Emerald Contracting

I love finding companies that care about people and are dedicated to doing a good job at a decent price. I just discovered another one to add to my list. Emerald Contracting NW is a company I would recommend to my friends and family without hesitation. I had three estimates on our roofing job. Emerald was by far the most thorough in their inspection and most attractive in their pricing. The finished job was excellent and Erik was personable and friendly to the end!

We are VERY happy with this company’s work! We had a leak, they came out quickly, repaired the leak right away, then came back to clean the roof and install vents, which had needed to be done for years.Their prices were very fair, they were extremely professional and personable with wonderful customer service!

I would definitely recommend this company and will certainly use them again if we ever have the need.

They arrived on-site and on-time. Very experienced roofing experience. I got a report that thoroughly outlined the weak points on my roof and a methodology on improving it. I would reach out to them again for future projects.

I called about 5 different companies to get some quotes to clean my cedar shake roof. One instantly told me i needed a new roof, the others were ok, but were going to pressure wash, which I had heard you don't want to do. Josh came out and immediately said the roof was fine, they would do a gentle blow on the roof and maybe next year replace some shakes and clean it so the new shakes would match the existing ones. The work was done when they said, the price was very reasonable and I will be calling them next year. These are my roof guys from now on, trustworthy, reasonable rates and great at communicating and keeping you updated.

Excellent roof installation, only took 3 days - and time of noise overhead matters! - $10k estimate for one-story home was accurate. Pros are: roof looks excellent, reasonable price. Cons: Supervisor showed up a week after the job, 45 min late, to show roof photos and collect payment, but ended up emailing us photos and a way to pay (his payment machine was broken) so not sure why appointment was needed in the first place. Waste of time.
Emails since (over several months) have requested a review time and time again, so here it is.
Also, a worker's ladder was left behind. Strained my neck trying to move it. Took weeks to heal. Requested pick-up twice via email before putting it on the curb for free. Would I hire them again? Yes, based on price and speed. But maybe they're TOO busy for their own good, to meet customers on time and pick up left-behind tools. Also, after the job was done, nails on the ground all around our house, not great since we have cats and little ones running around outside. Cliche hispanic workers, for which I have no reason to believe they're being paid fair or unfair wages. Slightly disappointed that my roof's price may have come at an ethical price. Who knows for sure?

I have a mainly flat roof that I wanted updated, I had four estimates and Emerald had the best quote. They did an excellent job and completed the whole job in 2 days. The team were hard working and very courteous. Clean up was very good. Eric the owner followed up to check on everything. Would very much recommend.

Great work, fantastic customer service. I needed them to re-roof a home in order to close on a house sale. They really came through for me and my clients. Most roofers, like many other super busy construction professionals, simply can't come out timely as they're so busy, but they were able to accommodate us. Plus, I really appreciated their prompt communication via phone, text, and email. Thank you! Well done!

We hosted a client appreciation event at the races this year and it was great! The food and service was excellent and all the guests enjoyed the races. Most of our guests were Auburn natives that hadn't been to the track before, everyone had fun!

I contacted Erik while getting quotes when a tree fell on our house during January 2019's storm. He was aware that insurance monies are often short to cover everything especially because we had several affected areas; the roof and window being most important. He did a great job. Wished he did more than roofs

Josh was honest and personable. I would trust them to do any work for me, and these days, that's saying something. Not only that but chances are they will save you money compared to other roofing contractors. Honest good pricing and they know what they're doing.

This was probably one of the greatest experiences I've had working with a Contractor! To start the salesman Josh was outstanding didn't sell me anything I didn't need, upfront, honest and to the point. The workmanship was Fantastic and very efficient! And I will recommend Emerald Contracting NW to everyone I know and come in contact with. Thanks again guys

Erik and Josh are awesome to work, very personal. You are making a huge investment for your home. It was less stress, having their team to do the work. They are extremely neat, very knowledgeable. I am a perfectionist, I have high standards on attention to detail. It has been 4 months since I went from cedar shake to composition. I have found 2 staples in my yard, no nails.... Wow.
If you want people who love what they do, passionate and really know how to to hit the customer service out of the park.

Erik, came out to do a roof repair and explained EVERYTHING that he saw and how he planned to repair it. They were professional and completed in a timely manner. We did have to call him back out but he was responsive and had the repair done quickly. They discovered that they needed to go higher on the original patch job to fix a valley on our roof. But once again professional and explained everything they did. I plan on using Erik and his team to replace the roof in a few years
