Greg Dollard is professional and responsive. I had a tricky situation with a real estate transaction and ended up needing a roof on a home quickly. I had Paul come out and inspect my attic due to moisture on my ceilings. He determined that my attic wasn’t vented properly and needed more insulation. He showed me that the soffit vents were plugged and probably should add more.

We got our roof replaced a few years back. Recently a piece bordering the edge of the roof under the window started sticking up. The 5 year labor warranty ran out. Despite this, they were able to come in and fix our roof without charging us for the labor. They did a really good job with the broken piece as well as checking up on and fixing the piece under the second window.

Ryan and his team were absolutely amazing to work with. He is so professional and knowledgeable! Also very easy to talk with, understanding of questions we had. We truly feel they provided the upmost quality work and truly care about the families and individuals they work with. We would highly recommend Ryan and his team to any of our family and friends!!

I had my roof replaced last summer, the company did not show up on the day or even the week they initially said they would. It was a good month later before work began. With the first rainfall, water was entering my home, damaging my bay window. The company came back out and realized they installed the gutters incorrectly causing the leak. They did repair this issue. Later my roof continued to leak in other areas of my home. After inspection they said that the stacks seals were not replaced, and that they would be out to repair the following week. It's now a week and a half after they said they would be out to repair, and my roof is still leaking, causing damage to my ceiling, and wood floors. I have called for the past 3 days, leaving a message with their answering service every day, with no call back. Please note, I am calling during their "open" business hours, except for Sunday (understandable that I received an answering service on this day).

Rick took amazing care of us. He made it a breeze to make sure insurance didn’t become a hassle too. They put on all new roof, gutters, downspouts and gutter guards for us. I have zero complaints and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done.

I had a tree fall on my roof from a wind storm and it damaged my roof and gutters. I called my insurance company and had a really hard time dealing with them. Rick from Exterior Remodel got the situation handled and I did not have to deal with the insurance company anymore. My roof and gutters were repaired in a timely matter and it was done professionally. Rick was very knowledgeable and polite and went way out of his way to make his customer happy. Highly Recommend! We had our tile roof replaced and Ryan coordinated all aspects of the project including tear down, gutters, wood repair, paint, etc. He was quick to respond to my questions/pics and would text when a new crew was showing up. He showed professionalism and everyone this company worked with provided high quality work.

Here’s the type of work you get.

I was told in August of 2020 that the damages would be take care of. That was 9 months ago. How many times do you guys need to come out and reinspect the damages you caused before fixing it. I told jimmy on the 27th of April that he could come out anytime since it was on the outside. His response was no problem. So I guess I’m missing your comment about me not responding to him. I can start posting all the back and forth text messages if you would like. It took 5 months for you guys to repair the leaking skylight in my bathroom. Again this is all your company’s quality of work. I’m not asking for anything above you correcting the damages you caused to my home.

Ryan and his team did a fantastic job on my new roof! This was the largest project I had to have done before moving into my new house. Ryan made the entire process very easy and straightforward. Despite the complexity and steepness of the roof, the whole thing was done in less than a week. They also did a great job on cleanup afterwards! I look forward to using Exterior again for the other house projects I have lined up!

Paul the owner is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. My mother had the absolute worst experience with this company and has been screamed at, berated and hung up on by him and his employees (Ryan) Paul even told her to go ahead and leave a poor review because “he doesn’t even care at this point”

They will not honor the warranty promised.

Ryan Scribner is the reason I sought out roof replacement. He worked with my insurance company to get comparable materials and the proper abatement approved. The new DaVinci roof with copper valleys was professionally installed and looks beautiful. Many compliments from neighbors too.

Ryan S. was amazing to work with- super professional and responsive. He took care of all the insurance correspondence and made sure we got all the depreciation owed. Our project was delayed due to circumstances beyond control but he was very transparent and kept in touch with frequent updates, ultimately pulling whatever stings he could to get our slate roof done ASAP. The end result is high quality work and and a gorgeous slate roof. I couldn’t be happier with the service. Highly recommend!

I didn’t get any work done by your company but I locked my keys in my car last night and a guy named David with your company helped get them out.... like it was freezing and late and he had grandma and a toddler to get home to but he stuck it out like a champ! lol thanks David for your help... you guys have a great employee!

Tyler and his whole team went above and beyond for us!!! They worked with our insurance company to get them to pay for all the damage!!! Allstate gave us a original estate of $8500 Tyler and his team ended up collecting over 25000 dollars!!! I learned two things in this experience go with this company and don’t have Allstate thanks Tyler Weaver

Update to the review....

Not only was the work shotty at best, but the flashing was not replaced and during the spring, when the snow and ice was melting off the roof, we got water coming in through the soffit vents.

Turns out the ice and water barrier was not installed correctly and come to find out the roof flashing was never replaced and now it will cost us 3 times the cost it would have been if things would have been done right the first time.

I wish i could rate less than one star....

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS...

This company is one of the worst companies in Omaha. Get everything they say in writing. Absolutely everything. We informed Scott Anderson that all the money we had for the roof was what the insurance company gave us a check for. After getting another check from the insurance for something they forgot to pay out, we informed Scott of the grand total of the moneys paid out to us.
Him and his company refused to honor the total of the moneys paid out and went straight off the insurance documentation. We are now having to pay $9620.61 for just the roof because we don’t have enough money to pay for the gutters and downspouts.
It’s a shame that war veterans/homeowners artred in such a manner.

Ryan handled my claim from start to finish. I would recommend this company to any of my family or friends. When you live in the Midwest you can get the craziest weather that can damage your home and when it does it’s nice having a reputable company like Exterior Remodel & Design take good care of you! Ryan from ERD is customer centric, highly dependable and dedicated. He was our 'go to' guy after a severe hail storm in 2017. He made sure all required repairs to our home (roof, gutters, windows, etc) were done professionally and efficiently. After the most recent hail storm a few weeks ago, I've once again called on Ryan and ERD to help us work with our insurance company to get our home back to pre-storm condition. Thanks Ryan!!

An unexpected storm left severe hail damage to my roof. I contacted a few companies and I chose ERD due to their excellent customer service from the very beginning. I spoke with Patrick who explained every detail and answered all of my questions regarding labor, cost, and timelines for the job. Devin was the production manager. He kept me informed and made sure things happened according to the plan we discussed. Jenny handled the insurance and was available to keep me updated. I am sure I dealt with others, and everyone was pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend ERD for all of your roofing needs. My new roof is beautiful and the process was as pleasant as one could hope for in an unexpected situation.

After an unfortunate incident at a Starbucks, where a man driving a company truck displayed some extremely disrespectful language and comments towards another woman in line I was pleased that an owner called me back and addressed the employee's behavior. The owner was apologetic and showed remorse. I appreciated the phone call and his willingness to make it right and address the issue with the employee.

August 2017 Exterior Remodel and Design gave me the best bid out of four bids I got for new roof and gutters. Ryan Scribner and his crew was exceptional in professionalism and courtesy. Tim worked with us to fix the hail damage to our roof and gutters this summer. He was very patient and thorough in walking us through the claim process, the repair work, and he kept in touch as the work took place to make sure we were pleased. He was easily accessible and prompt with replies and answers to our questions. We would definitely recommend working with this company!

They started work on my house last August and still haven't finished (March). They haven't contacted me once during the whole process, the only communication is when I call them to ask them when they are going to finish. They never let me know when they were going to be doing the work they did do, the only way I would know if they had been there was when I found trash in the yard that was part of my old gutters. The downspouts installed were the wrong color last fall and that still hasn't been fixed. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Every time I've called they claim to be too busy for my job, which means they are prioritizing new customers over me. Wish I would've given my money to a different company.

I would like to tell how great of a job your company did on my house they went above and beyond what I had expected. I would recommend this company for work on your home. They fixed problems that I did not know my house even had. What a great job from start to finish. The work they did was excellent! Give this company a try, you will not be disappointed. I would like to also add that John from customer service was excellent. He explained everything that was going on and kept me in the loop the whole time. Great job!

Due to hail, this was my second roof in three years. Comparing the two companies, this company's crew was far and away the best in keeping the trash under control, and meticulous in after job cleanup. Very impressed.

Highly reccomend this roofing and design contractor. Our roof and gutters were damaged by hail and needed to be replaced. We have a 4 foot overhang and wanted to eliminate gutters and install a stainless steel facsia. They found a source to fabricate the stainless steel and they professionally installed it. They did a great job on the roof and corrected some attic venting deficiency we had. They did an excellent cleanup job after the roofing work was done.
