During the inspection of our home, we encountered an issue with the insulation around our HVAC system. We called Environmental Insulation and Contracting LLC. Brian came out to review the issue. He answered my questions and concerns and then scheduled a date and time to address the issue. The issue was addressed with a quick turn around and we are 100% satisfied with the work that was completed. I would highly recommend Environmental Insulation and Contracting LLC! THANKS Brian!

We are so happy with the closed cell spray foam that you did on our new home. Blake was helpful and proactive in helping us solve the dilemma we were in when it was discovered that the rafters in our home were built wrong and not according to blueprint by an incompetent contractor. But Environmental stepped up and helped us on our way to finishing the project. I will never forget that this company saved us at a point in our project when the going got tough., and encouraged us that all was not lost!!

My neighbors had their new addition spray foamed, and the contractor utilized a large trailer with an onboard diesel generator to power the sprayer. This was parked just down the alley across from my place. Being downwind, I began to smell diesel exhaust in my backyard and house. The unit ran about 6 hours yesterday and when they returned today I expressed my concerns with the operator. He basically blew me off and the unit ran for another 4 hours today. I could literally not be outside in my own backyard and had to close up my home against the exhaust pollution.

This is not an eco friendly business! Spewing diesel exhaust and noise for hours on end affecting everyone upwind without any concerns for air quality can hardly be considered environmentally friendly, and was downright unneighborly too.

I hired Environmental Insulation and Contracting to remove insulation and re-insulate my crawlspace after the big flood of 2021. Blake was great to deal with during the quote and scheduling process. The crew came out quickly, the re-insulation job looks great, and the price was very competitive. I hope I don't need to re-insulate my crawlspace again anytime in the near future, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They really helped out a lot of us in the north county!

I contacted this business to help me prepare my house for sale. They added and upgraded insulation in the attic, leaving it clean and snug. They replaced insulation where needed in the crawl space, leaving it tidy. They removed old insulation under the sunroom, but were unable to install new insulation there, which was my only disappointment. Overall, I was very pleased with their work.

Their bid was the lowest; they negotiated on a couple of changes I requested. The work was extremely fast, clean, and well done. However, because a couple of things were left off, I did not give them 5 stars. One was necessary for me and quickly corrected; the other was refunded for having been quoted yet left off, but not necessary. So, overall, the job was done well and knowledgeable, and I would recommend the company.

Environmental Insulation was great to do business with. We asked several companies for quotes for attic insulation. Their price was the best and I was impressed with how efficient they were. The staff was enthusiastic and know their stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

We had previously worked with this company, so I called Rod after buying a new property. His crews removed old insulation and installed the new product. Soon afterward, we saw insulation coming out of the heat ducts in every room. Rod sprang into action, securing the services of heating professionals who were able to find a breach in the return air side where the insulation was being drawn into the system (none of which was the fault of Environmental Insulation) and then another contractor to clean out the ducts. All is well now, the house is tight and warm, and the energy demand is much lower. Rod’s crew was great; competent, professional, and courteous. They were also careful not to leave a mess behind. These guys will be our first call when a need arises.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
