ERC

I had some shingles to be replaced and and my gutters needed to be cleaned out. I got quotes from 3 companies including ERC. ERC was by far the most reasonable. After receiving their quote, we were not pressured by repeated phone calls asking if we had made a decision.

ERC showed up on time, completed the work very quickly and even repaired a portion of the gutter that was damaging a roof shingle. This hazard was not included in the original quote, nor was it seen during the original quote. ERC repaired this hazard free of charge. This demonstrates that ERC was looking out for our best interest as home owners by conducting another detailed inspection of our roof. After all of their work was completed they left the area clean. I would recommend ERC without reservation and plan on using them in the future. It was very nice to deal with such a professional and honest company.

We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom and so we found ERC Roofing via Google. You never know who will show up when you use a business like this for the first time but we were more than pleasantly surprised. They showed up right on time, were so courteous and attentive and answered all of our questions. They initially gave us the quote and allowed us time to discuss and then promptly returned to complete the job once scheduled.

They did an amazing job quickly and efficiently and there was no sign that they were even there working on the roof except for the fact that our leak was fixed and they fixed a detached gutter that we had overlooked. We will definitely use them for all of our roofing needs from now on.

n our four decades of home ownership, we have never encountered as professional and competent a contractor as Matthew Bolton. His work ethic, honesty and reliability are remarkable.

Matthew came to the scene immediately,assessed the extent of water damage (finding less wall involvement than our
insurance appraiser), and spent seven hours readying the soaked area for drying. He worked into the evening to remove the wet carpet and pad, clear out furniture and place eight fans and a dehumidifier.

He then gave us an extremely detailed estimate for his services, including schematics and photos of the damaged
areas. He would have coordinated with our insurer, but the latter had already settled our claim.

Impressively, Matthew took the initiative in finding the exact replacement carpeting and bringing samples of laminate
flooring. That saved me time and legwork, hugely appreciated.

Matthew was a mastermind in coordinating the restoration phase. He used excellent subcontractors for each step, and
always called to tell us who was coming and when. I was impressed with their quality of work and respectful demeanor.

His content movers were superb: they respected our concern for our computer, Comcast router and other office
equipment, which didn’t “miss a beat.” They numbered desk components so that all was restored to its proper place. They even photographed bookshelves, so books would be re-placed exactly.

The carpet subcontractor was meticulous in his work, expertly stretching the new carpet and getting into very small (under
stairway) spaces. Carpenters and painters restored the baseboards to “good as new” condition.

Working with Matthew took all the stress out of dealing with our mini-disaster. We highly recommend his services.
