In April of 2023 I used Energy Shield services for solar panels on my house. They were very professional and knowledgeable.

They gave me a schedule for paperwork and permitting, contract signing and installation, final inspections and grid connection as well as monitoring and power sales.
Energy Shield was so profession in communicating through emails, texts, and phone calls through all aspects and duration of the whole process. If I called with questions, I always received immediate call backs, if they were unable to answer a question they would say so and then say they would get the answer and promptly get back to me with the answer. All of the scheduling was accurate and met deadlines, the installation crew were excellent, friendly, professional, and were capable of overcoming all unexpected obstacles they were confronted with. The installation was great, everything was cleaned up and all work was inspected by town officials and power supplier inspection. Everything passed all codes and quality inspections. Now the system has been in operation for over 3 months and works as described and looks great. I am very satisfied with the system and would recommend Energy Shield to anyone.

I called Energy Shield of NH for an estimate after I notice a portion of my roof was sunken in, which is a shocking thing to see in Oct in New Hampshire. When Trevor came out to see me, he notified me that my roof probably wouldn't make the Winter, but that even though they were almost past the roofing time of year, they would take care of my roof for me. This was a huge relief! After I got 5 estimates for a new roof, Trevor's original estimate was very close to the lowest, and when I spoke to him honestly, he was able to meet the lowest price quote. The lowest price from one of the most reputable companies in NH? That was a Win-Win! Two weeks later and my roof is done & looking beautiful, and Trevor kept me informed up to, on the day of and after my roofing job. Absolutely no negatives from Energy Shield. I was recommended to them from my neighbor down the street, and I would whole-heartedly recommend them as well.

I can't say enough about this company! They have completely replaced five roofs on our property. We have a camp with many buildings. Last year we were hit with a storm and Energy Shield came in and replaced 4 roofs in just a matter of weeks.

Trevor who works with us in getting everything set up is professional, responsive and timely. If you have been trying to get any construction done you know how important these three things are! I understand weather, supply chain and employment issues, but I just want to have someone telling me what is going on. Trevor always does! I never worry about a project getting done well or on time with them, I know it will!

Energy Shield also does an incredible job cleaning up. Being a kids camp it is important not to have nails, or other materials laying around. At the end of each day they leave the site straightened up and materials covered. Then at the end of the project they do a major clean up leaving the site better than when they arrived!

Energy shield installed a solar array on my roof in February of 2023. The job was complete in one day and activated shortly after. In three billing cycles my electric bill is now - $425 . The entire process was handled by Lee Houston who did an excellent job explaining the entire process to us. From beginning to end the experience was flawless.
They’re customer service is excellent. Never had to chase down or wait for an answer on any question asked. I highly recommend using this company for solar or any of their services. Its nice to have a company stand by their work and service in this day and age. I recommend them very highly. And no i am not a family member or friend, just a happy customer who doesnt have an electric bill anymore.

Energy Shield installed 20 solar panels at my house. Every touch point with the company from sales personnel to installers was polite, professional and friendly. They did a great job and we were left very satisfied with the on-time project completion. 100% recommended.

Really great professional installation team for my solar panels. There was a little delay on the install due to a snowstorm and some supply issues, but only a couple of days. They were good about answering questions, demonstrating what they were doing, and courteous about needing to be in and out of the house for wiring. A couple of them even came over to do some extra prep work when another job they had finished early.
The only thing I could say that wasn't great was the delivery of the supplies, as some of them were put right across my garage door, blocking me in, but that's not something the install team had control over, and I let the salesman know so hopefully they will be more conscious of that in the future. Overall good experience!

Energy Shield came out and helped me put on a new roof, followed by roof top solar. They were responsive through a project that was delayed a few times through no fault of theirs. They were price competitive with the estimate that I got from another company.

We hired Energy Shield of New Hampshire to do a roof replacement and solar panel installation. We have an 1895 have home in very tight quarters in an old neighborhood. Lee and the team did a very timely and high-quality job on the estimate, the permits, and the job itself. They also worked closely with the neighbors to prevent any damage to property or vehicles. Energy Shield provided installation of Solar panels for my home. They were the most thorough in their inspection of the property prior to the proposal. The services were done accurately to the contract. The staff took care of the permitting and financing application with minimal work on my end. Pricing was fair and comparable to other installers. I was particularly impressed with the installer crew. Punctual, hard working, courteous, and very professional. NO mess left behind. Not even from the electrician (not to knock the profession but this has not been my experience as I usually find clippings and debris just everywhere after an electrician finishes in my home) My system is waiting to be operational as the utility company is behind a bit, but I don't anticipate any issues. Finally, I would say communication was very clear and Elijah took the time to go over all our questions and never made us feel like we were taking too much of his time as we went deep into the details. He was very pleasant to work with.

The team at Energy Shield was outstanding. They responded to inquire within minutes and had me connected with the sales rep same day. They were out the next day for site visit and had quotes within 2 business days. They were very competitive and worked with my budget. They were able to get us dried in and roof on in 1 week. Solar took longer due to permitting and Eversource approvals. Everything is installed now and working great. They have been the only contractors to come in on budget and sooner than expected.. We recently got a new steel roof put on our home in Belmont by Energy Shield NH. The whole process, from start to finish, was easy, clear, prompt, and professional. We planned a date in advance, and the schedule of payments was clear and on a schedule based on when the materials were ordered. They came out to inspect the roof a bit before the installation date. The materials were dropped off the day before the installation of the roof, and the crew showed up as scheduled the morning of. I was working from home upstairs the day of the installation, and was able to get through several Zoom and phone meetings despite the guys working on the roof. The whole process of removing the previous shingle material and installing the new roof occurred within one day. The guys were great about cleaning up the old materials, and the dumpster was removed the day after the installation. We are very happy with our roof, and plan on installing solar with Energy Shield in the near future. Thank you guys!

We have been plagued with intermittent roof leaks ever since our roof was completed 20+ years. Our home is located directly on a lake with one side facing west and the other facing east. Consequently, it's buffeted by any severe storm with accompanying high winds. We had almost given up hope of ever solving all the issues until we hired Ed Stone and Energy Shield to redo the roof.
They have been the total and complete answer to every roof leak we've had in our house. They completed the job on time with NO hidden fees attached. Ed remained on site to ensure the job was complete and to our satisfaction. He even returned to resolve one small issue to complete.

When materials for roof arrived a month early, Ed from energy shield adjusted their work schedule and was able to arrive within a week.
When work began, the crew arrived and went right to work. They were able to handle and remedy a number of unanticipated (previous workmanship) issues with professionalism and solved them with us to get it done properly.
Their workers performed a long day of difficult work and even came back the next morning to button up a few finish pieces and inspect their final work.

Josh and his team did an AMAZING job. We first hired him to install a mansard roof on our 3 family in Boston, which is not an easy task in general and the finished product was beautiful! We get compliments all the time on how great it looks. Not only did the team do a great job but you could see their attention to detail, not just in the work product but even the way they cleaned up at the end of every day. They did such a great job that we subsequently hired them to replace an existing shingle roof with a metal roof on our home in NH because we’d had a problem with a leaking corner in the winter for years! But the roof looked great, they were incredibly efficient and got it done in a few days, left no trace of having been there and most importantly we haven’t had a leak since!! We would strongly recommend Energy Shield of NH for any and all roofing needs!

I had this Company put a Metal Roof on my Mobile Home. The owner/manager Ed came out to fully inspect and measure the roof. He gave a written quote quickly! He was patient as I got more quotes to compare the quality offered from others - and of course decided to go with Energy Shield of NH. I am so glad I did! The workers were professional, on time, got done quickly and even went around with a magnet afterwards to make sure there wasn't any metal left. It looks fantastic, and knowing they would come back with any concerns made it a sealed deal for me. So happy!

After being denied by two other local companies, Co-owner Mark immediately responded and told me he could help. I gave him the details and he promptly responded with an estimate. After having a bad experience with another roofing company, I was very pleased to find Energy Shield. They were quick to respond and really good with communication over time. I never felt like I was getting the run around. They were nice to deal with and there were no high pressure sales tactics that we encountered with another company. They did a nice job replacing the roof and the soffits. I needed to have someone I trusted and I felt they were honest and their price was fair! The guys who worked on our house were really pleasant. I heard a lot of laughing and singing (no swearing). I'd hire them again in a heart beat!

Energy Shield of NH installed about 50 windows for us in a mixed commercial/residential condo building. Their crew was very professional and friendly, and they did a wonderful job in a very organized and efficient manner, and it was done on time and on budget. Great experience.

Energy Shield did a fantastic job stripping off two layers of shingles, putting down a new protective underlay, using tarps and plywood to protect the house and then installing a new metal roof. They paid attention to every detail _ using a magnetic roller to pick up nails, screws and bits of metal that weren’t caught by tarps. They got paint matching the house to touch up any dings. The crew was professional and courteous. They also were friendly and we enjoyed having them. They were so respectful of our property. Highly recommend Energy Shield.

Josh, James, and Trevor were efficient, professional, and did an excellent job removing our old roof and installing a beautiful metal roof. They took care to protect our property and landscaping and when they were finished returned everything to its proper place. I've never had a roofing company I would recommend but these guys are the exception. Communication with the office was great and if I was ever going to have to put another roof on, I'd call them first. Also: when it's hot out, they do enjoy when you offer up popsicles.

I contacted Energy Shield of NH due to water stains on my ceiling. It was the best decision I made. I was impressed by their immediate response. You must use Energy Shield of NH! Over the years we've had much work done to the house. They were recommended by my contractor who did all my inside work. I was at never disappointed. They took the time to do everything perfect, in a timely fashion and cleaned up every day better then your mom would have, lol. This was our first time with a metal roof and it looks amazing. Now I will never need to replace it.
Both Josh and Nick were great but I can't say enough about Trevor, Francis and Jim who did the install. Great attitudes ,respectful of the property and was entertained by their singing as well. You could tell they enjoyed what they did and took great pride.

i originally did this roof myself so I was very particular with how i wanted it done , I didn't have to say a word everything was done the same way I would have done it , only MUCH faster . We worked with Energy Shield for a quote on an existing roof replacement. Josh was really professional, on time and produced a really competitive quote. Unfortunately, we chose another company because we wanted a Standing seam system.

The project was stripping and shingling a 40 x 60 barn roof.The team arrived on time with a dumpster delivered the day before. They set up quickly and four men began stripping the old shingles. Tarps were laid out to catch the old shingles and other debris. By noon they began to shingle the roof and they finished by around 6 PM. Of course there were a few pieces of debris that were missed but that was expected. In all they did a fantastic and very quick job. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again and will to replace the main house roof. You can expect a very good price and an excellent result.

Energy Shield was great! It did start out a little rocky with a no call/no show on the first scheduled quote appointment. After that, they were prompt and quick. They removed the rubber mat which had been retaining water in multiple locations. A layer of shingles covered some poorly spaced barn board which made up the structure of the roof. Explaining why it started raining the exact day I left the fiance home alone with the dogs while I drove to Tennessee. They completely stripped the roof and replaced it with plywood and re-shingled. I was expecting a high price tag with the current cost of lumber, but they quoted a reasonable price that fell under my initial expectations. Overall experience was Very Good and I would have no hesitation reaching out for any additional work that falls out of my wheel house.

I’m very happy with my new roof. I told josh what I was looking for and josh and his crew completed it in a timely manner at a high quality. I will defiantly use them again for any exterior projects.

Energy Shield applied blown-in insulation for our home, built in 1790. In the first heating season since, we have purchased close to half as much oil. Haven't run the numbers yet but from eyeballing receipts for oil this is close to what we've saved. The house is much less drafty and a fair bit quieter. Great service! Great value!

Communication is key and sadly this company can not communicate with me. Phone call after phone call waiting on e mails only to be texted with the wrong name and my phone number has made it clear the line of communication from the company has been severed by them. They will receive nothing but this review from me.

They did a wonderful job. They built steps to our deck and repaired our sliding door to the basement. Were very professional, friendly, and they explained to us everything that was done to correct any problems they found. Will definitely use them if the need arises.

Josh and the crew were very professional and responsive throughout the process of installing our new metal roof. The estimate and contract process was very transparent. When there was an error with part of the order, Josh immediately communicated the situation, took responsibility, and made sure it was resolved. While waiting for some of the materials to arrive we were hit with our worst snow storm in years getting 3 ft of snow. Josh and the crew arrived early the morning after the storm and not only cleared the roof and uncovered the material already on site but also cleared a path around the house and even out to our chicken coop. Throughout the install, the crew was very professional and very detailed. The final result met all of our expectations. I highly recommend their work.

I had Energy Shield come out to give me an estimate only on replacing my asphalt roof. They came out promptly and did not hesitate to throw a ladder up and physically measure exactly the yardage needed and extra work around valleys' and chimneys' that would need to be done. I received a written estimate within 24 hours and now it is up to me to make a decision.

Work was completed in 2 days and the work crew cleaned up virtually all debris from the site. Nick was easy to work with and was very knowledgeable. Very competitive pricing.

The work performed was excellent and quick. The people were great when I was needing to leave the house (roof was over doorway) . Unfortunately, I found out recently a light was broken. Wish I was told when it happened but work, scheduling, quickness and quality
