Our neighbor contracted with Formula for work on their home, and the result was great! We had also been thinking about re-siding vs re-painting the aluminum siding on home. The siding and windows were very old and the house was drafty. So, we decided it was time to replace both.

Ryan and Formula replaced a roof on my single family house in Milwaukee. The experience was excellent from start to finish. When the weather in December broke for just a few days, they were on it. Started at 6:30am until dusk for two days and did a tremendous job. Every time an issue came up, Ryan showed up and got us quickly to a satisfactory solution. The house and garage were done in 2.5 days and I have been completely satisfied with their work. It was a pleasure dealing with Ryan and Formula. The next time I have any outside repairs or remodeling they will be on the top of my list.

We recently had a tear off roof done on our home and garage. We had a fantastic experience with the Formula team, start to finish. We had a number of questions and a lot to learn, and everyone we interacted with was very helpful and clearly knowledgable about their craft. They came out quickly after our inquiry and gave us a quote and product choice the same day. The quote was competitive with others we got, but the service and communication with Formula was significantly better and drove our choice to select them for the work. Our roof was in worse shape than we had thought, and they were able to take care of everything (even the unexpected) within the quoted timeframe. Communication was very clear and consistent from planning to execution, with updates on weather, delivery, timing etc always a step ahead. Though roofing is a very messy process, they took care to prep with tarps and clean up along the way and at the end of the job. We will certainly use them for future exterior projects, and recommend them to others.

We met with several contractors and are we happy we chose Formula to replace our siding, trim, gutters, soffits and fascia. Ryan was always responsive and communicative. The work was done on schedule and completed timely (pretty speedy in fact) and with quality. We ran into a miscommunication during our project but Ryan was easy to work with and took care of us. Very happy with our experience. We needed a new roof due to several flaws in our old one, including leaks into our house, and they were able to complete the job quickly. My wife and I about 9 months ago had a different contractor remove our back porch due to rotting. We then decided to permanently remove this porch and needed someone to work some magic to make it look like the porch was never there along with removing a bird paradise and other rotted wood. Formula made it happen and finished about 2 weeks earlier then originally stated. They communicated really well throughout the process and did high quality work that enhanced our 100 year old Shorewood home.

We had Formula replace the rotting cedar shingles on the entire exterior of our home and re-wrap all the windows and facia as well. It was a tricky job as we were removing a no longer necessary exterior door. It was difficult to find trustworthy contractors who would be willing to take on the job, but from the very first interaction with Formula it felt like the right choice. Everyone was friendly, helpful with suggestions on how to ensure our home stood out from our neighbors while still maintaining its character and curb appeal.

The workers were professional and even came on a Saturday to ensure our project was done on time. They took care to cover our hot tub with a blanket and plywood to ensure it wasn’t damaged when they worked above it.

I called Formula Home Improvements late summer/early fall of 2021 for a quote on a new roof, after meeting Ryan and talking to him about his experience and what other services Formula provided I received a quote for three windows, new siding for my house and garage, as well as a new roof that was going to be able to be put on quickly after accepting the quote I was given. Not only was Ryan super easy to talk with, his communication about the project, timeline for supplies being dropped off and when projects would start and end….where EXCELLENT/TOP NOTCH!!!!! I wish I would have known about him when I had three windows replaced when I first moved into my house, the company I used for those windows was very expensive, the screens had rips in them, very overpriced windows and installation and the quality of windows is poor in comparison to the windows Ryan’s crew put in. Not only was Ryan great to deal with, so were every single person that came over to work on the house. I love supporting local businesses…and feel so fortunate to have a high quality exterior home improvement company in Milwaukee. I receive compliments often on my house and every time I come home I am so happy I decided to give my house a little face lift along with the necessary roof replacement. Soo happy with my new roof! For years I had an on again off again leak in my home. It took me so long, too long if I’m being honest, to bite the bullet and put on a new roof. Formula came by and checked everything out and gave me an estimate that very day! They came out within one week do the job! Started at 7am on the dot and we’re so speedy they were done just after noon. Clean up and all! I actually waited until it rained to write this, and I have NO MORE LEAKS!!! Highly highly recommend!

I received a flyer on my door for this company formula home improvement. And thought to myself here we go again. Always get flyers fo improving my home. But this time I checked formula home improvement with the BBB and liked what I read. So gave them a call for a new roof. Complete tear off. It needed it. Met with the owner Ryan on a Saturday. At my home for a quote on my roof. He was Covid ready. I was concerned for my grand daughter. That was at my home. We stayed in my garage to discuss the terms. And the quote. He was not pressuring me at all. I kind of liked being in control. I had nothing but a good positive feeling about Ryan. It was a gut feeling. So with that said we agreed on the quote which was reasonable in my opinion. He was very professional and knew his stuff. This was not my first roof replacement. So we agreed on a deposit and started our business. His crew was here when he said they would be Ryan kept me informed of everything that would happen and the time line. And his crew worked hard and completed the job in one day house and garage. Very pleased with the crew very clean and not afraid of work. I was amazed at the professionalism that they showed. Everything was in line and done in a timely manner and I am very pleased with the outcome. My roof looks great. We couldn't be more pleased with the work done by Formula Home Improvements. We had a new roof and 3 doors. Ryan was on top every step of the way, and all of the insulation was done great. A very clean job as well as great quality products.

My wife and I had Formula Home Improvements do a tear-off and laying of new shingles on our twelve-family apartment building. It was a big job and they did it at a very fair price, ahead of schedule, and very professionally. They had a large crew that worked really hard and really steady. The crew leader, Pedro, was great. He was very nice and went out of his way to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We are very glad we went with them.

From our first encounter through the end, everyone was professional and friendly.
In fact, our neighbors took issue with us getting our roof redone, and called their landlord, who called Formula to cuss out Ryan. He handled everything very professionally, never spoke poorly of the neighbor or landlord. Just let us know it happened in case we heard something, and never once made us think that it was in any way on us.
They ended up having to remove 4 layers of shingles!!!, and rotted wood that had been shingled over previously. They also replaced the bathroom vent tube and cover, which was supposed to have been done by the people who sold us the house. This all meant some added expense, which Ryan went over with us and we felt the cost for what they did was more than fair.
The crew that did the work was super friendly when we were home, and accommodated anything we asked of them.
On completion, there were a couple spots that we had questions about, as we don't know what everything should look like. Ryan once again explained everything thoroughly, and didn't make us feel like our questions were bad or dumb.
Overall, we were very impressed with the people, the company, and the quality of the work. We would highly recommend them.

Compared to other window-specific replacement businesses that weren't big-box his price was MUCH better. Not only was Ryan and his team professional, kind and quick they worked on one of the coldest days we had to replace some of our windows without so much as us feeling a draft. The windows themselves are lovely, great quality, match our exterior well and the rooms are so much warmer now with our new windows. The quality of the work was really outstanding and the area left clean after install. Ryan personally came by several times to inspect work as well, which I thought was a very nice touch.
