Garretth & A did a wonderful job, renovating our kitchen. From beginning to end all their staff was professional, courteous, had great attention to detail, and communicated with us throughout.. They completed the project faster than expected and we could not be happier with our new kitchen. We will definitely use them for future products and I highly recommend them for any project that you have at your home.

Due to strong winds I had some major roof damages and with bad weather ahead I called Garretth, they came over my property, did a quick inspection in my attic to make sure there were no hidden damages, and cover the area where shingles had flown away while I waited for my insurance to step in!!
Gland there are companies that still care!!

They did a demo of my water rotted wood (ledger boards and framing) and floor. Then fixed everything with new pressure treated wood and sealed. They also were able to demo a small room that had asbestos tiles. This was a huge cost savings for me instead of getting 2 companies to do the job. I did have to have them come back to fix a few things that did not turn out right. (Less a fault of workmanship and more the fault of materials.) But they happily did it at no additional cost and in a timely manner. They are willing to stand by their work and are willing to address issues that may come up after the job is complete. I greatly appreciate this in a company and a person. I’m glad I found them and will use them in the future. Honest, hard working and easy to communicate with make them stand out.

We recently had our bathroom remodeled by Garretth & A, and the experience was fantastic. We wanted to change our bathroom to a more modern look and contacted them. We met Ronald one of the owners, he was super informative and made sure we understood every step of the process, which really helped. The crew was also very friendly, respectful, and easy to have around—they treated our home with care and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Their quality of work is outstanding, and our new bathroom is amazing!!! We’re super happy with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, professional renovation experience.

Ronald, Carlos and their crew did an excellent job replacing our ancient wood deck with modern Trex. They were attentive to details and rolled with the punches when changes occurred. We are very happy. I've included before and after pictures.

If you are looking for a company that does quality work and has exceptionally nice workers-this is it. I met Carlos, one of the owners, about 20 years ago when he did several jobs at my home. When he and his business partner started this company I got to know Ronald. They are both very professional, hardworking men as are their employees. I have used them for multiple projects-large deck addition and repairs, addition of railing for safety concerns, painting half the rooms in my house, fence painting, etc. Written estimates are always provided, and they do a great job of cleaning up at the end of every day.

I have highly recommended them to friends and family. There are never any complaints and always complements. They recently completed a golf simulation room for a family member. You won’t be disappointed if you have them do your next project.

Carlos and Ronald did a fantastic job installing a customized golf simulator in my basement. They took the concept with little formal instructions or guidance and turned the room into a professional grade space. It was very difficult to find a contractor willing to take this work on, and I strongly recommend talking to these guys if you're looking for help on this kind of project. 10/10.

The team was great with our basement remodel that included adding a shower to a half bathroom. They worked with our budget and design ideas. They were extremely communicative throughout the process. There were some structural challenges with our house that impacted the initial design and permitting. The team worked creatively to work around those challenges while keeping to our functional and esthetic needs. We love our remodeled basement and bathroom. Would definitely work with them again. Highly recommend.

I came back home from vacation and found my upstairs bathroom had leaked to the first floor. I called my regular plumber who got me in contact with Garretth & A Remodeling. I didn’t even know of any mitigation companies but they showed up asap and knew exactly what to do in such situations. I stuck with them for renovating the bathroom, the kitchen, and walls/ floors from the damage due to flooding, and they were accommodating to my design likes and timeline. They also helped me deal with home insurance and produced all needed materials that insurance requested. I am hoping to use them again for future renovations and would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel, update, or fix any home project, especially if you don't want to deal with big companies, and like the personal attention a smaller shop can offer.

Carlos and Ronald are fantastic! They are great communicators, clean, thorough, and do really quality work. My wife and I are very happy with the outcome of our renovations.

We were introduced to Carlos and Ronald by our interior designer who has been in the industry for several decades. She had worked with them on a prior project, and recommended we have them bid on our extensive home remodel (interior) that involved installing a new entry way door on the front of the home, a new exterior door from our mudroom to the driveway, removing old hardwood on the first and second stories and (and the stairs) and installing hickory flooring, removing old banisters/newel posts/balusters/handrails and installing new speced for our design, removing old interior doors and replacing them with new solid core doors, slightly altering some walls and a landing area on our main stairwell, installing new ceiling lights and fans, a complete demo of the interior portion of our fireplace and building new along with built in cabinetry, floating shelves, a large built-in cabinet/shelving system, installing new powder room sink... installing extensive wall treatments and moldings throughout the home, finishing our master bedroom ceiling with wood treatments, demoing our master closet for install of a new closet system... the list goes on and on and on. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Basically, this was a massive remodel of the first two floors of our home.

Our designer was present for the initial walk through with Ronald and Carlos and it was immediately apparent that they had a great rapport with eachother and the designer. Seriously... these guys are true salt-of-the-earth folks that are friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, and thorough.

They spent a lot of time taking exacting measurements and notes, and ultimately gave us a detailed proposal that spelled out what was to be performed and the costs involved. It was broken down to levels I'd not experienced with other contractors.

From a friendliness perspective, Ronald, Carlos, and their extended crew never changed. I enjoyed every interaction with them and appreciated their enthusiasm for the work they did... and that goes for the entirety of the time we spent with them which was several months.

They were also trustworthy with our property. We moved out and were living about 20 minutes away. So, the crew was in charge of securing our home. Never had any issues. And despite the fact that we weren't there, the job site was always kept clean and neatly organized.

They always listened to our concerns. Sought outside advice for questions they couldn't answer, and did a heckuva job staying on schedule. If they said something was going to happen, it happened. And if we had a request for something to be done differently, they were super easy to deal with and always made things right.

Ronald is an excellent craftsman. He was hands on with the construction of our new fireplace surround, mantle, and built-ins. He constructed many things with his own hands... and the amount of pride he took in making things right was above and beyond what I've come to expect from a contractor. He and our designer, along with Carlos, came up with excellent workarounds for design components that needed a bit of extra planning... and often times Ronald was the one with the vision of how the finished product would ultimately look. His work... better said: craftsmanship... transformed our home, as did his eye for making things look finished. It's amazing and we love it, largely because they listened to exactly what we wanted and used their expertise to guide us in the right direction.

These guys absolutely nailed our project from start to finish. We are thrilled with the final results. And I, without hesitation, can easily recommend Garretth & A Remolding as a go to contractor. If you want a next level experience, look no further.

Fabulous company, quality work and competitive pricing. They went out of their way to please us. We did expansive hard scape around our new pool that included stone retaining walls, stone patios, lighting, pool coping and grading.

We hired Garretth & A Remodeling LLC to repair and paint our porch, redo our stairs and a retaining wall, and add stair railings. From the beginning of requesting an estimate to the completion of the job everyone was professional. The job was started on time and was completed early. We were very happy with the finished project.

I don’t normally read or write reviews but when you come upon the gold standard in any category it deserves recognition.

My wife and I have lived in this townhouse for forty years so we were due for a makeover and when I saw a truck in the parking lot out front that said Garretth & A Remodeling and General Contractors I took it as a sign, and we decided to start with the downstairs.

We met with Carlos, one of the company owners. He listened to our renovation ideas and made suggestions. He then presented us with a very professional “step by step” estimate detailing each part of the project, complete with diagrams, measurements, pictures of bathroom fixtures, flooring, doors, and samples of paint colors. He made us feel confident with his obvious expertise and experience. Plus we noted the pricing was reasonably inline with what we expected.

Work began as scheduled. The crew showed up every morning at eight o’clock sharp and worked hard all day. They were quiet, respectful, and professional. When the initial demolition work began, plastic barriers were put up to protect the rest of the house from cold temperatures and dust. Their attention to detail was remarkable and within a couple weeks the downstairs was transformed into a beautiful living space (missing only the french door, which we wanted to replace the sliding door, and for which we needed approval from our HOA).

Then on a dark windy night we thought we heard thunder, followed by a house shuddering BOOM!! An old sixty foot pine tree fell and struck our neighbors townhouse and our townhouse. Thankfully no one was hurt.

How fortunate that we had Garretth & A Remodeling still working on our house because Carlos and his company came to our rescue.

Carlos checked on us and the neighbor and then arranged to have the tree removed the next morning. A tree crew striped the branches off the tree and then brought in a crane to lift the large tree off of the houses. Then Carlos’ crew worked with great urgency to prevent further damage inside both houses by covering the roofs’ holes with plywood and tarps before the rains started. They are also helping the neighbors with their repairs.

We have discovered that Carlos and Ronald have invaluable knowledge and experience working with insurance companies, landscapers, and tree removal companies. Which is just what you want in a general contractor - making them a one stop shop.

Midday Christmas Day, my wife and I returned home from an overnight visit with our daughter to find that a pipe had frozen and ruptured in our third floor attic space. The ensuing flood caused extensive damage on our first and second floors along with minor ceiling damage to our finished basement. The next day, I contacted our insurance company along with Garretth and A Remodeling. Although I have been a home owner for 40 plus years, this was essentially my first big insurance claim so I had no idea how the whole process worked. Ron and Carlos were fantastic to work with, they have plenty of experience with insurance work and were willing and able to basically hold my hand through the entire claim process; explaining each step along the way and working directly with our claim adjuster as needed to expedite the project.

His workman are also very courteous. They protect existing areas and isolate the work area from other areas not affected by the project. We had Garretth do some minor interior and exterior work to our townhouse and asked them to remodel our kitchen. It started as just a kitchen remodel and ended up remodeling the whole first floor. Carlos and Ronald are wonderful to work with and the whole team did a beautiful job! I highly recommend them for any remodeling project!!!
