Key Chevrolet of White River

Brought my Bolt EUV in to replace a very loud wheel bearing under warranty at the guidance of my 3rd party mechanic. Dealership insisted it was not a wheel bearing and I needed to spend over $1000 on new pads and rotors for all four wheels.

It took a bit of pushing but they eventually got the car on a lift and confirmed it was indeed the wheel bearing and replaced it under warranty. In the end the work was done and the car is driving nice and quiet. However, I would hesitate before trusting their guidance and recommend finding a different mechanic.

Jesse was a great salesman. He walked me through my new car and the special/new features. I’m so glad I went through Key Chevy of White River.

I bought a Chevy from a different dealership, and their service department helped me figure out everything wrong with my car so I could get it fixed while it was still under warranty. They were really quick and all really friendly, they even saved me a lot of money in the long run. Seriously, shout out to all the guys in the service department!

Pleasantly surprised by this dealership, ended up here after finding they had more trucks than other dealers and was pleasantly surprised to not be called non stop after completing an online form. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant and helpful. We continued to have a much better experience than other dealerships when we came in, they were willing to work with us, and we had our 2 year old running around the place and they have a play room that was really handy. Highly recommend.

Service here is excellent. Purchased Tahoe Z71 here, great experience! Service is equally as good. Always speedy with excellent descriptive explanation of what and why.

I’ve gone to these guys a couple times in the past few years when my POS Buick Encore has had problems, and they were mostly decent. Always a little condescending and opaque about prices, but passable. But whoever is answering their phone at the service department has to be one of the most incompetent people I’ve ever spoken to. I know these big auto groups have no financial incentive to give a damn about customer service, but come on. It’s really not that hard to schedule an appointment.

In contrast, when I called a local mechanic to schedule service, they were prompt in answering the phone, and had a straightforward friendliness that I really appreciated. So support your local businesses and find an honest mechanic - do not schedule service with these fools at Key WRJ.

No pressure sale talked about options for extended warranty and gap insurance we opted not to do either one and there was no pressure to take them.

Erik at Key Chevy made the purchase of my first vehicle without a co-signer a breeze! He was quick with communication and made the entire process incredibly easy and painless. He took the time to make sure that I was happy with the deal I was getting and that everything was ready to go upon my arrival. Unfortunately a great dealership a few years ago has absolutely fallen. Sales team and service team both completely changed over and now they don’t answer the phone ever don’t respond to voicemails and get upset at the customers when they confront them about there lack of follow up and terrible customer service. Avoid purchasing and servicing your vehicle at KEY CHEVY.

I was on a 2000 mile road trip in my Corvette, when it developed a strange sound coming from the engine. I called Key Chevrolet in White River Junction VT, and the service manager, Mike, took me in as an emergency, diagnosed a failed water pump that was on the verge of a catastrophic failure, ordered the part for overnight delivery, and had the car fixed and road tested when he handed it back to me in the morning. I can’t say enough about his courtesy and competency. He made me feel special, and his dealership is like no other I’ve seen….personal, client focused, responsible, communicative, and efficient and best of all the service manager, Mike Simek, is a credit to Chevy and the dealership. I unreservedly recommend this company. Ed, proud Corvette ZR-1 owner back on the road!

I've been a Key customer for several years. I've always been completely happy with sales and service. Their knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy is without exception.

I was provided clarity about procedures and schedule. Clear notice of appointment was provided. Received a courtesy ride home when the team found a faulty air conditioning condenser. All is working well now.

Nothing like blowing over 1k on a wheel and it not fix the problem. Mechanics seem to be amateurs or incompetent, can't diagnose a problem, or don't try to actually fix anything, I don't really know for sure. Would never come back here ever again. Felt like a massive scam

If I could give no stars I would after today’s experience. Claimed to have done work that was not done and then when I brought it to the attention of the service rep I was told “if you don’t like our service don’t come back.” And that is a direct quote.
