Larry is the nicest guy. The prior owners of my home had him do a chimney sweep. When I moved in, I called and asked a bunch of questions about my fireplace and converting it to gas. He gave me a lot of good advice and referrals. Then later, I thought I needed another sweep and he came out and said "no, you don't". I asked more questions about my new gas fireplace and he was helpful - then he left, no charge. I appreciate his helpfulness and honesty.

Larry and his guys did an excellent job repairing my chimney and installing a new cap. They also repaired a small section of my roof that was damaged by the wind.

We called Freeze’s in the fall of 2022 for a chimney sweep. They came over and inspected it. They were honest and told me it didn’t need a sweep. Upon inspection, they found loose bricks in the fire box. You could even see light coming through and we never noticed it. He said it wasn’t something that had to be done right away. We could still use our fireplace for the winter. He quoted us for fixing the bricks and for a chimney crown. I called them back in the spring of 2023. They came out and got everything completed for us. They are professional and honest. I would definitely use them again.

I definitely recommend Larry and will use his services again as the need arises. He conducted an inspection on two fireplaces. During the inspection, he explained what he was looking for. He answered my questions thoroughly and clearly. In addition, I asked about different fireplace related issues and he was very helpful with his information . Even though both fireplaces were in good condition, he took the time to provide me with additional information about cost of repairs when necessary and ongoing maintenance suggestions. I am very happy I took the time to do thorough research on who to perform the job. I submitted a few online requests and Larry was the only one to return my call bright and early the next morning. I needed a fireplace inspection done and low and behold there were other issues and it was unsafe to use. I hired Larry to complete the job. Several things had to be done including the tear done of some of my chimney and rebuild. One of the days he was out there, he all by himself because he was short handed, but it didn’t matter, he was going to get it done! He always kept in touch and let me know when they would or would not be there. I have no doubt if an issue were to arise and I had to call him to return, he wouldn’t bat an eye and would be out as soon as he could get to me. Heard about this company through a friend at work. Had my old chimney liner replaced with a new steel liner. The crew did a great job. Did a great job taking care of the area of my house and yard they were working on. When finished the area was all cleaned up. The previous owners had closed off the chimney from use. Mr. Freeze came out and removed the cover and installed the flow. He also inspected the entire fireplace and gave us a few suggestions for a successful experience. Very inexpensive and a good person! Highly recommend!

I bought my house in November of last year. Never having used the chimrny I had it inspected to make sure everything was safe. Freeze's arrived on time and performed an inspection. They didn't try to sell me unnecessary services and gave me straightforward answers while also educating about a fireplace and chimney that I had no idea how to use. Integrity isn't very common anymore but you'll find it with Freeze's. When I'll eventually need to clean my chimney and change the liner i know exactly who to call.

It is rare to find a business that is completely trustworthy. Larry arrived as promised to replace a part in my woodstove that was recommended by a chimney sweep from another business. Although I purchased the part ahead of time, Larry took time and effort to take down and inspect and clean the original part, as well as replace some firebrick and tighten the door handle. Then, he showed me that the original part was still in good working order. I greatly appreciate his honesty and the time he took to do the job correctly. I am not a novice to hiring for home repairs, but on some level the homeowner cannot always know if the work recommended is necessary. Larry Freeze can be trusted.

Larry replaced the flashing, took down old brick which was spalling and flaking, rebuilt the chimney and installed a new stainless steel liner. The entire project was handled extremely professionally. The Freeze’s did a great job re-lining my chimney. They communicated very well throughout the project. They replaced all the cracked brick on the outside of the chimney and it looks great.
