They were great to deal with until the job started. The nest the original install date twice. Didn't get a hold of anyone when you have any issues. You failed final inspection due to siding not being done correctly. It's been a month and the punch list still has not been finished.

We continue to have issues getting our project finished. I have asked multiple times for a manager to contact me but no success. We had the siding crew come back to fix and finish the punch list but they were unable to finish that day. They left with 2 sections missing off the back of the house and still have not returned to finish. We then had our roof inspected and found that we were missing a section of synthetic underlayment and the drip edge.

Chris came by to give me a quote on some windows. Very professional and personable. No pressure sales or anything like that. Just came in talked and chit chatted about whatever was interesting. Explained everything to me with ease. That is the type of sales we need.

We contacted Energy Catchers in December to have a water damaged patio door replaced. We received the estimate that day and paid the downpayment. The salesperson told us the lead time would be 5-7 weeks. The lead time ended up being more like 13 weeks. Needless to say, we were frustrated during this time. After some difficulty getting in touch with someone, Justin took charge with my project and got the door in quickly. Install only took a couple hours and we are very pleased with the results. While the timeliness of the project, and initial communication could have been better, we have zero complaints with the final results.

Have had two windows already installed and plan on working with them to replace the rest over time. Everyone from the company I have dealt with has been knowledgable and professional. The windows look great and I can't wait to finish the replacements.

I have not decided yet to go with this company for my window, roofing and vinyl needs, but I did appreciate them conforming to my schedule and driving to Fayetteville from Raleigh on a Saturday to give me a no pressure quote. I will update my review if I do receive their services, but I would recommend giving them a chance to provide a quote, the quotes I received I feel were fare to the market value especially coming from an established company.

Energy catchers replaced all of the windows in our home. While we were satisfied with the functionality of the windows, we were disappointed with installation process. Communication with the instillation team was challenging and the team did not keep us informed as to their progress or what to expect. Additionally we had to repeatedly point out inattention to detail and request that the crew retouch areas. While the windows are functional, I was disappointed with the service and would not use this company in the future.

spent time when choosing the type of door I needed and wanted . Very informative demonstration at my home. Everyone I dealt with from point of sale to the installation including office staff were very friendly and professional. I was kept updated on everything as I had a special order that took a little longer. Love my door . Makes such a difference!

I came home to find out that someone had broken into my house. I got everything secured that night myself. The next morning I made several calls and energy catchers were the first to respond. I explained my situation and Travis was there the next day measuring and trying to get the ball rolling. He called me the next day with an estimate and actually met me where I was so we could sign a contract and make a deposit. Met with Mike on that Monday for final measurements. He said it would be a couple of days but called me later and said it would be the next day because someone else had secured a door already. Met them at noon and Kevin got right on it and new door was in and completed a few hours later. Door looks great and is better than my old one. If you need anything give these guys a call. Energy Catchers replaced every window in our home. After gathering several other estimates, Energy Catchers was our last stop. We signed up with Energy Catchers the day that Chris came out to our house. The windows really are a fantastic product, the price was better than most, and the process, from deposit until the install day was made crystal clear. From that day forward, everything proceeded smoothly. Everyone who came out from Energy Catchers was professional, friendly, and extremely competent. Installation was done in one day and the crew was very clean and tidy.
Our windows have been in for two weeks. Using our Nest App, upgrading our windows has resulted in about 30% less A/C time, and the same temperature feels better. We are thrilled with how comfortable the house feels now and we look forward to spending less and using less power.

We replaced all of the windows in our 30 year old home. One of the reasons we chose Energy Catchers was because they would commit to doing everything, including repairing sheet rock damaged from leaking windows and painting the frames. This turned out to be a blessing as while investigating one window leak they discovered mold in the insulation, rotted studs, and a structurally unsound wall. Energy Catchers was able to give me an estimate to repair the damage, which included rebuilding an exterior wall. They did an excellent job.

Energy Catchers provided an excellent service with incredible customer service. The sales rep was very clear in giving us a myriad of options. The office was great at keeping us updated on the project. The installation was quick, efficient and clean. If we need more windows in the future, Energy Catchers will be the first call we make.

Who knew having work done on your home could be so pleasant! What a great experience working with Energy Catchers, they replaced all of my old drafty windows with energy efficient replacement windows, what a difference! Not only have they made my home look great, my utility bill is lower, the outside noise no longer intrudes on my quiet time and the whole process of having them installed was quick and pain free! So, we all dread the time spent getting estimates for home repairs; being pressured, being imposed on, being bamboozeled. Well, wait until you hear this. I just spent a couple of hours with the nicest gentleman, Travis. It was like having my brother talk to me about options for my new entry and storm door. He worked hard to earn my business by being knowledgeable and most of all, respectful. He listened to what I wanted instead of trying to convince me that I wanted something I really didn't. I enjoyed his company and his professionalism. If the install goes as well as the "sales pitch", I've got it made.

I have bought over 20 windows from this company in two different time. They have gave me the best price and done great job every time the owner of this company Justin is a great down to earth person and will do anything to please you as a customer. In the process of gathering bids for new energy efficient windows, Energy Catchers sent out Travis Trent. Travis was quite pleasant to have in my home. It was honestly more like a friendly visit than a sales call. No high pressure, no "go get your wife". Just here's our product, and we'll do whatever it takes to get you your windows and make you a satisfied customer. I had other bids from the big companies and nobody got even remotely close to the price Energy Catchers quoted me.

The whole business of getting our windows was daunting, however, Energy Catchers made it a smooth /less painless process. I was impressed with the sales person (Travis) who took the time to meet with us and explain the process as well as the product. The scheduler (Vivian) was excellent in keeping me updated letting me know the windows had been ordered, the arrival of the windows, and the install schedule. The install went quickly and the crew did a good job keeping us informed and cleaning up during/after the project. We had a couple of questions afterwards and Joe swung by to remedy and answer the questions.

All in all, a positive experience.

Very pleased with Energy Catchers! Jay was very responsive and professional and the windows are beautiful. We chose Energy Catchers over Pella initially due to the lower cost, but the quality and look of Energy Catchers windows are on par with large name brand windows. Installers were courteous and neat. This is our second project and we highly recommend Energy Catchers. Travis did a great job walking us through the estimate and installation process and got us a great price. The office called the next day to schedule a factory measure. Joe was very professional, he reviewed our project, measured all our windows and let us know what to expect. The office called the following day to let us know the windows were in production and called again to schedule the installation. Chris and his crew did an amazing job installing and capping all 18 windows! Alex visited during the installation and answered all our questions and cleaned all the windows, wow! These windows are great, we can finally enjoy our sunroom.....we used to call it a sauna! This company is great and the staff is professional, thanks Energy Catchers!

We had replaced our dining room windows (3 french door type windows with transoms along the top). The new windows are energy efficient plate glass windows and we are amazed at how it cuts down on the heat from the summer sun. They are beautiful, bring in more light to our dining room and is a nice upgrade for our 24 year old house. The installer was very meticulous and put in more work to make sure everything was perfect with the trim and calking. They worked with us on the price and were very customer oriented. I would highly recommend them.

Kevin installed two windows for us. He did a great job. He drove two hours from Raleigh, worked for two hours and cleaned the site very well.

My wife and I wondered if we could afford new windows. We were tired of our high energy bills in our so called “ Energy Efficient “ home. We looked to our neighbors who had replaced their windows and were referred to Energy Catchers because they were thrilled with their purchase. We called and scheduled an appointment for an in home estimate. Travis Trent came and educated us about the vast array of windows and their differing quality. There was no high pressure sales. After Trent left, he gave us some time to think about it. My wife and I knew we wanted the windows. We can see the quality in Energy Cathers products and felt comfortable with the fact that they stand behind their products with a lifetime/transferable warranty. We made the purchase and scheduled the install. The windows were measured twice before they were made. Installation day came and the crew was top notch. They cleaned as they installed and were meticulous with ensuring all the windows were sealed. Staff members for Energy Catchers came by frequently and even replaced a couple of screens that had imperfections. No questions asked. After the installment was completed Energy Catchers followed up to ensure we were happy and had no concerns. Overall it was an experience that I would do over again without hesitation. Top Notch!

Buyer beware of their shady sales practices. We decided not to go with this company, so I can't speak to their quality. However, when getting a quote for replacement windows, our salesperson employed not one, but two shady, deceptive sales tactics. First, they offer an "Energy Star Program" where they require you agree to put up yard signs, act as reference and provide testimonials/positive reviews on social sites (Google, Yelp, Home Advisor, etc.) in exchange for a "steep discount". When the initial quote was given (which was 50-60% higher than the other 4 quotes we received), our salesperson made a call to the sales manager to see if we "qualified" for it, meaning there wasn't another home nearby that was getting this 'spectacular' offer. We were told we did "qualify" and the price dropped by $2,400. So basically he tried to convince us that we'll get a big discount by having us do significant marketing for the company. The catch is, even with the discount, it was still 20-25% higher than the other quotes. I (and so should you) now question the online reviews for this company since it offers discounts in exchange for positive reviews.

After we balked at this, he then said the company was about to place a very large commercial order and if we acted then and there, he would put our windows on that same order so that we'd qualify for a volume discount. At that point, I think he realized we were not taking the bait, finished writing up the quote and left. Having been in sales, I could not believe how shady this company's sales practices are. Before getting quotes from this company, do your homework on what deceptive sales tactics some companies do to get the deal closed.

UPDATE:
In response to the owner’s (Justin) reply to my review, I’d like to set the record straight.

1) I do not work for nor am I related to anyone who is a competitor. I am simply a homeowner who is trying to get replacement windows.

2) I have nothing to be ashamed of by posting my review. I am calling attention to these tactics so that others can be aware and make an informed decision. Reviews like mine don’t "ruin the entire legitimacy of online reputations”. Again, I can’t speak to the quality of their work. It may be great, but offering a discount in exchange for positive reviews ruins the legitimacy.

Considering my wife and I are about to spend thousands of dollars, I have done extensive research to educate myself on the types of windows, the specs, ratings, installation methods, and the sales process. As part of my research, I found a lot of information on manipulative sales tactics that some companies use to sell windows. I urge you to do a search (e.g. replacement windows sales tricks) and spend 20 minutes reading up on it and you’ll see where I am coming from.

3) The quote from Energy Catchers was the 5th we received. None of the other 4 companies employed the same or even similar sales tactics, such as volume-based or incentivized “discounting for reviews" methods.

4) I spoke to the salesperson before the appointment and said that we already went through 2 lengthy (1.5-2 hour) sales presentations and did not want to go through another one. He agreed that he would spend about 30 minutes on an overview of the company, measure our windows, demo his window and provide a quote. He even mentioned it again after arriving for the appointment. When everything was said and done, he finally gave us the quote 1 hour, 20 minutes into the appointment. Agreed upon time: ~ 30 minutes.

5) I find the claim that I showed "hostile behavior” laughable. Was I annoyed that the salesperson completely disregarded our agreement for the appointment length and then tried to have us believe that the we were getting a good deal with the shady “discounting” tactics? Absolutely. It was a waste of our time and an insult to our intelligence. However, at no point was I hostile. In fact, I was more than polite given that the salesperson showed little respect for my and my wife's time.

I have had my windows installed five years ago and the savings on my heating and a.c has dropped more what I had expected. They are Great windows and add more comfort and value to my home. And they are easy to maintain. Their crew was great and had no issues with date and time of installation.

Started working with them 5 months ago and there's a pleasure to work with the company if its customers needs as first priority.

I called to get a quote for Windows, the salesman spent a lot of time trying to figure out our budget and what quotes we got from other companies. He was never straight forward with pricing. We had the feel the price would vary based on our income which is very odd. At the end, he said he’d email me price quotes for three different options, he emailed me questions which I responded to and now it’s been three weeks and I’ve never received a quote or follow up. Any other company I’ve dealt with has gotten me quotes the same day because there is a set price for their product, they don’t adjust it based on how much they think they can make from you.

Horrible, never talked to salesman again after ordering windows They showed up to do install, one supervisor, he walked around in yard and smoked cigs all day, had 18 month old in his truck, his wife was supposed to be cleaning behind the installers but she had to keep tending to the baby, left a lot of trash over 60 cigarette butts in yard, empty caullk everywhere, 4 hours late both days, never returned to finish, will not answer their phone can see daylight around windows.

My sales rep was Chris, totally awesome guy. He checked in with me from start to finish to make sure everything was flowing well and I was getting what I needed. He is a real relationship builder kind of guy. The installation was done over an afternoon. The installers did a great job and cleaned up so well I couldn't tell they were there. Then Joe came by after all the work had been completed to insure I was pleased with the service and product. This has been a great experience! I will use Energy Catchers again! Energy Cathers recently replaced all of the windows in my house. I found their information through the ValPak flyer and checked out their website. I set up an appointment for a salesman to come to my house, which happened within a week of my contacting them. After seeing the different products and making our decision, we were able to do a bit of haggling to get down to our price limit. The windows arrived within the minimum amount of time they told us and we had them installed within a week of their arrival. The installers were quick and efficient. My only complaint is that they left the windows smudged. I called the company and someone came out within a few days to clean all of our windows. Overall I am very happy with every level of their company and would highly recommend them. The windows are performing excellently as well.

Very good customer service, good attention to details and great communication. We had all windows replaced within 6h and barely heard any loud noise. Now we get to enjoy peace and quiet of our home thanks to very reasonably priced windows by Energy Catchers! Waiting to custom work to be done on our patio sliding doors next!
UPDATE:
As good as the regular window installation was, as bad the custom patio door installation is now. Everything opposite: from customer service (rescheduled start date 4 times, cancelled numerous times, no shows, not responsive office assistance), to actual work (crew showing up to work at 2pm for 2h worth of work, rescheduled work days, inspection days, sloppy work). The patio door installation was scheduled to take 2-3days worth of work. Yes, we had to add 2days of work (and horrendous $$$$ bill for fixing rotten floor joists), but we are currently 3months in !!!! and we are not finished. The worst experience we have ever had. Feels like we were put on a “black list” and this project is to never be completed / or showcased how not to provide a good customer service. Nightmare. We were hoping to have a good relationship with these guys for future projects, but we won’t be using Energy Catchers ever again.

I have, nor will I ever use your services. I have received 2 unsolicited robo spam calls pitching your company and my number is on the nationwide do not call list. After a major hail storm which upset many of homes in this area, I found it in bad taste to do this and a terrible way to waste your marketing budget. This is right up there with ambulance chasing.

I've just had my siding and windows replaced with Energy Catchers. I am well pleased with the experience. Paul was very professional and gave me a competitive price. Doug was the project Manager and coordinated the different moving parts on-time and completed with quality. Chris and Wayne did a fantastic job installing my Hardie siding and moisture barrier; they were very thoughtful in keeping my yard/garage clean despite of the big job. Francisco knocked the ball out of the park with his paint job and thoroughness. Joe managed and Murik installed/wrapped my windows with perfection. I am impressed with everyone's attention to detail and love of their work; it really shows from the work and in talking with these gentlemen. Justin the owner called several times to check on things to make sure I am satisfied. I have my next project in mind. Paul I will be calling you soon.

Excellent customer service! I have used them numerous times. Replaced all our windows in 2013, roof in 14 and just had them remove all my Masonite siding and replace with HardiPlank cement siding. Had a couple minor issues once with the roof an with Windows. As soon I contacted them they handled it. I would recommend

I was very pleased with the entire experience with Energy Catchers as they replaced all the windows in our home. The initial interview took over an hour and all of my questions were addressed. The price was reasonable and I feel like the product is AWESOME. There is already a huge difference from a sound (much quieter), and temperature (AC is running less often) standpoint. I am very pleased.
