The project managers brian and angel were amazing. They kept us in formed of each step. Cody t. Was an awesome salesman, was easy to work with. Fabolia was great and worked with getting this roof replaced in a timely manner..... and well the crew of roofers were just amazing!!!! Do NOT Use THIS COMPANY! There are so many other awesome roofing companies out there, that charge much less, and won’t treat you like a criminal! First of all, I want to start off by saying, the work they did was beautiful. The people are very polite, so I can’t put any shade on that. However, upon shopping for a roofer. I came across Garcia’s roofing. They seem like a pretty reputable company me. And I have gone through hell and back with the insurance company ever since hurricane Ida
. I am still to this day, fighting with the insurance company. But I digress. They put the roof on, and I can’t tell you how beautiful it looks. Perfect job. The reason I’m giving such a low review has nothing to do with the work, but everything to do with what happened afterwards. The contract I signed was the agreement that it would come to $12,700.
However, After I put a little better than half down. And they had finished the work. They came up with me owing over $8000. I wondered now where did that math come from? Seems that they charged me for extra plywood at an exorbitant price by the way, that I didn’t authorize or have prior knowledge to them doing.. And then they even charged me for materials that they didn’t use. Which I have pictures of Sitting right there on my lawn.
I haven’t gotten the rest of the money from my insurance company yet, to finish paying them off. I told them that we would make a couple of payments for the next couple of months. Of a couple of few hundred dollars biweekly then,II would just use my whole entire tax Check to pay them ,off no problem. Even though I’m not happy about the extra charge that I didn’t authorize. Still no problem.

My credits, less than perfect, but I’m working on building it up as we speak. I tried going through financing with their third-party companies. But because I’m still working on building up my credit, I was denied. No problem. However, they refuse to work with me. Instead.. they acted like I was trying to beat them out of their money. Which I absolutely I am not, I owe and plan on paying they refused to work with me. Instead, they decide to put a lien against my home! At Christmas time no less. Merry Christmas. So lovely. Working with such wonderful Christians(. Yes, that’s sarcasm. )Anyways, the gist of this is unless you’re paying cash. And can afford for their little surprise at the end DO NOT GO WITH THIS Company! They will screw you over! there are much better companies, that charge much less that have an actual heart. Please don’t subject yourself to what I have. Do not go with this company!
Oh, and one last thing to add. I had a really nasty case of Covid so they weren’t able to get in touch with me for a good 2 1/2 weeks I wasn’t answering the phone because I feel completely terrible. Anybody who’s ever had Covid can understand that. That seem to cause an issue as well. Like if I was trying to run. They know where I live you know what I mean. Seriously, save yourself the aggravation and trouble this is not sour grapes. This is just really good advice unless you want to get screwed over. I’m a person who hardly ever has a bad word to say about anyone. But they made me feel worthless, and like nothing more than a common criminal because I’m still working on my credit. Seriously Christmas time you gonna put a lien on somebody’s house somebody who is trying to pay you. That’s just not right. I went from praising them to despising them. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone.

Second Update:
After leaving an updated review, Garcia management reached out and admitted the shingles installed were the incorrect size (which is why they were lifting). They ordered the correct shingles and replaced them without further hassle. This crew even cleaned up after themselves. Overall, I am pleased the company rectified the issue. However, I send my prayers if you have to deal with the warranty coordinator. She definitely is not on the customer’s side.

First Update: When repairing the interior of our house and our contractor notified us that the “new” shingles Garcia’s crew installed are lifting once again and are also old shingles that were re-used. Garcia sent an inspector out and he told me the shingles were “no good” and he would be back. When the office contacted me, the tune changed and the warranty coordinator insisted the shingles were “just a different color.” The office sent another inspector out, and the tune is still the same. I am disappointed but not surprised. Spend your money elsewhere. Hopefully you have a better experience with another company than we did with Garcia.

Original review: Great work with quick turn around. The initial assessment was very informative. My only complaint is that the workers did not clean after completing the job. When reporting it to the office, I was told someone would come the same day to clean and never did. Clean up is part of the contract so that was a bit disappointing.

Garcia did a very thorough job replacing termite damaged wood which wasn't a surprise and cleaned everything up when they left.

We had a great experience with Garcia. Their price was very competitive and the work was excellent. Their foreman, Derrek, was wonderful and very easy to deal with. Also they cleaned up very well. Highly recommend!

I called this company 2 weeks ago on June 19, 2024. They told me i needed a new roof. That was fine with me. But i also needed an emergency repair done before waiting on getting the roof done. They gave me the run around! I had to call multiple time. Waisted time that i could have use sourcing other roofers out waiting on them just to tell me. They can’t come out until they get an emergency payment that they never sent the link to me. I thought about paying it. But they couldn’t even give me a for sure date to repair it. They told me anytime in the next 24-48hrs. Terrible company to work with. Happy i didn’t pay anything.

I was impressed with Garcia Roofing beginning with the initial sales encounter to the roof installation. Austan and his crew did a fantastic job. Of course with roof installs you will have some unforeseen replacements and repairs. The crew was quick to fix everything, install the roof, and customize pieces. My new roof looks amazing! Arthur Mitchell came to our home, explained the process and showed us samples. He was very informative and made the process easy. The workers came out and didn't stop till they were done. They wanted it doneright and let us know when they came upon a bad spot. Austin Hood the project manager came to inspect when it was done. He had the guys come back out because he didn't like a spot they worked on. They came back out same day to fix it. We had new flowers planted also. The workers went above and beyond to make sure my plants were good in the end. Garcia did my roof and I highly recommend they do yours too!!

The project was well defined in the contract, communication on each aspect of the job was excellent and the project was delivered as promised.

We worked with Anthony from Garcia. He came out on a Thurs afternoon and thoroughly inspected the attic space and the roof. He spent quite a bit of time documenting the damage that was discovered by a home inspection. He put together a report and went over the needed repairs. My wife and I were quite impressed. We scheduled the repairs. Thankfully our shingles were in stock and his crew was able to start the repair the following Monday. The crew finished in a few hours and did a great job of cleaning up and making sure there were no nails. Anthony returned later that afternoon for a quality check. He documented the repairs and checked that the area was free of any stray nails. He also provided a link to the pictures so we could clearly see the quality of the work that was performed.

I received quotes to replace/repair gutters from 4 different contractors. Although they weren't the cheapest, I am super pleased with Garcia Roofing. From the initial scheduling of the estimate all the way through the final follow-up after installation, Caymen Landry was professional, responsive and thorough in his explanations. I WILL be recommending Garcia Roofing to family and friends.

I had Garcia Roofing replace my 4000 square foot roof including the flashing. The salesman (Dustin) was great. However when we went to have our siding replaced on the second level of our home the siding company uncovered multiple areas of inadequate flashing and coverage of roof shingles behind the siding. Garcia Roofing sent out an inspector who originally claimed the siding company damaged the flashing. I sent them photos of the inadequate flashing and shingles for them to evaluate. Once they received the photos they immediately arranged to have the repairs done the vey next week! Then they went above and beyond with the repairs. They completely removed and replaced all of the flashing to the highest level possible and added shingles where needed. Although the original roof had some deficiencies, I am extremely happy with it now, as they exceeded my expectations with the repairs. I was told by another quality roofer that the repairs were excellent and done at the highest industry standard and will never leak. I just cant say enough about how happy I am that I choose Garcia to replace my roof. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality roofing company they can trust to stand behind their work!

I am extremely please with Garcia Roofing. They said we're coming on the 16th and they Did! The Roof was done in 2 business days. The project manager was respectful, and had great communication from start to finish. Adjustments were made to assist me in every way possible and THAT! Is what it looks like when you treat people like a human being. Caveat: The roof on my home that they fixed is in Louisiana but I currently live in DC, absolutely stress free. I am so very Greatful. Contacted Garcia for roof repair after mine was damaged during Hurricane Ida. Roofing crew was very professional and did a great job. My site manager, Alberto, and my point of contact at Garcia kept me in the loop on all of the steps. They tarped the ground and brought a dumpster to catch all the debris. Payment and sign off was easy. Would definitely recommend them .

Clean out of the gutters could have been more thorough as numerous nails exited downspouts after a heavy rain storm the day after completion. Regardless, highly recommend Garcia Roofing.

Stay away. Very poor workmanship done by Garcia roofing. After roof was “complete” they had to send out another group of laborers not once but 3x to redo all the flashings and other things because they weren’t done correctly. Left new decking exposed as you can see in picture. Very long nails protruding into attic, but told this is normal. Daylight seen from inside attic. Laborers on roof drunk and leaving beer cans all over yard. Quote for 33k and then when job complete told for 45k. Unprofessional, I do not recommend.

Everyone was so nice and professional and my roof and gutters look great! Would have still been looking if Jose didn’t point me in the right direction and help get me a quote from the New Orleans team. Cody was great with following up with me to get a contract in place and Alberto, the project manager, got the job done quickly and cleaned up and made sure to check back with me after the project to make sure I was happy. In the post Ida environment, there were some estimates randomly dropped off by out of town companies that we would never consider.
Locally there were more choices we seriously considered. However, Garciadidmyroof stood out to us in several ways that others had not...sending vital certificates, before we requested. It is obvious that they have hired genuinely friendly and professional individuals. Our project manager Alberto...our sales rep. Walter...the many phone reps.and the crew who performed the most

The Garcia crew was very efficient during the entire process. In removing the old roof everything was done quickly and neatly and all trash was removed. The new roof was installed and looks great. Even my neighbor commented that the Garcia roof job looked way better than what we had done after Katrina. The finished roof looks great and they did it without damaging new gutters we had put up about a year ago. All trash etc was cleaned up and removed at the end of the job.

I am very impressed with the outcome of my new roof by Garcia Roofing. Donovan, White, the On-site Project Manager, was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He explained the entire process and responded to all questions I had. During the two days it took to complete my roof, Donovan made several trips daily to the keep up with the progress. He also check the interior of my roof at the beginning and end of the job to make sure everything was in order. The crew was diligent and left everything neat upon completion. Thanks to Donovan, I had no concerns or apprehensions, and the entire process was seamless.

Enduring several storms and insurance wanting to only patch our roof each time, we were done! After many hours of research we decided to go with a metal roof and hire Garcia to handle it. Highly professional, responsive, communicative and excellent company. I lost my roof during Ida, and it was very hard to even get a hold of a roofer for two months after. Garcia was responsive, and although they couldn't come out for several weeks they communicated consistently with me throughout the process. When they did begin the actual roof work, they were very efficidnet--1.5 days for a full slate replacement roof. I recommend them highly when you need a new roof after a hurricane.

Garcia Roofing was professional and courteous. Specifically, the project manager Alberto was amazing. He showed up several days prior to the job to confirm the proper materials were delivered and walked the job site to ensure no issues would arise that would slow the job. My roof was damaged during Hurricane Ida. I wanted to use somebody local so I decided on Garcia Roofing. They had also performed a repair to my roof previously. My initial contact was with Robert Brice. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He also performed some additional documentation to help with my claim with my insurance company.

When Garcia came to replace the roof, Chandler McClure was my point of contact. He kept informed of everything going and was always available if I need him for questions of any kind.
