Fit Construction and Restoration

I recently hired Doug for a bathroom remodel. I've always done most of my home improvements myself, but I just didn't have the time to dedicate and focus on this work. I've always worried about the trustworthiness of a contractor and the quality of work they'd provide if I had to hire someone. I didn't have that worry with Doug and his staff at Fit Construction & Restoration.

Doug was completely honest, up-front and transparent about every aspect of the job. He saved me money whenever and wherever he could. And he explained everything they did and why. I couldn't be happier in hiring Fit Construction.

Doug's crews, Aaron & Kevin and Jerry & Chris, were fantastic! Aaron and Kevin did the demo and rough carpentry/framing. Almost anyone can make a job "look" good. What I care a lot about is what's "underneath", what you can't see, the "bones" of a house. You've got to have a good foundation to build upon or nothing else really matters. Aaron and Kevin are rockstars in my opinion. They built a rock-solid foundation for the finish work of Jerry and Chris. Jerry and Chris made the finished product look fantastic! It was obvious they all were detail-oriented and meticulous about their work. And I know this because I'd seen all the work that both crews had done as they progressed through the project. They were extremely polite/courteous and professional from the minute they showed up to work. They all took care to protect the house as they worked and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day.

To Aaron, Kevin, Jerry & Chris... THANK YOU! for all your hard work. My mom and I truly appreciate all that you did. Please, please know that it matters greatly and has NOT gone unnoticed.

Doug showed care in worrying about my mom's age and safety in navigating the "old" bathroom. As such, he wanted to be able to tackle our job as soon as he could and he made room in his schedule to fit us in. I dare you to name another contractor, or many other businesses in general, that show that level of personal attention and care. He went above-and-beyond for us and I can't thank him enough.

I'm not a robot or A.I. writing this review. I was born and raised in Weirton in a family of carpenters and construction laborers (which is how & why I've usually done most of my own home improvements/repairs/projects) and I'm a real customer of Fit Construction. I know what quality work looks like and I certainly know what trust means to me. I found both in Doug, Aaron, Kevin, Jerry & Chris. I would absolutely, positively, without hesitation hire Fit Construction again should the need arise. If you're reading this review, I encourage you to call Doug and give him and his crews a chance. I did and I'm completely thrilled with the results.

They are professional and 100% great at what they do they came to my rescue when we had to have a new floor in out living room due to a water line break. I will recommend this company and its crew. Thank you all again.

Doug is fantastic. Everything you want in a contractor. Work was top quality. Communicates constantly. The crew was professional. Dealt with unexpected challenges with ease. Recommend highly and will definitely be by first choice for future work. Remodeled my “Pittsburgh toilet” to a real bathroom. Made my basement a real living space. Awesome.

They did a great job remodeling our kitchen,Sunroom,laundry room and Carport.
Doug's guy's Jerry and Kevin did a fantastic job and so did the other guy's that worked here also.
They are coming back in January for more work!

Doug and all the guys worked on my mom's build of what she want done so far, they were kind, honest, noligible, talked with u as the build was going on, they saw ànother issue explained to us solved it and took care of it,great work from everyone, did great job, cleaned up after themselves everyday, thank u for there kindness,will gladly hire them in the future for other work, thank u Alison and marianne

Unsatisfied with incomplete and rushed sloppy work. Wished I hadn't paid him because the jobs will never be what I paid for. Every project either faulted or after time is looking not as good as I wished. When addressed I was told I was wrong in my opinion, even though they were done for me in my house. Won't hire for another project as I am paying and want what I want.

I had this company do some work for me. They were punctual , friendly, my projects look fantastic and they clean up as they go.

Fixed the whole in Monro brake and tire roof very nice guy and didn't charge a dime I recommend fit construction to anyone.

Excellent contractor. Built a covered deck in Weirton, WV, and surpassed all expectations. Doug and his crew are efficient, professional, and punctual. 100% recommend for all of your general contracting needs.

I purchased a home that needed a little work. I almost backed out until I called Doug. After the home inspection, Doug came over and did his own assessment of what work I needed done and how he could help me. He gave me estimates initially on work that needed done in the attic, which involved adding insulation and ventilation. I also needed work done on a back patio roof that was falling apart. On a whim, I asked if he could replace the rod iron railings that were rusted and in need of replacement.
Within 4 days he and his crew transformed my house. He gave honest pricing and was up front about everything. He was also careful in giving me options on things and adamant on making sure I was satisfied during the process.
There are a lot of contractors and people in general that will take advantage of others, especially someone like me who is a single female. I put full trust in him and his crew. His kindness and honesty are second only to his quality of work and knowledge.

Doug and his crew did such an amazing job to a home we just bought. On a very cold Friday morning they were mixing concrete and prepping to see the details and special touches they put into working is awesome!! Thank you for caring just as much as I do for my new home. My steps look great, the front porch also and the garage steps are the best!! * Gluing the gold lions* I hope you guys liked hot chocolate ? Doug showed up on time everyday and finished the job in just a couple days. We love our new flooring. I would recommend Fit Construction for any of your construction and remodeling project’s. AAA+++

They installed two doors for attic bedrooms in approximately 3-4 hours. They had to cut down the doors for custom sizing and do surrounding trim. They looked great! Would definitely recommend and hire for future work.

I couldn’t be happier about my bedroom remodel! Doug and Arron and Kevin were the best!! Made sure everything was done just the way I wanted, and I couldn’t be happier!! I will be calling them again for another remodel for the bathroom. Thank you guys you were great.

I could not be happier with my new porch and porch roof that Doug and his crew built for me. It is beyond what I was hoping for, Doug is very responsive, kept me involved, and made sure I was satisfied throughout the entire project. Not only do I have a beautiful addition to my home, but I have found my "go to" company for any future projects or needs. Thanks guys!!

Doug was great from beginning to end. He took great care of grandma for us. He was very easy to communicate with and went way above and beyond to make sure everything was great. Great work and much appreciated.

Doug is very professional and reliable. A few months ago he fixed a plumbing leak. We just had him to install an antique fireplace mantle. We will definitely have him back to do more work. I highly recommend him!

Doug is so incredibly kind and SAVED my bedroom floor! We had tried to handle it ourselves and couldnt so we called him. He was able to come that day AND our floor came out beautiful!! We will definitely call him for any future projects!

Professional and reasonably priced. Doug and Karli are helpful and pleasant. Doug guided me in what materials to buy and options available. He always answered his phone and was available. Even as he worked he would ask my opinion on how I thought the job was looking. I really appreciate their help.

They changed 2 front doors and new locks on 4 doors. They look beautiful and they work fast and did an excellent job. Will definitely call them for other jobs!

They are very professional and friendly. Installed new flooring and new toilet. I am so pleased with everything they did. I would highly recommend . Will definitely use them again when I need something done.

I spoke to the owner and sent him some pictures of our roof. He immediately identified the problems that we were having and gave us detailed information even though he was very busy that day. Friendly, professional, easy to talk to, and he got us to closing our new house on time. We will be hiring this company for lots of future work.

They responded to our request in a day and after telling him what we wanted he suggested and explained our options. The employees were here on time, explained what was going to be done that day and were fun to talk to. Definitely recommend

They put in a new kitchen floor, painted my laundry room and put a light in for me. They worked hard and came on time. They did a great job!
