George Gandy Insurance

This company only provides insurance in name only. When their insured hits somebody, they claim the policy is invalid and try to get the persons insurance that was hit to cover it under an uninsured motorist claim. I am reporting them to NIAC to have a full investigation done, as I don't feel safe driving around this town knowing people are "covered " by this fly by night sham of an insurance company. They need to be run out of town...

Don't bother with this company! They have such incompetent staff! I spoke Alecia 6 weeks ago and asked for her email so she could quote my upcoming renewal on July 19th with Liberty Mutual. I have 5 vehicles, my home and a 5th wheel. I emailed all of the declaration pages that day and have NEVER heard back. I even called an left a message and never heard back. Then, with the recent horrific hail storm, my daughter called to report her damage, only to find out from the company (not this agent) that their insurance was cancelled in November due to "Agent Error" because their incompetent staff wrote the wrong policy for a mobile home! These so called agents did not even notify her of the cancellation and now all of the hail damage (thousands of dollars worth) is not covered due to their agent error !After reading the reviews it seems they are well known for cancelling insurance and leaving the now uninsured unaware, having to take them to court to get it resolved. If I could rate them a zero, I would, and be sure to read all of the reviews as many of them are speaking about the same incompetence I am speaking of! If you are looking for insurance, stay far away from this company!

NEVER got a call back, after 4 contacts on various days, even when specifically told they would give me a call back. They were quick to bump up my rate when I told them I would be renting my property. When I called to have it lowered because I was no longer renting it, now it's a long drawn out process with forms and waiting for review to lower the rates. Pretty transparent.

The only insurance company i have ever trusted to get me the best quote and they are practicing all the covid 19 precautions. social distancing 1/3 capacity and masks must be worn at all times , they send me email alerts when my premium is due and all the ladies have always been real nice and helpful to work with.

The ladies here are always so nice and helpful. I believe they are mother and daughters and i love them. I enjoy when i go in and get to talk to them they always find me the best deal and make sure i understand everything 10 outta 10 recommend!

I saved about 300 bucks compared to my previous insurance when I paid for full six months. I feel a big relief now that I switched and regret not doing it sooner. The staff there were so helpful and made it an easy transition!

The ladies here know how to get you the best deal on insurance. They're super friendly and get you in and out of there in a timely & orderly manner.

My husband and I had Auto Insurance with George Gandy for quite a few years. We moved out of town and they raised our rates based on the town we moved to. In 2017 they canceled our car insurance policy for no apparent reason and I found out about it two years later because I got pulled over for a suspended registration because they canceled my insurance and did not tell us. Although they had canceled our policy they continue to take our online payments. I will never do business with George Gandy or Progressive Insurance again! When George Gandy Insurance was next to True Value Hardware in Alamogordo the lady there was nice courteous friendly professional very pleasant to do business with. After they moved and got a bigger office with more staff they became terrible at customer service. They were rude and they never returned calls. Multiple times they kept putting people on our insurance policy that we didn't even know! At least once a year we had to call them and ask them why this person was put on our policy. What a pain and scam! Never do business with Progressive and avoid George Gandy if it all possible.

i have full coverage insurance thru them we were involved in an accident not our fault just need some advice and they would not even talk to us or return our calls i think i need to shop for a different insurance because they will talk to us when we pay our premiums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
