I've been a contractor for 40 years i know roofing but i'm partially crippled now the customer service was horrible the job was horrible that cost me a divorce i wouldn't recommend them to anyone it took him two years but they finally come back and made it right after all the sheetrock in my laundry room was damaged with a bucket to catch the rain should have just did it my damn self

Did a fantastic job repairing a badly done roofing job by another vendor. Did everything on time and in budget. My saviors

I was misquoted by 15%. I told the guy who came out that if he could do the roof for $9,000 I would do it. We agreed. Next I find out I would have to come up with $1,500 out of pocket instead of the $1,000 we had spoken of. They came out on a Saturday and the work was good and done fairly fast. Then I find out that they had to replace 10 sheets of plywood, okay I can understand that. Then although my roof was quoted and inspected apparently the guy missed that there were 2 sets of shingles on the house... that oversight on Elete's part raised my bill more $560 or so more! Anyways when it's all said and done my $9,000 roof with the original $1,000 down cost me $7,500 financed and $2360 on my credit card! Also, when reading the financing paperwork it said the roof cost was $8,500 total! I'd venture to say that nobody at Elite Roofing has ever been on a fixed-income! Not overly sympathetic about it either. Summary, the work was good but dissect the paperwork! If I had known the cost upfront I would not have done it. Of course that's just my opinion.

Elite Roofing of Georgia Customer Service Policy: Delay, Defer, Deny - My Better Business Bureau Rating “D” although they actually earned an “F!”

Be very careful when contracting with Elite Roofing of Georgia. The primary company emphasis in on getting you an estimate and securing your business. The “post sale / customer service” is very poor. When negotiating the price for your new or replacement roof, be sure to request to discount on the price of $200 - $500! Because you’ll need it when something / anything goes wrong. I most certainly wish I did on my roof and gutter guard system.

The most recent truly disappointing experience was when calling the office to have two issues addressed with the gutter guard system; one section had blown off, and another was leaking creating a water line (eventually creating mold) on the front of my brick home. I called the office on December 2nd, and the call immediately went to voice mail (the first bad indication); I did leave a message but after almost 3 full weeks, no one had called back. Their voice mail recording states: If you are calling during regular business hours, sorry we are on another line helping customers, if you are calling after hours, we will call you back on the next business day. I called again on December 22nd and left a second message which also immediately went to voicemail, and I received a return call several hours later. The young lady who returned the call was Lizette Prater, I explained the two issues and she said she’d call me back. On December 22nd, Lizette also asked for photographs of the two issues; on the same day I immediately took the pictures, circled and pointed red arrows to the problem areas, scanned and e-mailed the documentation. Later on the same day, Lizette confirmed receipt of the e-mail and photographs, plus indicated she’d “be in touch as soon as possible.” During the conversation she stated she would send the information and details to the Operations Staff / Manager for review and would have them call me back; regretfully that call never occurred. After 3 1/2 weeks had passed without a return call, on January 18th, I called back a third time and also followed up on the e-mail dated December 22nd. Lizette responded to my e-mail by calling me back, she now stated that to have someone come out to look at the two issues, there will be a service charge of $139. In turn on January 18th, Lizette claimed she didn’t have record of my roofing and gutter installation (another excuse). I scanned and e-mailed copies of the original contract agreement and brochures for the services provided. After providing the contract documentation, there was no response. The effort to try to get a resolution took 8 1/2 weeks, resulting in excuses, delayed returning my calls, and hesitation to address the leaking roof problem. The true reality of the calibre of Elite Roofing of Georgia, has been demonstrated by their lack of quality staff, workmanship, and product integrity. When I initially contacted Elite Roofing of Georgia, inquiring about a new roof the staff responded right away, offering to come out and prepare a free estimate for a roof and leaf control gutter system. But the post-sale support was the complete opposite; they had excuses, delayed returning my calls, and hesitated to address the leaking roof and gutter problem, ultimately doing nothing.

The first indication of poor customer service was when there was a leak on the roof, which occurred within the first year. Initially I called the representative whom I signed the contract. He didn’t respond to my first call and voice mail message; when I called again and finally reached him, he referred me to the main number in the office. When I called the office, they directed me to call my sales representative, the absolute run-around!

We have tried contacting the office several times. My husband calling at least 5 and a complete disregard to an email. We moved into our home in 2020, where the previous owners had skylights replaced by Elite. We have strips of material falling out of the sides of both sylights and a trail of water stains that are slowly growing with the rainy season. Despite having the receipt and warranty on the work, there has been no effort to schedule a repair and we have been ignored. Seemingly they are waiting out the warranty period. We have been nice and civil, didn't demand anything when the pandemic resurged, all to no avail.
We have been left with the stress of what is happening under our roof because the tech refused to acknowledge his work.

Process was somewhat cumbersome as this was my first time having to replace a roof. They did a great job and knocked it out in one day. However, when I had an inspection when I was getting ready to sell the home, I was made aware of some nails coming up from some shingles. I reached out to the business via text, as we had communicated this way before, and never received a response. Post-completion support could be better, but overall they did well.

Worked us in rather quickly and fixed the issue we had on our roof and glad to use a local business.

Chris was punctual and very professional at our initial meeting. Received estimates from two other companies. Decided to go with Elite Roofing. Glad I did. Chris followed up on every detail, even had an employee return to correct a small flashing detail that previous roof did incorrectly. New roof looks GREAT. I was referred to this company after recently purchasing a house, and following up on a previous estimate. Matt was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable with the hoops of dealing with an HOA & insurance claim. Lizette, at the office, very pleasant and professional, issued multiple options for payment once the job was completed. Once my contract was in place, my scheduled installation came faster than I was expecting, which was accommodating to my situation.
I had a 5 man crew and these gentlemen were on time, efficient and did an amazing job. I was pleased to see that they worked quickly and safely used rigging harnesses. I have never seen this type of operation before and was fascinated. It was truly and sight and a messy job. Tarps were laid out to capture most of the debris as it came down and clean up was a continuous process. At the completion, residual asphalt was blown away and any lingering nails picked up via magnet. The main roof was completed but a second order had to be made for a small attachment. The did the prep work for the install and came back 3 days later to finish. I love the my new roof, and should I need to use their services again I will not hesitate.

Chris Stegall and his team did an excellent job replacing our old roof. He was transparent, professional, responded to questions promptly, and communicated at every turn. We received 3 estimates from companies in the area which all had A ratings with the BBB, but Elite Roofing stood above the rest. Their price was on par with the others, but also being Master Elite certified tipped the scale for us We are happy we chose Elite Roofing.

Matt Swinford of Elite Roofing was very knowledgeable of roof inspection and roof installation. The inspection was well documented with facts and pictures, along with exact measurements to let you know if you needed a roof replacement or not so that the report sent to the insurance company was well prepared and honest. The adjusters for the insurance company was a no show several times and wasn't punctual when they did show up but Matt was polite, fair, consistent, patience and professionally firm in what was needed to get the job done and I appreciate that. I learned a lot from this roofing process. And whenever I had a question or didn't understand something, I was given an answer that was truthful.

I was given many selections/colors to pick from for my roof replacement and it was installed beginning early morning and completed early evening and I am very proud of my new roof. It looks good ☺️.

I also want to say that the customer service was nice and professional and if you leave a voicemail, they gave you a return call back. I appreciate the service that I received from Elite Roofing Company and I recommend them highly.

Matt was great! He came out gave me a quote to replace my roof, answered all of my questions - the team arrived on time, they were very professional and cleaned up before they left - roof looks amazing! I'm also going to use them to replace my gutters.

Communication could have been better on scheduling the install, was hard to get a call back for a week or so. Otherwise they were able to complete a small custom width standing seam roof at the best price from 3 quotes. The work looks good and no issues since. Overall happy with the job done and would use again.

I had a new roof and gutters with leaf guards put on. The roof was done in one day. They even painted the breather vents black and now my roof looks beautiful. They did a great job and I'm very pleased with the work they did.
