I had Servpro come to remediate mold in my basement, was yessed to death on all my questions about removing and replacing my flex ducts and insulation. Was given a quote for $11k and they left me, my wife, my 3 year old and 6 week old without air conditioning on a Friday at 4pm. Bait and switch tactics. I could have pulled the insulation out and sprayed Decon30 for less than $800 for material and dump cost. Their men showed up nearly 10am the first day, nearly 11 the second day and 1230 on the last day working half days and taking a full hour lunch. Nearly 1/3 of my basement was not mold remediated as is evident from dirt, mold and spiderwebs. Was told they would build a wall to my garage to do a negative pressure system which they did not.

I told them the vent registers are not properly sealed and was assured the chemicals they make are safe. We had to evacuate our house because the stench of the chemicals made us short of breath and my 6 week old was coughing non stop.

The day they left I asked Tanner about the closed ducts and he said “oh, you’ll need an hvac tech for that.” Upon going to get my checkbook, Tanner split to avoid confrontation. It cost me emergency hours hvac and nearly $800 just to have 2 flex ducts put to my master bedroom so my family could have AC.

If someone asks if you are you able to replace the ductwork when you remove it, don’t tell them yes. I could have hired 1 company to do all the work instead of piece meaning everything together. Sad thing is the mold remediation was actually done by another company.

BJ, Andres and Evan showed up and got to work assessing the situation, setting equipment, and most of all respecting me and my home as they worked. 2 and 1/2 days later, its "like it never even happened!" ;)

As bad as this was for me, I was so happy to find someone who cared for me and walked me through all this. Dorian contacted me and came to see my loss . He entered my home and began by writing an estimate on the damage. He was so nice and thorough. Next morning Crystal D and Evan T. were on the clean up right away. I did not have to do anything. They took the mess over and do a wonderful job. large fans were set up and ran the weekend to dry everything out. They returned Monday morning to finish and remove their equipment. everyone was professional and did everything to help me. I appreciate all of them,, so much.

Our hvac unit in the attic leaked through the second-floor ceiling,
and floor, through to our first-floor ceiling and floor. We called SerPro and they sent out their no.1 team lead by James Witcher. They were quick to take care of the damage and when it came time to work with our insurance company, it was handled efficiently and thoroughly for us. We are in our late 70's and the stress Mr. Witcher took off of us by handling so much of the detail work, we are forever grateful.

I called ServPro on Thursday around noon and the were there with a lot of dryers and dehumidifier’s to save our carpet from the water pipe leak. The carpet suffered no damage due to their speed in working the problem. The drywall and laminate flooring in the bathrooms had to be replaced which they took care of in a timely manner.
