishing up some stuff and that was it. They also had to do a back patio roof that was steel they arrived with everything they needed and left us with no mess. They even did us one better than the original installers on that metal roof on the back patio. I wish our neighborhood let us put out signs for the companies that do work because I would let that sign sit year round for these folks. Thanks guys I wish I was there to hand out some beers at the end of the day but they were gone so fast I didn't even get a chance to thank them.

March 31st 2025. We recently had a pretty large piece of siding torn off of our home during a storm and some high winds. The damage was at the peak of the wall. My ladder was 21ft and would not reach. I borrowed a neighbor’s ladder that was 26ft. Still would not reach. I finally decided try to get on top of the roof and hang over the side to repair it against my better judgment. I was able to screw the loose piece down to keep it from banging against the house keeping my family awake. We had another storm set to come in two days from the first one. I was concerned that eventually water would get into our walls. In a mad scramble, I was making calls to various roofing/ siding companies in the indianapolis area. I was told next week, three weeks, a thousand dollar minimum for repairs and other excuses. I finally got ahold of Dave at guardian exteriors and the game changed. At 2:09pm I told Dave what I was up against. He asked me to send him a photo of the damage and what my location was. He asked if i had any extra pieces of siding and i did. I provided Dave with the requested info. He went to work calling his crews to see if anyone would be available to make the repair on their way home. Dave called me back and told me someone would be at my home around 6:30pm. 630 rolled around and repair man Zach and his partner arrived. I’m sure they they had already had a long day, but were friendly and not only completed the repair, but also made me aware of a small hole in another panel. After a long day and an after hours repair, Zach stayed a little longer to fix that as well. Dave never tried to sell me anything i didn’t need. He worked to help me repair my home in a cost effective and extremely timely manner. I am grateful to Dave at guardian and crew for their honesty, hard work and craftsmanship. This has been a great experience and I highly recommend you give Guardian a shot.

Very nice husband and wife couple. The thing I liked best: They were interested in doing the job right. I had hail hits. Not really any damage. They spent 1/2 hour checking my roof. They were not interested in making any phony claims. Straight up honest.

Dave and his team were very skilled, communicated through the process, and offered fair pricing. They were careful with the clean up process and left the area in great condition. I've already asked them to quote a bigger project for fascia, soffit and exterior trim replacement. Support a local and veteran, and you'll be glad you did.

I cannot say enough positive affirmations about David and Kelsey. We were expecting to spend tens of thousands on a new roof and exterior work of our home in New Palestine. I called David and he scheduled it for the next day and arrived 15 minutes early. He introduced himself and was inquisitive of our wants and needs. He then began a thorough one hour inspection. After which, he informed us of hail and wind damage on our roof and gutters. He then began the claims process for us through our insurance and handled it entirely, including meeting the adjuster. We only had to pay out deductible, and not the $20,000 plus we initially thought. Guardian was extremely transparent, honest, and performed all quality work. We couldn’t be happier.

Guardian Exteriors recently completed a re-roof on a shed and a major repair on a "Hardy Plank" Chimney. The outcome was excellent and there was not so much as a scrap left in my yard or deck. I dealt with David Lee and I find him knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest. (I had put half down when I signed the contract, but the work was delayed due to weather. I wasn't concerned that he had my down payment money without the work being started, but he was. IMO, that is rare.) I also have a plethora of other issues, and he went through many of those with me to identify logical solutions, and others he addressed on the spot, no charge. My take home message from that was he really cares about his customers. While the name implies this company only deals with exteriors, it does more than that. Don't hesitate to reach out to them for interior restoration and other projects. If I could give this company 10 stars, I would, but all Google allows is 5.

AWESOME JOB!! We moved into an older house recently that has needed some work done. One thing I forgot about as it's gotten colder was the roof. I called Guardian because of their great reviews and the reviews did not lie. I got great communication, a great quote and a great job done by David Lee and his crew, who came out in freezing cold weather to help us out with the leak around our chimney. Dave inspected our entire roof and let us know of any issues, got the job done quickly and even came out afterwards to follow up and make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. You rarely see service like this. I can't say enough good things about David Lee and Guardian Exteriors.

When they would call me I would put him on a three way call with them and told them he was going to do the talking for me. They did not want to pay for my whole roof but he fight them with me every step and keep telling them code. We did win and this company did a great job. On September 27th during the aftermath storms from Hurricane Helene we had a tree fall on home. We found the Awesomest Contractor Mr David Lee owner of GUARDIAN EXTERIORS.
Mr Lee was there from the day after we filed our claim until all the repairs were done met with our adjuster to make sure the adjuster got all that was needed to be repaired. After the estimate came in Mr Lee made sure all of the repairs were on the estimate(new roof, Vinyl sidding,
gutters, & repair our fence). If something was missing he made sure our insurance made it right.
When repairs were started Mr. Lee was there to make sure repairs run smoothly from beginning till the last repairs were finished. My husband & I we so excited because it was like nothing happened. Even our fur baby we excited to have his yard back.

I can’t thank David enough for going to bat with our insurance over the damage sustained to our roof, gutters and downspouts. I happen to have one the hardest insurance companies to get settlements from and yet my entire roof, gutters and downspouts were covered thanks in every way to David’s relentlessness. David made the entire process painless for me. He met with our insurance companies adjusters several times in the process to outline the damage and show the adjusters exactly what needed to be replaced. David’s experience in dealing with insurance companies and his knowledge of the Indiana code allowed me to remain stress free until I was approved.
Once insurance approved the replacement of everything David’s team immediately got to work. They were neat, completely respectful and worked non stop until every aspect of the project was complete and I was 100% satisfied.
If you aren’t sure if the past storms did any damage to your roof I highly recommend you at least allow David at Guardian Exterior to look. I had no idea our roof had ANY damage and yet every side of the roof , gutters and downspouts needed to be replaced and was covered by our insurance company.

I happened to need some new gutters and some caulk work done to my windows before winter got here. So I went onto Yelp as I’ve done before and was contacted very quickly, which has never happened before when I’ve used yelp, but I was contacted probably within 20 minutes. Guardian Exteriors actually came out the same day and quoted me a job. They were able to start it just a few short days later as well as complete the job the same day.

I sent out request for bids to install gutter filters for my house and Guardian Exterior was one of a handful of companies that came back with a quote. The company owner David worked with me personally and the quote came within range of other quotes. However, the material he offered and the crew he hired to install the filters were a cut above everyone else. The filters were installed in less than an hour. And at the end I was shown photos that were taken during installation. I was very impressed with how well they did the job at such short time. These guys are real pros.
