I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jose and his team at Forerunner Home Improvements on several projects, including roof patchwork, new gutter liners, and a closet repair due to a water leak. Their work is consistently prompt, thorough, and reliable. Jose takes the time to explain each step of the process in a way that's easy to understand, without ever talking down to you, which I truly appreciate as someone newer to home ownership.

I could not be happier with Jose and his team. We had a major leak in our facade due to a prior contractor not installing the siding correctly. Jose and his team tore off the old siding, replaced the flashing, installed the waterproofing, and replaced the drywall on the interior where the leak was, all in a few days! The kicker for us was they did all this work while my wife was in the hospital giving birth to our daughter - Jose did all the work professionally and urgently understanding out situation. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if I need repairs.

They did an excellent job on my moving project and were a pleasure to work with. Friendly, professional, and very helpful. I will definitely keep them in mind for any future projects. Highly recommend!

Jose came to my apartment for a consultation on our bathroom and hanging a shelf on the wall. He came promptly and gave me a lot of advice. He then later came to fix the issue in my bathroom and hung the shelf which came out great. I definitely recommend Jose and his company.

Jose and his crew were extremely professional. This was a big project for me as I’ve only owned my house for three years. So it was very nerve wrecking for me. The moment I met Jose I could tell he was a person of integrity and honesty, that made me feel a bit at ease. The project was completed in two days, the crew painted some interior walls that had water damage. When they finished, the cleanup was impeccable. Not one piece of nail or debris was left behind. They even cleaned the leaves in my patio! You can tell Jose and his team take pride in the work they do and it definitely showed. He sent me a post email with pictures of before and after with detail explanations of all that was done. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking to get their roof done and/or any other service they offer. It was truly a pleasure to work with them.

THIS BROTHER DUO ARE TERRIFIC! They have moved items for me twice, and both times were excellent. Jose will bend over backwards to work with you and give you exactly what you are looking for. On top of that they are very reasonable and do what they say they are going to do. What impresses me further is that they have a great eye to keeping everything safe and from damage. They make sure that everything is clean and protected and free from harm. I have not had one chip, nor scratch. I cannot recommend them more than this. You will be pleased.

Jose and his team at Forerunner were just what we needed and more! They were able to do a full tear and installation of our garage roof within a day and provided thorough updates. From the very start, Jose made it hassle free when trying to decide what direction to go with concerning our severely damaged roof, explained in detail his process, and provided an affordable quote that didn't break the bank. We couldn't be more content with the result! His team even provided a quote and fix for a leak on the main roof that occurred prior to them arriving. Very grateful for Jose at Forerunner Home Improvement. He got me a detailed quote right away and scheduled a call with me to go through each line item to make sure I knew what I was getting. They used the best materials for the new roof we had installed at my mother's house. They showed up on time and the work was completed on schedule and in accordance to the quote. They answered all of our questions thoroughly and patiently. Jose is an honest and detail oriented professional and it was a pleasure to work with him, in fact when my roof needs replacement they will be my first call.

Working with Jose and his team was wonderful. They helped us unload a uhaul into a self storage unit. We had a tricky out of state move and ended up being much delayed for our arranged time. They were super understanding of the delay, and generously waited for us. We ended up arriving at the storage facility AFTER the entire timeframe we had booked for their help. They were meticulous and careful with our items, helping us fit them into a unit that was unfortunately smaller than expected. They were masters at the game of box and furniture tetris. When we thought we needed to disassemble some furniture they grabbed tools from the truck. Highly recommend for your moving needs.

Jose is absolutely amazing! I hired Forerunner Home Improvement to paint my Livingroom, mount my TV and install a ceiling fan. Jose and his brother came in and did an amazing job. They both were very professional, kind and efficient. I am not at all good with interior design and layout and needed guidance with color and tv placement and Jose was incredibly helpful. My Livingroom looks stunning! I intend to continue working with Jose and his crew. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My wife and I used Jose’s services to help us move in and he was incredible. They were flexible with where they met us, did an awesome job repacking, moving, and taking care of all our furniture. At one point I thought out couch was just not going to make it into our apartment, but somehow they figured out the one angle that would work after I had basically given up. Can’t recommend them enough.

Jose and his team are the absolute best! They are very professional, quick and efficient. They have come to my apartment to build a large sectional couch, barstools, and a massive dresser. Everything remains in great shape and looks beautiful.

Jose and his team are quality professionals that can take on any task. I hired him to help with several projects. He helped me move into my home, and made the whole move efficient and stress free. I had purchased a home security system that he also helped install (even gave me advice as to their placement throughout). I also hired him to help me set up my new office. After surveying the space he took the time to help research and choose out furniture. He then planned a layout for everything. Needless to say he not only assembled everything efficiently, but really went the extra mile to have everything placed perfectly. He always provides quality work for me, and I’ve relied on him for so much. He is by far the best contractor I've worked with!

We hired José for an assortment of general tasks around the house, including repairing a folding door that I thought was a goner and rebuilding and finishing a closet that had an old, failing wire system installed. José and his colleague were professional and meticulous (and were very kind and tolerant to my young daughter and dog), and the work was all top notch. We have a number of things in the house we need to do, and we're happy to have a trusted handyman and professional available for the tasks!

Jose and his team were exactly what we needed. They were on time, so pleasant and friendly to have in our home and completed the work expertly and efficiently. They thought of every detail and were active in communicating their thoughts with me so the job could be done perfectly. As a young business, they are very obviously very genuine and eager to do a great job (which they did). I wouldn't hesitate to pick them again for any sort of home repair.

Hired Jose to help unload a full pickup truck during an apartment move. He was great and made the move incredibly quick and easy. It was 100 degrees out and we had 4 flights of steps to go up, and having Jose was a lifesaver. Jose was responsive and very helpful, would recommend him to anyone!

He was professional and super efficient, and even showed up earlier than his scheduled time when we told him we'd been sitting in front of our apartment all afternoon after a long drive cross- country. Jose is a treasure. He is extremely fast and efficient and he does excellent work. He has a very broad skill set—he can do basically anything—and he is responsive, organized, professional, on time, communicative, and trustworthy. Call him! But not too much, I still need a lot of his time!

Jose is the most amazing, magical, helpful person. He arrived on time & didn’t flinch when told that another worker had canceled at the last minute. He worked HARD moving large, heavy pieces of furniture, basically on his own. He also came with a full supply of tools to take apart antique pieces of solid furniture. He was pleasant, professional, and incredibly kind. As a tiny, older woman, that means the world. He gets an A+++ and I am a tough grader!

These guys are the best, they helped me furnish my condo after relocating from NY. From moving, furniture assembly, customizing my furniture to suit my needs, sink and faucet repairs, they do it all. Jose is extremely professional and very knowledgeable given his engineering background. I'm glad to know he and his crew can do it all!

Second time working with Jose and 10/10 would recommend!! He knows the in and out of all kinds of furnitures and was even able to help me fix my couch that arrived with two left armrests. He's very professional-- responsive with requests and communicative about details; he was also punctual and efficient, and most importantly he knows and cares a lot about furniture safety when assembling. Glad I hired Jose and the Forerunner team. Not only did Jose help renovate my rental, he also helped me find a great tenant within a month! They repainted the apartment, refinished the kitchen, installed new appliances and locks. My favorite part is he salvaged our butcherblock countertops and made them look new again. The guys at Forerunner did a great job on my shingle roof back in October. They were quick, efficient and provided some of the best clean up I've seen. My home looks great with a brand roof, and I no longer have any leaks. Process was explained thoroughly and they provided a competitive rate. I have already recommended them to my friends and family.
