Well, I have to say that this company's warranty is for real!!! My neighbor referred me to Gryphon Roofing back in 2020 .. recently had a leak (honestly not sure if it originated from my flat roof and/or parapets, scuppers). It was my year to replace my roof. I knew as much from the litany of roofing company representatives that would come and knock on my door. I obtained several estimates after getting my initial estimate from Gryphon. I provided that estimate to each of the companies and Gryphon had the most competitive bid out of all of them. After a recent storm I noticed a roof tile had slid down onto our walkway. Gryphon had installed our roof 15 years ago and everything has held up great to this point so I decided to give them a call for a roof inspection. They quickly found me on file and sent out Brooks to perform an inspection who was on time and friendly. After walking down the roof he was happy to tell me everything looked great and it was just the one tile that had come loose, which he was able to quickly replace. I asked him much I owed and he said not a cent and was just happy to know I was pleased with their workmanship.

I couldn’t be more happy with Gryphon’s customer service and there is a reason they have been in business so long. If you are on the hunt for a new roof, I wouldn’t hesitate to give Gryphon a call.

I needed my roof replaced and called Gryphon Roofing to get an estimate. The office staff was super easy to work with and had Brooks my sales guy contact me a couple of days later. He did a complete inspection of the roof and went over all of the details with me of what needed to be done. He was able to give me a written estimate on the spot and I was able to get the job scheduled a few days later. The crew that did the roof work were amazing. They were supervised by Damian who was on-site several times during the two-and-a-half-day process. Damian was great to work with. He explained every detail of the job as it moved along and kept me informed during the entire process. He answered all my questions and was super to work with the entire time. I had a few cracked tiles, but Damian was able to find tiles to match and kept the job moving forward. The entire crew did a great job cleaning up during and after the roofing job was completed. Everyone was very easy to work with and communication was great. I was impressed by how professional everyone was the entire time. It was a great team, highly professional, awesome communication, friendly and experienced. They truly deserve a five star rating. I would highly recommend using Gryphon Roofing if you are in need of a roofing repair or full roof replacement.

Patrick was an incredible person! Super personable, was attentive and really heard me and my needs. He has great customer service and was extremely patient with working with me to ensure i would get the right solution. June 2025 UPDATE

What's fair is fair. We developed a small leak on the ceiling near the fireplace. Called Gryphon and they dispatched Luis two days later. He showed up on-time. Surveyed the ceiling and promptly went to work. He spent 3 hrs removing sealing and examining all areas around the fireplace. Very polite, professional and at this time no additional leaks.

I have been very critical of Gryphon, but I am fair and honest. The service call was excellent and very much appreciated.

May 2023 UPDATE-
Our clothes dryer stopped working. Vent cleaning company found roof tiles debris blocking vent. Another gift from Gryphon!

April 2023 update-
Nearly half of the homes in our area have replaced the tile roofs and/or underlayment. Every home done by companies other than Gryphon look perfect. Tiles are aligned property and correct placement of roof vents. Not mine.

December 2022 update-

A Tile fell off the roof today. I'll fix it myself and save all the aggravation. Still finding rusty nails 14 months later.

August 2022-Stepped on rusty nail today. Went through my shoe and into my foot. See photo below. The gryphon gift keeps on giving!
May UPDATE:
First dip into my pool and almost stepped on a rusty roofing nail! Nails are still everywhere.
Ask for real references and go look at the work. Most of the positive reviews are most likely their friends asked to write on Google. I purposely waited 6 months following the work to provide an honest emotionless review. I had my red clay tile roof (Underlayment) replaced in October 2021. I will share my experiences and FACTS of Gryphon workmanship and working relationship.

Positives:
They did eventually show up although after three months of waiting and no contact they arrived 3 days after the scheduled date.

We had three rains since although not monsoon and no leaks. Which is good.

If you like nails and garbage thrown around your home this is the right company for you.

Negatives:
Nobody on the job speaks English. These crews are brought in from south America with very little training or experience. During the estimate Brooks was quick to tell me everything they DON'T do and what is not included. The contract is very one sided. Read it first. Pre-liens are there standard operating procedure even though they have half the money well in advance. Replacement Skylights ordered were the wrong size. This was discovered after the roof was removed. They did offer to order the correct size and rip up the new roof to install. I declined as this would probably lead to future leaks which the contract says is my fault. Nails everywhere. I suffered two flat tires. After 6 months I am still picking up nails. During skylight removal and roof install they didn't cover the hole in the roof as broken tiles, mortar and nails were raining in my living room. Apparently this is normal. Nails and broken tiles dropping on my new running A/C unit and I could hear the impact of the debris on the fan and hitting the outside coil assembly. Incomplete attach of roof vents- dryer vent no longer works correctly. Kitchen range hood damaged by debris dropped into vent pipe. Tile stacking was a complete joke. One tile fell off the roof. The rest were all cockeyed and my house looked like an eyesore. Photo's are available if anybody wants to see.

They did send a crew back a few times to re-work what they could but its still looks like crap. Half the houses in my area have re-roof done and not one looks this bad.

I checked with the ROC and BBB in addition to Google reviews. I think the owner and employees must be writing all these glowing reviews because the work I had done doesn't live up to what the reviews claim. I suspect company has employees filing many five star reviews.

Owner claims I am too picky. I guess for $25,000+ I expect tiles to be aligned properly and not look a clown house.
