These guys did work on my neighbor's place, so i had them come by to check out some things we were concerned with. Al and his associate did a survey of the whole roof, found things i didn't even know were occurring, and solved problems in a pretty smart, economic way.

I contacted Elite Roofing after they did some work for a neighbor, an artisan and craftsman himself. After using a drone to assess the situation they proposed a solution. Friendly, easy-going, and professional, this team is serious and committed to high-quality solutions for your roofing issues. The work crew was punctual and collegial, and they completed the job swiftly. The pride Elite takes in its work is apparent and well-founded. One should want no less for their home. I consider myself fortunate to have been a beneficiary of their services. Kudos all around.

After working with the Elite Roofing Team, I wished that I had found them earlier, would have been able to save some money. I had a very bad leaking problem inside my house. After calling Elite, Al and his team came out to check and was able to tell me what the problem was and what needed to be fixed. Even with a very busy schedule they offer to put a temporary tarp over my roof to help with the leaking from the constant rain until they were able to come work on the roof. Al was very detailed in explaining what needed to be done and gave me a good price. On the day of the job, they arrived early and helped with replacing the whole roof and putting in a new gutter system. I am thankful to Al and his team for doing an amazing job. I also want to thank Sophie for the great communication from the start to end with setting up the schedule, doing the contract and sending over the pictures. Elite was great. I got my roof silver coated and gutters cleaned and gutter guards installed. They provided pictures of the work which was great.

They were quick to respond when I mentioned that there were no pictures of the new gutter guards, and realized the omission in their work. They were back the next day to complete and furnished the new pictures showing the guards.

I recently had a cracked skylight that needed repair- while waiting for the skylight to come in we had some heavy rains and I started to have leaking coming from the cracks in the skylight. The Elite team got back to my frantic request for help quickly and expedited the process so that the skylight was replaced before the next big rain (within a day of sending the email, they were able to help me). I am very grateful for their speedy help. Also the owner’s wife Karyn, who also works on the team, reached out to make sure everything was ok afterwards and that I had no further issues. I need some work on the roof and called three roofing contractors to get a sense of cost. Elite was the only team to take a look at the roof before giving me a proposal. While Elite gave me the highest quote they took the time to explain their proposal and show me why they were proposing the work. It was a no brainer for me to go with a company clearly interested in building a relationship with its clients.

Elite took care of the permitting process and finished the work quickly to my satisfaction. Sophie handled communications and made sure I knew what to expect when - from when the team would come to do the work to scheduling the inspection to close out the permit. I even got a follow-up email checking in to make sure there were no issues after the next big rain storm tested out the new roof.

We used Elite recently and couldn’t have had a better experience! After getting multiple quotes for the roof, not only were they the most cost effective, but communication and execution of the work was unmatched. We 100% would recommend Elite and definitely will be working with them again at our other properties.

Received a proposal from Al, and politely decided not to move forward due to some questionable itemized expenses and overall cost of repair being one of the highest out of all quotes received. Al’s response was as follows “So you think you learned when you spent 13k for a roof rip that leaks, did they come back, let me guess they wanted more money. Its ok cause I know why your leaking but I didn't put the main reason on the estimate, and Im sure whoever is going to do the work will not find it cause its not in a logical area. But your good” Very unprofessional demeanor and poor customer service. I may have used them for another service in the future, but after such a demeaning response, I’ll make sure to stay clear. Products they use are also borderline HD quality and not commercial.

*EDIT - Response to Company* - I never called him last year & I have not called him more than once. They followed up with ME on the ONE proposal I received to see if I wanted to move forward where I politely declined. I am not trying to use their proposal to get “cheaper work”, money isn’t the issue, I just want the job done correctly. They quoted me to add a plethora of unnecessary add-ons like mushroom caps on a 1,200 sq foot roof that already has a very large Gable vent… several other unnecessary repairs were recommended. The original roof installed was done poorly, god forbid a homeowner has to deal with a poor contractor and has to pursue damages. That is completely besides the point. The roofer who I am moving forward with to do the fix is fully insured and licensed - Al ‘the owner’ is just pulling out false information to slander me back as he’s completely unprofessional and lacks common decency. I took up essentially none of their time, they gave me a quote, I asked 2 questions via email, they followed up via email, and I declined to move forward. Not once have I called him after receiving the proposal. To anyone reading this, you can clearly see just from their response the arrogant nature of how they run this business. Avoid.

I called Elite Roofing because I was interested in getting my old cedar shake siding replaced with all new vinyl siding on my house in Bayonne. Not only did Al walk me through all the different options in terms of brands and colors, but gave me a few other suggestions to enhance my property even more. They work extremely fast - tore up and re-installed a new roof in just two days. Al is very easy to work with and was completely transparent when it came to pricing. He talked me through the whole process and explained everything with the right amount of detail.

Experienced, reliable and very competent. They just replaced my roof. It was a complex job that needed a lot of trouble-shooting to get the work done. My home is over a hundred years old. They were able to spot problems and always knew how to fix them. It's also easy to get in touch with them. They're good about replying to emails, answering the phone, voicemails, etc.

I’ve been having some leaking during heavy rainstorms, I called Elite Roofing. I explained to them my issues, they sent someone over the next day to inspect. Elite sent me the pictures taken from my roof and called me to show me the trouble areas of my roof. And explained in detail what it would take to make repairs. They sent me a quote and a couple of days later contacted me because substantial rain was forecast in the next couple of days. Elite came that Friday, made necessary repairs, took a lot of pictures to show me what they did. On Saturday we had that torrential downpour that was predicted. And I didn’t have any leaks.

Elite is my go-to roofer. The most recent project was shingle replacement on a slanted, forward facing roof section (I have a flat roof that Elite sealed a few years ago). The staff were completely professional, their work was excellent and efficient. Communication with the front office is always friendly and a breeze. I did not need to monitor their progress because I trust the people at Elite. They left my surroundings completely clean. Even though Elite is not the cheapest, the value of their service is excellent. Don’t go cheap on roofing because you’ll pay the price later.

The Elite Roofing staff was very efficient—my new roof was completed in a day and a half. The owner was on site supervising every step of the project and explained the job in detail. It’s not something that I’d have wanted anyone to do who didn’t have a real knowledge about how to prevent moisture and how to integrate it perfectly with the roof. I needed two windows replaced on my home in Jersey City and was having trouble finding a contractor that was fully licensed and insured. Luckily, I came across Elite Roofing (as I saw they do all exterior work as well) and was able to get them to come to take a look at the windows and give me a quote. Not only did Al inform me that his business was fully licensed and insured, but he was able to provide me with documentation and COIs, which other companies were not able to provide me with. I've worked with other contractors in the past who claimed that they had insurance, but when it came down to it, they had the bare minimum, which is something I'd recommend that other homeowners be wary of.
