Green O was very good, pleasant to deal with and responsive to specific needs. They provided four different options for my son’s flat roof replacement until they came up with an option that worked best for us. There was some miscommunication between their man on site and us, but Green O honored the original terms of the contract which I feel is a sign of a high quality company..

I had a difficult 120 ft. long City of Vancouver sewer excavation and hook up, with the final groom and foundation dig out included in the project. This included all the permits and inspections. Gabriel and the crew were awesome. They were very professional and provided needed extra work for us at a very fair price. I would highly recommend this company.

Great experience! Gabriel is very knowledgeable and helpful. Nice, friendly, respectful workers (important to a single mom). Quality work at a great price and very timely. Helped me make decisions when I couldn’t decide.

I hired them to paint the house, replace a small fence, replace some siding, and a few interior misc jobs. During the power washing to prep for paint, Gabriel pointed out issues with my windows (which I already knew but hadn’t done anything about) and offered to add it to the work order for a good price. Window replacement started the following day. When they were almost done with the original work, I asked if they could also replace the roof. He was able to start on the roof the following week. At the end of each day, he would come to the door and give me a recap of everything that was done that day and an agenda for the following day.

I’m moving to a new home next week, and have already had Gabriel in to measure and help create my next to-do list/estimate for new flooring, painting, kitchen cabinets, baseboards, interior doors and some misc outdoor projects. I’ve recommended him to several friends who have also had him in to do work on their homes.

Gabe and his crew are professional, hard working, and friendly. I will continue to go back to him for future projects.

Green O Construction did good work on my project, they finished the work ahead of time and on budget. They were able to use some materials I already had at my site so help in some savings.

I contracted with Gabe to replace the roof on my house that I had just purchased back in October of 2019. His gang did a wonderful job on the roof and cleaned up nicely around the house. I have not had any problems with the roof. Gabe was great to work with and very accommodating to my schedule. Recently my skylight sprung a leak and he came out and fixed it quickly. I am a very happy customer!

I started a project with Gabriel and he seemed very honest and upfront. He asked for half of the bid amount which I paid. I totally understand with the Covid -19 there would be gaps and times where he wouldn’t be able to be here but this project began in early February and we are now in late may. He wont respond to messages or answer phone calls. When i did contact him he said he broke my glass shower and was working other projects to get money to buy another. The main thing i asked of him was good workmanship and transparency. The work thats been done is ok but he hasn’t returned to complete the work and he wont respond. If he cant finish just let me know and give me my money back. Very upset its come to this.

Hired to do
sidewalk on South and West side of property. South sided. Looked like person with parkinson's did finishing. West side slab was poured during a rain storm because the city gave us the property owners a violation stating that Gabriel Horta (Green O Construction owner) chopped tree root before scheduled inspection of the tree roots. I don't know how they got his name on the violation but he tried to get the job done before the due date of the remedy of having to take out the damaged tree and replanting the tree. The violation I still have and would have been charged thousands of dollars until remedied so I had to pay $3,132 to fix the violation. Since Green O Construction wasn't fixing the damage they had caused. In fact they made it worse: the crew rushed around in a rain storm before the due date to fix the violation.
The slab was poured with the underside being partially washed out with concrete coming out in the yard and boulevard. The side has already started to crumble on the edge where it started being washed out

Green O Construction was an absolute delight to work with from beginning to end! Gabe Horta in particular is a true professional!! He squeezed me in at the last minute, and gave an honest and fair quote for our roof project.

We are in the midst of selling our home, and are on a tight timeline to have repairs done. Gabe was unbelievably accommodating, and made every effort to get the work done within just a couple days. He is obviously very knowledgable about roof work, but also many other areas of construction. He also helped with a last minute request for the repair of a door frame with some wood rot. I cannot recommend him highly enough. This world needs more people like Gabe Horta...trustworthy, reliable, a strong work ethic and incredibly kind!

Would be 5 stars if communication was better about start days and times, but the work was great and completed.

Gabe, was always polite and attentive to my minor fence reset to detach fence from being screwed into siding to stand alone supported by new posts as this presented a problem with
a siding company who did not want the responsibility for removing and reinstalling and would have meant the fence being down for extended time to include painting home and with 3 dogs, security and their access to playing in my yard during summer month is paramount. .
His simple solution even included an easy fix if the space allowed for replacing the siding was for some unseen reason too narrow so that I could remove a single fence picket w/o damaging the picket and reattach Done on both side of home.. Gabe was smart enough to know a small project done and priced well leads to future jobs. Consulted with me on any changes during the work, asked if there was anything else he could help with after he finished project.
His staff made changes when I was concerned with an alternate solution. Answered many questions and never expressed impatience nor did I feel rushed with any questions. As a single female this is extremely important and I will consult with Green O Construction on my next project... siding and with any other project for which Green o is qualified to do.

Extremely poor work. I was out of town when they were hired to do a leak repair to a large, flat commercial roof. They told my wife the whole roof needed replaced. She did not fall for it. They used a silicone roof sealer to try to stop leak. Didn't clean area prior to application. Product did not adhere to the roof. Gee, I wonder why? Roof still leaked. When I was finally able to address the situation in July, I could see they had simply dumped the two five gallon bucket of silicone sealant on the roof forming a large puddle of semi dried product/mess. They even left their garbage on the roof - out of sight, out of mind. After spending several hours cleaning up their amateur roofing mess, I re-coated the roof with proper preparation and care. What do you know, no leaks. They charged $1,100.00 for a piss poor job that did not solve the problem. Maybe you'll have a better experience with them.

Excellent knowledge on roofing and products. I worked on behalf of my client to remove old roof, install new roof and gutters. The finished product was great; happy clients! Definitely will recommend.
