Mitchell Commons ll in Schaumburg is very happy that we went with Great Lakes Roofing and Siding to cover our 31,000 sq. ft. flat roof with silicone. Kim and Dave were very diligent to make sure the coverage was done properly and in fact put down more than 100 gallons of silicone than our agreement. They were very easy to work with and did a great job. We would definitely recommend Great Lakes Roofing and Siding.

Dave and Rick were very helpful and knowledgeable. They dealt with the insurance company 100%. Everything was done as promised and on time. All evidence of a crew working on the roof was cleaned up. The new roof has been on my house about 8 months now and there have been no issues with it. I recommend this company and would use them again.

Great Lakes worked with me and my insurance to replace my roof after storm damage. They did a great job and the work was done timely, professionally and sales team were very helpful!

Dave and Rick were very professional - they worked directly with my insurance company (as a licensed Public Adjuster) to file my claim, show the adjuster where my roof had been damaged from hail and follow up with my insurer (relentlessly) to ensure I received the money I deserved. All while keeping me in the loop along the way.

The team helped me to choose the perfect new roof from a large variety of available options and did a great job on the install - had it finished in a day!

When the job was done the team worked with my insurance company to make sure I receive the final depreciation payment.

We've built several houses over the years and can always trust Kim at Great Lakes Roofing and Siding to get the job done.

Roof was left with a large ridge down the middle and the shingles are buckling and look uneven. The company came out to take a look at the roof and continues to deny that the job was done incorrectly. We just wanted a job well done but we are very dissatisfied by the lack of customer service. Please consider other companies before this one. It may save you many future headaches.

Update: We were told that all the plywood was replaced, so the should be no old plywood remaining. If we were told that it all had to be replaced, we would have agreed seeing as it is structurally important.

Also, it’s been less than a year and the roof is leaking into the house. Our furnace has sustained WATER DAMAGE and has to be replaced as a result of the leaking roof put in by Great Lakes Siding & Roofing.

Please DO NOT put your trust in Rick or Kim or anyone at this company. They will pressure you to get your roof replaced before then end of the year so they can drive their sales up. It’s obvious they do not care about the customer. After reaching out for help, they refused to fix the roof. The entire process was rushed and done incorrectly. We deeply regret using their services.
