We just finished up a screened porch project with Grand Construction and Rabih Hamze. I would enthusiastically recommend and endorse their work. The contractor was able to start the project ahead of the originally projected date. They even came on Sunday over Presidents’ Day to get prepped and deliver materials.
The work crew was extremely reliable and hard-working. Rabih kept us in the loop and communicated with us on any issues involving timeline, materials, inspections, etc. We’ve had a various home reno projects in Woodland Pond over the past 10 years– – family room remodel, master bath remodel, kitchen remodel – – that were absolute nightmares.
They ended up costing much more than the contractor’s quote and taking multiple times the time that the contractor forecasted. We have been scorched so often by this experience, my wife and I half-jokingly referring to local contractor projects as “The Chesterfield Way” when it came to the trades.
I can emphatically state that Rabih Hamze and Grand Construction was NOT in that pattern. Work crews showed up daily. They exhibited a high degree of diligence and craftsmanship. We were kept informed of any issues that affected either the cost or the timeline. They finished the job ahead of schedule, and on budget. They were a delight to work with!
