After deciding to use them for our whole home window/door replacement, they remained professional, punctual, & communicative throughout the whole process. Graeme & David were always very responsive to all of our questions. The quality of the project was top notch. Work was clean & neat. I would definitely use them again for any future project. Highly recommend! Of course they also warranty their work & even came back out to address a door hardware issue about a month after project completion. Had all the original windows in our mid-century home replaced by Empire. Getting the old ones out was a chore as was hoisting the large, enormously heavy casements. Install team did it expertly, were on time, super friendly, and professional. Nothing rushed, all about doing it right. The finishing on the trim, both exterior and interior looks great. Highlty recommend.

Empire removed our old vinyl glass windows and panels in our large sunroom and replaced with wood studs, wood, vinyl siding and indoor insulation, drywall/plaster & of course new high-quality windows & doors. What a big difference in being energy efficient and much quieter. They are very professional in every way. They listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly what we wanted and needed. Graeme stayed in contact with us from the beginning all the way until everything was finished. All his guys were also very professional and polite, plus they are skilled at what they do. We were in the process of selling our home and a tree fell on it damaging the roof and siding. I contacted several companies but ultimately went with Empire Siding Windows and Roofing. Graeme and his crew were professional and understanding with what we had went through. He was very helpful through the whole process from helping with the insurance company to when they completed the job and drove away. We ended up replacing the whole roof and siding all the way around. New gutters and trim work also done. They completed the work within a week and the house sold in one day as a result of the amazing job that was done.

I used Graeme for 18 replacement windows. First problem was when I ordered the windows I wanted the black framed windows but they were pricey. He suggested ordering white and he would wrap them and they would look the same. They did not. The window itself would still be white so I stayed with all white windows. I was in the middle of a remodel so when I asked about the caulking and cleaning he said (by email) I needed to wait until everything was finished, when my work was completed, I reached back out and he told me it had been 6 months and he didn’t feel like he had to come back and do anything, I paid someone else to caulk all the windows. Finally after contacting him again due to a window that wouldn’t go up and stay up he sent someone that bent the window back in place. He tried to blame someone else on damaging the window. That was not true. He said due to sone plaster on the windows, he refused to clean them. I went to every window and cleaned the plaster off. Only 2 windows had some plaster,. The others was just water splatter. I wiped over them all but he still would not clean them. I would not recommend him at all.

Great service! When I requested a quote on the website I received a call back almost immediately. When the owner came to give the estimate he was very knowledgeable and understood exactly what I wanted. When they came to install my doors they arrived at the exact time stated. Both men were very polite, quick, and efficient. Very happy with the end result and the price.

I had 23 windows replaced and I am very happy with the work that was done. Graeme and his crew are personable and professional. Very easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. After the install I now notice other windows as I am driving around town. I am confident in saying my new windows look better. They just pop more and have a nice clean look. Empire replaced my Dad's roof as they also do roofing now as well! Fantastic job! Fast response and on time work. They also replaced the vinyl siding that was damaged by hail and did EXCELLENT work on repairing a leaking window that caused structural damage. All the damaged framing was replaced and the cause of the leaking was determined and properly repaired. Graeme is a great guy to work with!

We had Empire replace our front door, sidelites, and shutters. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They were incredibly responsive and professional during the entire process. Helped me make an informed decision on which products would work best and fit my budget. They showed up on time, did exactly what they promised, and cleaned up as they went including sweeping my foyer and pitch multiple times so not to track in debris. The front of our house looks amazing!! I highly recommend this company and will be using them for future projects.

We had our windows replaced in November. Graeme provided helpful information regarding the product and options at a fair price. Work was done as promised with my only complaint being the installers left some several metal pieces on the ground which could cut someone's feet or a pet's paws. I would recommend giving Empire a call for quality, affordable replacement windows.

Highly recommend! They replaced all of our not so easy windows in less than three days. I'm talking 18 encasement windows, some of which are three stories high, with a good bit of rotting around them. Graeme and his team are awesome! Great communication (I was able to get a response via phone or email within 24 hours) and high quality work. Can't praise them enough.

Graeme and his company excelled at every aspect of my window replacement project. My project was a bit complicated and we made some cost saving changes as we developed the contract. I found Graeme to be exceptionally knowledgeable, prompt with quotes and amazingly patient during this process. His crew was equally professional, prompt, neat and did a beautiful job replacing 12 windows in a day and a half. The price was competitive - I could have paid less with a company I had used before, but I felt much more comfortable with Graeme and his team at Empire and couldn’t be more pleased with the result.

We had one issue with a window lock not quite catching (there was a weird expansion in the frame due to a sudden heat wave), they came right back out to adjust and make sure we wouldn't have another problem. From the moment he respectfully entered our home to describe our Bay Window options, Graeme was the picture of professionalism. We had originally planned to do our entire home with new windows, but decided to do the bay first, with the windows at the end of the summer. I have a home that is "unique". Having been built onto over the years it was composed of a few different materials - stucco, T1-11 siding and rock. I purchased the home nearly three years ago so the T1-11 was in need of re-staining. That wasn't really a project that I wanted to attempt myself, nor continue to do every few years, so I gave Graeme Anderson a call to discuss vinyl. I also needed two replacement windows and was thinking of replacing doors. I'd heard Empire Siding & Windows recommendations on the radio and I must say that they lived up to the hype and far exceeded my expectations! Graeme came out to my home and took the time to discuss all of my options and look through books and samples with me. He is super nice and knowledgeable and was in contact with me often throughout the project. I settled on the two new windows (the rest of my house already had the replacement windows), a green vinyl to cover the T1-11, paint for the stucco (color matched to my vinyl), and all new soffit, trim and guttering in white. The crew (David and Alan) were friendly, arrived on time each day, worked hard, took the time to answer a couple of questions I had, cleaned up after themselves and just overall did an amazing job. The difference is remarkable! It really brightened things up and took years off of my home. If you're considering having any work done, give Graeme a call, you won't regret it! I will be using Empire Siding & Windows again in the future, when I finally do my doors, and recommending them to all of my friends and family. Also, ask about their financing options!

Graeme Anderson is a top-notch salesman and contractor. He came highly regarded on the radio and lived up to all the hype and so much more! He answers any question straight-up, doesn't have anything to hide, and he doesn't cut any corners. We had Empire put all new siding, soffit, trim metal, gutter, 5 replacement windows, and a sliding glass door on our house last fall, and everything looks great!! The work was performed in a very timely manner and with excellent workmanship.

I am a contractor and purchased a property that needed new gutters, siding and windows. I had heard good things about Empire siding and windows so thought i would give them a go as i have not had a lot of luck with other local company's. They turned up on time, got stuck right in and did a great job. when they left they didn't leave a spot of trash anywhere to be seen. That alone is rare with contractors these days. I will def be using them in the future.

My company purchased an old commercial property off of Plantation Ave. in Roanoke. One of the first things we did in the renovation process was to replace the windows and wrap the exposed wood. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined the huge difference this would make! The property now looks beautiful and has tremendous curb appeal. Graeme selected the color contrasts for me because I was scared to make the decision myself. He choose the perfect color combinations! I am thrilled with the work his team did for me.
