My stoop was falling apart, which was letting water into my basement. When I contacted eTech Masonry I received a prompt response and evaluation of the work to be done to resolve the problem. These gentlemen were thorough and professional throughout the entire process. While I understand this type of labor is not cheap, their pricing was fair and everything was explained to me before moving forward. I very much appreciate their business and will definitely use them in the future.

Matt and the guys were great they did my basement for me and let me tell you it looks beautiful.

Matt and his team at E-Tech did a great job rebuilding my front steps. He gave me a very fair price and was available and responsive throughout the entire job. When they removed the bricks, we discovered the cement blocks beneath were corroded due to the water seeping in over time. This meant there was more unexpected work to be done, however he gave me options to choose from on how to proceed. Matt is a business person who keeps his word and cares very much about his integrity and making sure his clients are happy with the job. His workers left the space clean after the job was done and made sure the finish work was neat. I’m very happy with the job that was done. My neighbors noticed what a great job was done and decided to have E-Tech do repairs as well. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest, reasonable, and thorough job for their cement work in Jersey City or Hudson County. Thank you Matt and team!

We had tried other companies with no success, but this crew finally fixed our persistent basement leaks by combining a sump system with proper sealing. It’s been dry through multiple storms.

A musty odor lingered in our finished basement. Their waterproofing system took care of the hidden moisture and gave us confidence to use the space again without worry.

Our chimney base was separating from the roofline. They realigned the masonry, reinstalled the flashing, and sealed the joints—it’s now watertight and structurally sound.

There was a visible bulge forming in our basement wall. They reinforced it from the inside, sealed off all water entry points, and explained everything clearly throughout the process—highly professional.

Water seepage had started warping our basement floorboards. They did a complete inspection, added interior drainage, and waterproofed everything—no more damage, and we feel much more at ease.

Our old chimney was crumbling and leaking during every rainstorm. They restored the masonry, rebuilt the upper portion, and installed a waterproof cap—now it looks solid and functions flawlessly.

We dealt with damp basement walls for years without a clear solution. Their team not only repaired the foundation cracks but waterproofed the entire space with precision—it’s now completely dry and smells fresh.

Matt and his team did a great job in our backyard.
It was unusable as it was. As they progressed, they identified some few other issues with explained everything very diligently, proposing solutions. They were available in quite short notice, worked quickly, even organizing themselves in poor weather.
They cleaned up well after them!
Long story short, we can now enjoy outdoors, grilling, grow some herbs!
And we have a plan for them to come back for more work next Spring!

Met Matt after a brief chat and we discussed repair of a chimney. He gave me a price and we agreed and when he inspected the chimney he showed me a video of the bricks that he was pointing. The video showed movement of the top layer of bricks and a deteriorated chimney sleeve or liner. We discussed a n additional job with additional pricing. The job was done on time and the cleanup was taken care of very well. Honesty as well as integrity are what I can add to the review

Matt was very nice and honest, work was beautifully done and fast, the workers very respectful. Our home had a “facelift” and it looks like a new home. Very happy.

It was a good thing Matt rang our doorbell. The top of the chimney looked like it needed repointing but in reality it was in a very bad state of disrepair - had to be rebuilt from the roof up. Now it looks fantastic. While we were at it, we had him repoint the chimney and make some post winter repairs to the brick front steps. Professional, fair, thorough, and neat. In and out in 2 1/2 days.

ETECH removed my old chimney from the roof line that was in very bad shape and built a beautiful new one. They did an excellent job and did a great job cleaning up.

Etech Masonry repaired our front and back stairs. The front steps had cracks on the slabs and top landing which was causing water damage to the bricks and mortar. The back steps just needed to be ground and repointed. Matt was very informative and explained everything that needed to be done. His team had the job done quick and cleaned up everything nice.
