I lost power during a storm and couldn’t get my gas fireplace to work, which was my only source of heat. Dave from Fixquisite came over quickly, took a look, and figured out that the issue was simply dead remote batteries — something I’d totally overlooked. He had me back up and running in minutes. Fixquisite helped me install and program a Google Nest smart thermostat and showed me how to use it efficiently. Later, Dave helped me solve a basement flooding issue at one of my rentals. Instead of just fixing the sump pump (which was running constantly), he found the source of the problem — water flowing in from the street — and showed me how to install a drainage ditch to redirect it. Since then, my basement hasn’t leaked since. Great problem-solver and even better service.

Fixquisite recently restored a vintage metal fireplace for me that had seen better days. It was originally red with lots of chipped paint rust and scratches. Dave carefully prepped and refinished the entire piece.
