I called Gilbert and sons roofing to get an estimate to repair a roof leak. They told me that they would charge $150 to give me an estimate. The $150 would be applied to the repairs if I was to agree to the estimate. The gave me an estimate for nearly $5000. It included doing some maintenance and re-stuccoing the chimny. I thought that was too high. So i asked about just fixing the leak. They took off $800. I declined the repairs at that price and offered $2500 total which I thought was fair. They declined and politely told me to have a nice day. I called another roofing company to have the leak repaired. The estimate was $2500. I felt after this experiance that Gilbert and sons is in the business of giving estimates not roofing.

With Gilbert & Sons you'll get the most prompt, honest, and high quality service. Anthony helped me in a pinch. With no notice, he went out of his way to take a look at my roof issues and provided immediate solutions to remedy the problems. I've dealt with a couple other roofers in Las Cruces, and this is by no means a dig on any of them, but none compare to the service and work I've seen Gilbert & Sons provide. They will be my go to when it's time to replace my roof. They've also done stucco work in the past, which was done on time, on budget, and looks brand new over two years later. Nothing but honesty, integrity, and efficiency with this company. Easily the best in Cruces.

Where should I start!? There are not enough stars I could give Gilbert & Sons Roofing and Stucco. I had some roof damage due to bad weather and a mediocre roofing job that was done in 2019. Unfortunately, we had previously decided to go with a cheaper roofing company from El Paso and that was a HUGE mistake. Always remember you get what you pay for. This time around I was looking for a company with the best reviews in town so, I decided to go with Gibert & Sons. Trust and believe they did not disappoint and I could'nt be happier. Anthony went above and beyond to say the least! We all know how painful it can be to deal with insurance companies/claim repair adjusters and the entire process in general. Anthony walked me through everything and explained the process accurately and thoroughly. It was my first time having to submit a claim for this type of damage and I couldn't be more grateful for having Anthony by my side. Anthony is professional, thorough, communicative, knowledgeable, and takes pride in his company. This company is way above standard. Even though you have to pay for an estimate it is very much worth it. They did a wonderful job of repairing our roof and the estimate cost came off the bottom line when it came time to pay. The company has great people working for them. Went through hell with first roof from builder then a horrible contractor from El Paso, roof leaked into interior. Thankfully I called Gilbert and Sons and all I can say is positive things from start to finish. Quality work seen and witnessed first hand. After struggling with an eyesore foam roof for years we had Gilbert & Sons complete a shingle roof.  We could not be happier it gave new life back to our home and made us fall in love with it again! Anthony was prompt and professional from start to finish and the same can be said for his crew.  They were on time friendly and most important took care to not damage the landscaping.  They would clean up each day as if it was their last day on the job to negate any debris getting blown around on some very very windy days. First things first. We sent Gilbert and Sons a request to inspect our stucco, to which they responded the next day. That was our first indicator that this was a competent, responsive company. Our impression was affirmed when they showed up to do the inspection when they said they would. As we walked around the house, Mr. Perez gave us a detailed explanation as to the issues with the stucco, which were not critical. We also asked him to perform a roof inspection. He identified and photographed several problem areas that warranted preventative intervention. We had the work done, which was done on the days and times promised, and provided detailed photographs which clearly showed that the problem areas had been addressed thoroughly and professionally. Throughout the process, Mr. Perez emphasized that his is a family business that relies on customer satisfaction and that conducts itself on a principled work ethic. This is a fine gentleman, with whom we developed an easy rapport and trust. We highly recommend this company.

The reviews here live up to the expectations! After calling around, I went with Gilbert and Sons for hail damage on my roof. Right away I can tell this guy was all about quality and making sure I understood everything, and on top of that he wanted me to be there every step of the way so I always knew exactly what was going on. Our roof had leaks with the storm that came through during the monsoon season and the same day I called to notify them about the leak they responded and came to the house within an hour to repair it. Gilbert and Sons recently re-roofed our home and did an outstanding job! Anthony walked us through the entire process and was very patient in answering all of our questions and providing honest recommendations. He was also very responsive and delivered the services we discussed within the timelines we agreed to. His employees were on time, respectful, and hard working. One of the men actually worked longer one day just so the crew would not have to come back the next day to finish the job. There were thousands of nails that fell on the ground around our house when the old roof was removed. However, Gilbert and Sons put tarps down prior to the demolition to catch as many as possible. Additionally, someone went around our house with a magnet to pick up as many more as possible. This was much appreciated to avoid flat tires on our cars or worse, someone stepping on one. Anthony handled all the paperwork with the county for us but kept us in the loop throughout the process via email, text, and phone calls. The work itself was superb as they used the best possible materials and the employees were experts. All the shingles, ridge caps, and transitions are straight and seams and transitions sealed with perfectly straight lines and covered with matching roof granules for a finished look. I have personally noticed other houses around town that lack this attention to detail and feel that the work Gilbert and Sons did will increase the value of our home and curb appeal! Anthony also came back after the job was complete to verify the work was done properly and to our satisfaction.
