Matt came out to perform a complimentary roof patch for us. He was kind, honest, personable, and respectful of the property. He took the proper steps to ensure he could do the job properly, and I appreciate that he thoroughly documented his work.

Austin came out and was very respectful. We didn’t feel pressured to go with them what so ever. But we did! We’ve been updated on every step and what would happen the roofing process starts. We were recommended by two people and they haven’t had any issues!

Freedom Roofing replaced my garage roof a few weeks ago, and I was very impressed with the way the 5 young men worked together to get this job completed, stopped long enough to wait out rain storm, and went back to work immediately. They made sure the yard was free of debris, cleaned with sweeper several times to remove all nails, including neighbors yard close to garage. Another rep from Freedom came by a few days later to go up on garage roof to be sure things were completed correctly. Would recommend this company.

We had new windows put in our home by Freedom Roofing Windows and Siding by their New Bern NC office. It was a nightmare. I should have cancelled the project when they came out FIVE times to measure for windows by several different people. I thought they were being thorough but it actually meant they had NO IDEA how to measure. Well now we’ve spent months arguing with them about the windows not being the appropriate size because after they installed them, my siding DID NOT fit. They are literally off by 1-2 inches. The project manager’s explanation was that “sometimes that happens” which was utter BS because I’m quite confident he knew he messed up royally and didn’t want to have to deal with it. He said they would not replace all the windows. We had another contractor come out and pull the window apart and basically said it was wrong and he measured them all wrong. I even questioned him during the installation when two of the windows were grossly undersized and they didn’t nail one side of the windows to the house, so he used spray foam to fill in the gap and drilled screws through the side of the frame and said that’s how you fix it. They also did a horrific job of installing an exterior door which they came back and fixed. Well they came and replaced those two windows. Josh had them to agree to fix 13 more but we are over it & i dont need mis-matched windows all over. So we decided we would just have to reside the entire house because it’s hurricane season and I’ve got siding loose around every window. We consulted an attorney who we can’t afford, with 3k retainer and 300 an hour (and an unknown amount of hours it would take) and their home office is in Ohio so we’d have to probably get another attorney in Ohio for that with no guarantee we’d ever see any money from them for their epic failure. To top it off it’s a Veteran Owned Company who totally screwed over two veterans. So lesson learned and do NOT recommend Freedom Roofing Windows and Siding out of New Bern NC for any jobs!

They just finished the neighbors roof a few days ago. The roof itself looks good. If the employees could have been a little more mindful of the blowing garbage (we watched them watch it blow off the roof down the street) and maybe not have parked on both sides of the street making it very difficult to get in and out of the driveways and up and down the street it would have been appreciated.

Freedom roofing really went above and beyond solving an issue within our condo association and neighborhood. It’s a long story but all I can say is that I have never met a more kind group of people in the business world before! Thank you so much to everyone at freedom roofing especially Bailey . You are truly the best!

I recently inspected a roof done by freedom. Have to say it wasn’t the worst, but it definitely wasn’t the best. I myself Have had 10 years plus in the roofing industry. If the owner of the company walked the roof himself, he would agree at the shotty work that I found,in my opinion was done because of lazy work. Just wanting to get done,on all the rakes Jagged, shark teeth, meaning they didn’t use a straight edge to cut it. Shingles not butted properly with gaps in the crotch lines. Flashing with gaps in it, flashing on the outside of the siding. No kick out flashing anywhere to prevent water damage to walls.Lack of vents added for more ventilation needed for the roof to breathe To extend the life of the shingles. Was rather disappointed. An Installer can make or break your business and needs to be properly trained and you just need better inspections during install to catch these problems during the installation.

I had an overall good experience. There was a slight issue with the permit, but they were quick to figure out what happened and to rectify it. Mistakes can happen, and how they handled it is why I left 5 stars.

Before I paid my invoice (after job was completed), I called the city to confirm that the permit and inspection were completed. They had no record of it. I was surprised since I was given a call stating they had received it. This was a HUGE concern.

I informed Freedom Roofing immediately after finding out and was directed to leave a voicemail. I called back 2 days later, and the owner answered. She was apologetic and promised to get to the bottom of it.

She didn't have a resolution the same day but called to let me know that she didn't forget and was waiting to get more information. It turns out the city sent the payment portion for the permit to an old email address. As soon as it was found out, they took care of it that day. The following week, I was able to call the city to get the inspection done.

The positives:

It was easy to get a quote and make modifications to the original quote. They were very open about calling if I had concerns. I only called to make modifications/confirm they would get the permit, and they were always friendly.

I honestly don't know much about roofs or gutters, but I found the price was reasonable for the work I wanted done (I got a total of 3 quotes from different places).

The workers who came out worked hard! They were quick, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. The roof and gutters look good. I'm sure if there is an issue and I don't realize it, they would be able to correct it.

Tyler Fortney came to give an estimate for siding. He was very professional and thorough. There was no pressure to commit to the sale and he has been answering all of my follow up questions very promptly

Roof redone Oct 2024:

--Pipe boot was poorly installed, I asked for it to be fixed. They did.
--The edges around my skylights looked pretty rough, I had to ask for those to be fixed. They sort of did.
--I was concerned about some spots on our flat roof but told not to worry about them, that that's just how flat roofs look. Reluctantly let that one go..
--They were supposed to put our balcony railings back up on platforms as they were before, they did not put platforms underneath them. This was not a concern we realized until May 2025, when we got an active leak.

Active leak May 2025:
Someone came out to check some spots we had concern over after a few hard rains, they said nothing to worry about, we were fine with that answer. However, an area we did not check together started actively leaking a few hours later over an in progress remodel. A different guy came the next day and said someone would be out probably two days later to fix the leak and the areas around the skylights and flat roof. 12 days later and several phone calls and texts, they have ghosted me and we have nothing on the schedule. My five month long remodel can't wrap up until they fix this, and that makes this even more frustrating.

I called to make appointment to have our roof looked at. Rob called me later that day to say that he and Brady could stop by on way home to look at it. We had other Estimates. Freedom was very professional . Great price .
Got our large roof stripped and replaced in one day. Everything was
cleaned up when they left. Roofers did a great job.
Because of the weather they came back the following Wednesday to put on new gutters.
Rob kept in contact when I had any questions. Our neighbors said they couldn't believe how fast the roof was finished. THANK YOU TO ALL !!

Excellent service. Came gave us estimate ,helped us get financing and then timely installation of new roof on house and garage and new gutters on the house. The roofs were torn off and new roof installs all in one day. Then, a day later a very thorough inspection and clean up done of the roofing jobs. All questions were answered before,during and after install. The office staff is efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. Everyone associated with getting our project done was friendly and helpful. Amazing amout of work done and roofing workers never stopped from the time they arrived till job was finished. Our whole neighborhood was amazed at how hard they worked to complete the job. Highly recommend this company. So efficient and knowledgeable and friendly and so easy to work with them. Thank you. We love our roof makes our house look great.

Freedom roofing was way below the other estimates I received by 26000 dollars. The roofers were done in 1 day and cleaned up after themselves. They were constantly cleaning up after themselves with magnets for nails and all debris. The workers were polite and gracious. I am so impressed with these guys. I would give them 10 out of 10. Absolutely amazing job.

AUSTIN came out today and gave me a honest review what they do and dont do. What they are experts at and can guarantee. I appreciated the care towards me the client. They are not just trying to sell something for sales goals. I will definitely be reaching out on future projects as well.

Did an awesome job? They were here early in the morning. They cleaned up everything and even some extra that was laying here.

The company was very efficient and completed a roofing job for us on a commercial building in April. A week or so later they attached a 6 inch gutter and a large downspout to the back of the building. The three man crew that finished the job worked tirelessly to finish the job on a Saturday, because they wanted to be with their families on Mother's Day!

Very impressed with this company, especially Austin Evans, the company rep and all the roofers who helped complete this job. Everyone was extremely professional. The workers did an excellent job of cleaning up and Austin kept me informed of timelines. Definitely would recommend!!!

we hired Freedom to replace our roof last fall, we where very pleased with their work, we felt their price was reasonable. we would recommend them to anyone. the only complaint that I have, which I did not notice till this week, with all the rain we got. They never re nailed the rain cutters back to the house tight, there is a gap, from the roof to the rain cutters now.

Yesterday I got to meet with three amazing guys from freedom roofing. While at work Tyler, Zack and Blake they are amazing. They gave me some great information about prices and everything that my husband and I could need for when we do our custom build. AMAZING, PROFESSIONAL, quick to respond, correct any and all issues/concerns, fast past, great work, friendly and polite. With us every step of the way from estimate, to finance, delivery, tear down, installation, construction, and clean up.
Had wind damage not even 24 hours after replacement from a violent storm, crew was out less then 12 hours after storm and repaired the damage.

I had a minor issue with a couple of roof shingles. I called them to see if they could help and they were out the same day and took care of it. I highly recommend this company. Both professional and honest. I will use them for all my roofing needs.

Justin conducted a thorough and informative initial inspection. We had three different companies assess the property, and he was the only one to inspect both the attic and the roof. He provided detailed photographs and presented a comprehensive quote the same evening. The team did an excellent job with the roof installation. Nick was fantastic! He came out to inspect the roof/attic for water damage I had on my second floor ceiling. Found a bathroom vent pipe was improperly taped and was leaking. Fixed it for free and explained everything very thoroughly. Cannot say enough good things about this company and Nick.

I love the new black onyx roof and black gutters (with leaf guard) and downspouts. Justin did a fantastic job answering my never ending plethora of questions. There was a very minor issue that Justin had resolved very promptly. Hands down, the best quality assurance ever. They really care about their customers. The roofers did a great job. We replaced all of the OSB on the main part of the house and I'm glad they did the tear off and put the new roof on the main house the first day so the new OSB wasn't exposed to the elements overnight. Then they did the tear off and shingles for the garage and porch the next day. Gutters and downspouts the following day. Aaron, came by when the roofers were done and did a thorough job cleaning up any nails the roofers may have missed. I would definitely recommend this company, not only because they did an amazing job in a timely manner, but also because we should support our veterans by using a veteran owned company.

Freedom Roofing did a great job replacing our roof! Sales Rep Austin communicated well the issues of our previous roof. I had multiple roofers visit and some their explanation was questionably brief or excessively lengthy. Prompt responses from the Freedom team throughout the process was much appreciated. Freedom Roofing and Siding is an amazing part of our community! They are always there to lend a hand! When my front door was broken, they sent someone to help me get it open, even though they were not the ones who sold it to me. They gave me good advice and I got it taken care of!

They did a great job. They showed up early and worked extremely hard to get our roof done. They cleaned up everything that they had to tear off and double checked. They were very polite and got right to work. They were very cautious about my plants and although one did get a little mushed they triedvery hard to avoid the others when maneuvering the equipment. My husband and I are very very happy with the service. I give them an A+ from start to finish.
