Gouge really is a quality contractor. They communicated when they were coming to look at the roof, told us who would be coming, called when they were on the way to do the repairs, on the scheduled date. The repair work was done well and for a fair price. We would 100% recommend them for your roofing needs. Excellent experience with a great company!

Needed a leak fixed. Not the best time to have it done with the weather like it's being. Quote was done within days and accepted. Work was completed in a reasonable time with this weather and I'm very happy with the workmanship, price and friendly associates. Will be the first I call with roofing needs. I'd seen their signs around-even next door, so asked my neighbors for their experience, the words were glowing. But, my cousin's home was in Springfield, Ohio.

Gouge said they'd service our location. It was needing repair due to storm damage to roofing tiles and time damage (built 1962). They were patient with insurance and a ridiculous reverse mortgage company. Their concern for doing job right added value to the home now under contract.

This is wordy, I know, but the challenges were many and their empathy and quality standards were greatly appreciated. And, have paid off.

Caleb and his crew did a topnotch job. They were asked to correct a poorly done job and did it with quality workmanship. He and is crew are very professional and conscientious in their work. Our new metal roof and siding they corrected make our home look tremendous. I’m a stickler for great customer service and they did not fail me.

I met with Matt Notestone (salesman for Gouge Quality Roofing) to get an estimate on our roofs. He was very professional & went over every detail of what they would do. Having been in & around the trades for over 40 years I knew what he was telling me was the correct way to do the roofs. He sent me a 27 page detailed portfolio of the Gouge company, their warranty, pictures of our roofs (I keep saying roofs because our detached garage is as big as our house) detailed list of what they will do (including on site continuous inspections by their foreman) shingle colors & manufacturer warranty, cleanness of the site & detailed costs. Needless to say they did everything exactly as he said they would. The cost was exactly as quoted. They did both buildings in 8 hrs & left our place clean of debris & nails. I wish I could give them more than 5 ⭐️’s. Great job Gouge Quality Roofing. One very satisfied customer!!!

Everyone I spoke to at Gouge was extremely helpful and kind. Matt had come to assess damage to my gutters and soffit, and he was nice enough to work with my budget and schedule. I 100% recommend Gouge Quality Roofing. My neighbors shed burned down and damaged my siding. I had another contractor come out and they gave me bad advice on dealing with the insurance. Gouge came out and gave me a very reasonable quote. They ordered the siding and in no time at all were out to replace it. They got the job done in 1 day and left a perfectly clean job site. Even my neighbor complimented on how good of a job they did. I also need a new roof. Guess who I'm going to call?

Overall I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Gouge Quality Roofing. They do an amazing job of communicating up to, during, and after the installation. I really appreciated the amount of information they provide about their materials selection, and the warranty options. They also helped tremendously with selecting a good color for the shingles. Leading up to the day of installation, they provided very helpful information regarding what to expect on the day of installation. Everyone on their team was very professional. And of course, the roof looks and functions amazingly. All in all, I highly recommend Gouge Quality Roofing to anyone considering replacing their roof.

Matt was awesome. Fixed roof furnace vent for free. Would recommend Gouge Roofing for sure. When asked if I needed a roof, instead of forcing it on me, Matt said that I still had some time left on it.

We recently had a leak on a drain pipe from under our rubber roof. Our roof was installed originally by Gouge Roofing about 10 years ago. We had them come out to inspect everything and figured out it was not an issue with the roof itself but the top of the drain pipe that meets the rubber roof from the underneath side. Although this was a plumbing issue and not an issue related to the roof install, Caleb was kind enough to take the time and seal the drain pipe to help us prevent any further leaks. He also inspected the rest of the roof and all seams to make sure the rest of the roof was in good condition. Thanks so much for taking care of us!

We just had our 2 homes roofed by Gouge Roofing and they were nothing but amazing. From the first day Jef came by to give us our estimate to the final clean up they were nothing but professional. I chose Gouge because of their professionalism & consistency. Yes, they are expensive but worth every penny! My house is almost 2000 sq ft and 100+ ft long, it took them less than a day and a half to complete my roof! AND they cleaned up nicely!

I had a new roof installed by Gouge Roofing in December. They installed the entire roof in only two days and worked on the weekend. The owner Caleb actually came to my house to do a post inspection. He noticed a couple areas that he felt were not to his company's standards and had his team come back out to remedy the problems. This was at no extra cost to me. He even decided to upgrade our house to a better fascia metal then what was initially installed. I trusted Gouge Roofing with my project and at the end, I was not disappointed. They have another satisfied customer to add to their books.

This was a difficult job that blindsided me late in the year with bad weather and extreme cold. So, Gouge had to wait for better weather which we got, albeit briefly, and they completed the job after a ten hour day. Alejandro is an excellent representative of this company. His team did not speak English but we got through that. They were thorough and professional. We still found a few nails but overall I would rate their performance and cleanup as excellent!

I reached out to Gauge roofing to have a leak around the chimney fixed. Matt came right out and provided an estimate along with photos of the issues. Gauge roofing came back out and replaced the flashing, added new shingles and check the wood for rot, leak fixed. Thanks again Matt and team.

Gouge Roofing did a whole house replacement for us in 2018, and did an excellent job, including cleanup, in one day. We recently noticed a small leak above out tankless water heater. Matt N visited promptly, diagnosed the problem, and arranged a proper repair, under warranty. The young man who performed the repair, called ahead of his arrival, and did a thorough job. They did a great job. The old roof was removed and the new roof was installed in two days. The crew left everything nice and tidy. Jeff did a great job of explaining everything to us.

I was impressed with Matt’s high level of professionalism. Matt was prompt to appointments. The knowledge base he has on roofing is impressive. Gouge only uses quality products with proper applications so the roof longevity will outlast cheaper roofs. They also send an inspector out at the end of the project to assure the roofing job upon completion meets their high expectations for the customer. Matt had a good eye for color when it came to helping us decide on a roof color that would accentuate our house the best. We recently had Gouge Quality Roofing replace our roof and they did a fantastic job. We had hail and storm damage and they were able to handle it very quickly to set up a date for it and had it completed with tear off and new roof in a day. We were highly impressed. We originally had Matt from Gouge roofing come last year. He gave us an honest evaluation of the roof, and told us that there was not a need to replace the roof immediately, but would need one soon. We decided that we would replace the roof this year and had Matt come back and give us a quote. We decided to go ahead with the roof replacement and were pleased that they scheduled us within a week. In the span of one day we had a new beautiful roof and they did such a good cleanup, you couldn’t even tell they were here. Gouge sent out someone to inspect the job within a week and fixed a few small things we didn’t even see. We are extremely impressed with Gouge Roofing. Three days for shingle and rubber roof replacement, including tear-off of original metal roofing under the 40 year old rubber and demo of an unused chimney… finished roof was perfect, clean up was thorough. Had I not witnessed the work, I would not have known how much had been done. We mowed the church yard the next day after completion and had nothing to pick up. Thank You for a well done project.
