Our experience with Gordon's Window Decor was outstanding. The sales rep who visited our home steered us to the perfect product for our needs. She was patient and what was promised was delivered. The installation Team was also outstanding - perfect job. GREAT job by all.

From the initial house call to finished install, Gordon's and the entire team were superb to work with. Friendly, professional, down to earth, real humans with connection to community and belief in quality product and topnotch customer service.

As for the shades themselves, I noticed better heat retention immediately as the temps started to dip outside. The shade profile is small, so no obscure view to worry about when you want your full window's light available. Can't recommend highly enough!

I have been buying shades from Gordon's Window Decor since 2007. They have been installed in 3 different homes that I owned. I love them. They help with keeping my house warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The sales staff is wonderful and the installers are patient and kind. I have even gave them as a gift. When my 6 year old twin grand daughter's were born in 2018 there was too much daylight in their room. So I ordered 3 room darkening shades from Gordons. They are still using them. Gordon’s sent us an experienced individual who met with me, discussed which shades we preferred and measured everything for our order. Then, when the shades were manufactured, our installer arrived and worked diligently, carefully and with awesome experience ! The showroom visit was our first experience purchasing shades and we were quickly put at ease by Sarah. She carefully explained the many features, options and choices, and provided samples to ensure a perfect match with our color scheme. Her patience enabled us to make our final choices with confidence. The wait time for delivery was reasonable, in fact shorter than expected. Collin, the installation technician, was courteous, professional, competent and meticulous. He was very patient in explaining the operation and features. We bought light blocking cellular shades for our bedrooms. Not inexpensive but they are very well made, very light blocking and Gordon's got us on their schedule so they would be installed before our first house guests arrived. I would definitely work with them again.

Process of getting a custom remote-controlled blind was easy. Sales associate stopped by to take measurements and then again with color swatches of fabric. Other communication was done via email. We are happy with the final product.

Every aspect of installing new blinds into our new home went smoothly. From the saleswoman Michele's first visit to pick out window decor, to the final installation went exactly as planned. Gordon's is the best company I have ever dealt with. I am recently severely disabled and needed a large remote controlled shade. Everyone I worked with through the process was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made sure everything was perfect, and followed up to inquire if everything was done to my satisfaction. And my new shade is beautiful.

I recently had a large window treatment project done by Gordon's Window Décor at my lake house in North Hero VT. Old drapes replaced by roller shades on lakefront with 8 large sliding glass doors and side panels! From beginning, with a home visit by Michele for measurements and consultation regarding options, to end... with installation by our awesome technician Collin, this job was seamless and professional ! We had to arrange the project for specific times as we live out of town in the off season. We recently built a new home on the lake, the entire lakeside of house is windows, many floor to ceiling. Michele was wonderful to work with, she patiently helped me make all the selections and made several site visits to ensure all the measurements were accurate! The installation team was punctual and professional. Operation of the remote motorized blinds was fully demonstrated. Communication between us, our builder and Gordan's was exemplary! Super happy with the shades. Noticeable improvement in the cooling of our home. Colors and opacity are perfect. Very high quality shades. Also happy that Michele convinced me to have YOU install them. Well worth it; your installers really knew their stuff, and saved me a lot of stress.

Every time I visit the shop I walk away thinking wow that is a group of cheerful knowledgeable professionals. Not exactly the feeling I get about the box stores…
I made an appointment for a consult and Barbara Bode showed up right on time…another Gordon professional. She had a ready smile, knew her product front to back, and had a designers eye that made working with her a treat instead of chore.
I had a hard time deciding and moved the goal posts three times trying to come up with a final decision. Barbara was infinitely patient, flexible and good humored with me throughout.
Bottom line: these folks are the real deal. I don’t see how you could do better. 5 stars!

She was on top of everything from start to finish, Ryan the installer made multiple trips and was so professional. Gordon’s Window Decor designed and installed our custom drapes in the bedroom, which are beautiful, and window shades on a curved wall in the living room. They were professional, timely, and very responsive, especially when one of the drapery panel hems needed resewing in order to hang perfectly. Barbara Bode expertly took the lead on this difficult project. I highly recommend Gordon’s Window Decor and will use them again in the future.

Can't say enough good things about Gordon's! We became familiar with their product from the SunCommon offices, super neat looking and effective.

The install crew (Ryan I believe? and Connor) were courteous, super flexible with timing, efficient, informative, and professional. During this pandemic, we've felt unsure about having work done on the interior of our house, but the crew came prepared, listened to our concerns, and acted accordingly. We were impressed by their work.

Overall the product is a life-changer. These new solar shades completely changed our living room and we couldn't be more happy. We don't pause to write reviews often enough but this one just had to be shared!

We have had wonderful service from Gordon's right from the start. 19 years ago when we moved into our condo we put their cellular shades on every window. Two times they replaced worn cords. Most recently a new header had to replace the old. The original shade was in good shape. Good materials!

Everyone i dealt with at Gordon's was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and just a pleasure to do business with. I had some problems with my blinds
and they fixed the problem and i could tell they genuinely felt bad there was an issue. I highly recommend Gordon's.

We had a home visit by Barb to help us determine the best type of 'window dressings' for our west facing windows. She was fantastic! so informed and helpful, was able to answer all of our many questions, and had samples and pictures ready to show me. They are both professional and personable--two qualities that to us are as equally important. Barb was our designer and we loved having her over to our home to help us choose window treatments. The free consultation is such a great way to learn about what would work best in your home, both aesthetically and functionally. It was also nice to be able to receive two estimates so that we could pick and choose which features fit into our budget. Even though our installation was set back a few months due to COVID-19, the staff continuously reached out to us to keep us informed of their plans. Once they did get the chance to conduct installations again, they contacted us right away to schedule an appointment in less than a week! Luke installed our window treatments; he was extremely efficient and attentive. We have had a wonderful experience with this company and we recommend them wholeheartedly!

I work in an office and one of our large cellular shades stopped working. The shades were purchased so long ago, that we couldn't find record of it, but Amy made getting the blind repaired incredibly simple and smooth. I dropped it off, and before I knew it the blind was repaired and ready to be picked up. Amy even offered to drop it off at my Williston office because she was going out anyway. Above and beyond, and incredibly appreciated!

Gordon's is my family's business so I can tell you first hand just how much they care for every client and how much time they spend perfecting their products. I have had EcoSmart Shades in my home for years. They truly save so much energy and help with privacy since I live in a busy condo development! I also feel so much more comfortable leaving my son home alone, as it is widely known that break-ins happen less often when a potential thief is unable to see into the home. Obviously I'm a bit biased but I truly believe in this product and highly recommend it!
