Chris did a fantastic job inspecting the home we are in the process of purchasing. His report was thorough, included photos, and he did a great job of highlighting things for us that need attention urgently and what things need attention eventually. Chris was amazing! The inspection report was incredibly detailed and easy to understand. This was a great experience especially being a first time home buyer not knowing what to expect. Found Firm Foundations on google for a house inspection in Chapel Hill.
Chris was fantastic with communicating, super friendly, great to work with and extremely informative. We were VERY impressed with how much he noticed and found. The report platform online is very impressive and easy to use. You end up with an in depth detailed report showing issues with an easy system that puts together a repair request sheet. Also an in depth report of what’s in the house as far as maintenance, how to maintain it and operate it. Very happy with the value and service! We definitely recommend Chris and Firm Foundations for any inspections!

We are so pleased with our home inspection! Chris was quick to respond and came to inspect within a couple days of asking. He communicated with me before, during, and after the inspection. I would absolutely recommend Chris to do home inspections for anyone. I was able to contact Chris on a Monday and had a appointment for a inspection to be done on Wednesday. I was very pleased with my detailed report that I have gotten from him and it explained everything and had pictures to back everything up.

Firm Foundation was recommended to me when I moved into the area. Because of the quality of work, I chose to use them the 2nd time. I hope not to buy another house for a long, long time, but if I do, I’ll call Firm Foundation for my home inspection. Chris does what he says he will do. He’s reliable and professional and knows his business. I would recommend him to anyone.
