Gateway RV Center

Went in for a quote for something (not for buying an RV) and felt like they really didn't want my business. Like I was a bother to them for asking for a quote. Just had numbers thrown at me (i.e. $200 for this, $300 for that, etc.), never given anywhere near a total amount or even anything written down. Guess if I'm not buying an RV, too, I'm not worth the time. Sad customer service.

Amazing customer service! Got us in the next morning for a fix of our roof vent. They only had time to fix our vent but when we mentioned our RV water pump wasn’t working, they made the time to fix it even when they were swamped! Got us back on our road trip in just over an hour!! You guys are angels thank you so much:)

When I called to make a appointment the lady that answered the phone didn't even take my name or number and said she would tell Dave I guess old habits are hard to change and they don't know how to fix stuff very good should have never had bought this trailer

Bought a new camper at an rv show. Took it out on its first trip and ran the furnace. Well the squirrel cage blew apart. Took the rv in to gateway the following Wednesday they had it warrantied and fixed in the same day. Thanks Dave and the gateway team. Super service

Needed a new toilet for our RV, called 20 min before close. They had one in stock, Even knew right off that the stock # had changed and the other one would fit.
Held it and waited for me to get there to pickup!!

I called on the phone looking for a specific part. The lady on the phone went to look for it, said they had it and had it ready on the counter when I got there.
And so pleasant to deal with!

No one wants things to go sideways when you are on a roadtrip, but if they do, you can only hope you are near Elko and can get an appt with Gateway!
Our brake indicator went on right as we were a mile from our 1st stop at Iron Horse RV. Most other mechanics we called had no availability and werent helpful, but Gateway was not only helpful on the phone, but got us in by moving a few things around. When we showed up Sarah knew right away what needed to be done. She took care and was super efficent in taking care of business! Even though we had to stay the night in a hotel, we were back on the road early the next morning. The office staff were knowledgeable and helpful as well.

Looking for a travel trailer but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Jessica was very helpful today answering questions for us while we checked out their inventory.

I bought a Cummins generator for my new travel trailer. It worked 2 days. No refund or exchange through gateway. I had to take to Cummins for warranty work. Cummings told me 1 to 6 mo. This generator is my only source of power for a trailer I spend 4 days a week in. Gateway could have cared less!

Made a mobile service appointment and the owner and general manager came out and explained my problem and told me what the solution was and did not charge me for all of 10 minutes maybe,whenever in Elko we will stop here for anything for our RV. We recommend Gateway RV Center for your RV stop in Elko Nevada.

We were on a 5 month tour of Nevada State Parks and our fridge stopped working on gas after about 3 weeks on the road. We called Gateway on a Wednesday and they had the parts and an opening on Friday. Got the trailer in and out same day. Works great. Thanks Gateway for saving our trip.

Needed a trailer breakaway switch and staff said they were too busy to even look at the switch outside to see if the one they had in the shelf would work. Also bought a dump trailer from Gateway and the pin came out of the hydraulic piston arm damaging the hydraulics and a year later the entire dump system electrically quit working. If you want quality customer service and products go to Twin Falls, ID and save yourself a headache.

We are so grateful for Gateway RV Center. We were incredibly clueless walking in there and they had answers, advice, and help for us newbies!

DO NOT GO HERE! The worst customer service ever! They are rude, incompetent, and WAY overpriced! Service manager has no clue what she is doing! (Actually told me to "Google it myself")10 weeks later and over $1000.00 over the quoted cost for repairs my camper was left in disarray and they refused to have someone go over the repairs with me.

Jessica was amazing to work with. Kept in touch with us the whole time. Came from Utah and would come again if we bought another trailer. Thank you for your kindness Jessica!

We had an electrical problem in our rv cabin. The crew at Gateway diagnosed and fixed it and we were back on the road in 30 minutes! Great service!

Friendly, really fair priced, had to leave a trailer behind on my way thru, they stored it for 2 weeks!!

If you are ever in need of RV repair in Elko NV, this is the place to go! We were just passing thru and needed our car break system fixed. The got us in right away even tho they are swapped. Very fast, reliable and great prices.

Be very wary. Lied to us, said MH was fixed. Then after paying our 250.00 deductible they gave us the sheet saying it was not fixed. So they made an appt for a week later. Said it was fixed, because of what happen the week before, my husband asked to talk to the person who fixed it to see what was done. First the manager told him no. After my husband insisted again, the manager let him talk to the person who fixed it. Then told my husband never come back here again. Very rude to us and obviously if something goes wrong with their work they won’t correct it.

Staff is very helpful. They completed our repairs in a timely manner and the bill was fair. Love our Gateway.

Walked in looking for some things for my trailer. Several employees there, but none acknowledged me in any way. After not finding what I was needing, I decided to look at the RVs on the lot. All were locked and no one offered to show them to me. Wow! Might have missed a sale.

We had the worst experience that was made even worse by Gateway RV. Driving our 5th Wheel from UT to CA, we were outside Elko by 30+ minutes when we had a blowout and busted Bearing derail us. Called every shop in Elko to see if they had the everything we needed to replace and grease the Bearings ourselves on the side-of-the-road. Gateway RV assured us they had the correct items/sizes, etc. We had to drop our trailer (and all of our belongings) on the side of the road and drive 30+ minutes behind us to purchase the items. After triple checking the sizes and spending a lot of money, we returned to our abandoned 5th Wheel. After changing and greasing the Bearings we realized the Lug Nuts were indeed the WRONG SIZE. We called the shop, they refused to apologize and said they had the correct ones in shop (but refused to deliver them to us). We had to make another 1-hour round trip and in fact THEY DID NOT HAVE THE CORRECT SIZE. Would not refund us, apologize or try to rectify the matter in any way. We had to creep our way to the nearest town, stopping every-so-often to tighten the Lug Nuts that were the wrong size so the tire wouldn't just pop off. After 3-trips to the store, the repairs, we were on the side of the road for 12-hours! This place ruined our day and could have cost us our lives. The staff needs to get it together, lose their self-confidence and actually sell their customers the correct items before they get sued.

Very nice and helpful staff. They fixed my trailer in 2 days. Good prices and nice RVs for sale. Lots of parts and a restroom.

This RV business is, by far, much better than Sprads RV in Reno NV when it comes to customer service, speed and pricing!!!!! We took our RV to them after the headache service we received at the service department at Sprads for our forever warranty inspection. Gateway RV had our inspection completed in just a couple hours and worked with us as far as the delivery of repair items being sent to our house instead of making us tow our 5th wheel back to do a simple swap and install ( we live 4 hrs away from Gateway and Sprads) That's so much more than I can say for Sprads who argued with us last year about doing the same. I would, hands down, recommend taking the drive to Gateway Rv in Elko before I ever took it to Sprads!! It all takes hours instead of days and the friendly, efficient staff is a pleasure to be around!!
