Excellent service! Inspecting our dryer vent, they determined that it was not done to code, and then EES Services came up with a creative solution to re-route the dryer vent so that the machine can operate safely. Highly recommend their service --- they were licensed, insured, and I felt very confident in their competence and ability during the entire process (from the original safety inspection to the final installation). Pricing was fair, and communication easy. I will use EES in the future.

I had EES to my house twice this fall. I intended to have him clean my dryer vent and my gutters. First he looked at the dryer vent. He thoroughly documented all the problems with my existing vent and cleaned it as best as he could (it had come apart in the basement ceiling and there was lint everywhere). He spent all our whole appointment time making sure I had all the photos and cleaning all the lint that he could reach and patching it up until I could replace the vent. I had him come back later for the gutters. I have a very tall townhouse and he does not upcharge for needing a larger ladder. Other gutter cleaning services won't clean houses with gutter guards, so I asked if he could clean and then remove the guards. The gutter guards that I have predate my ownership of the house and they were stuffed with leaves when I first had them cleaned. It has been a couple of years since I had them cleaned, but he insisted that I should keep my guards since he showed me pictures of each segment of gutter showing that they were completely clean. He also insisted on charging me only a much lower inspection fee and not the cleaning fee.

I will not hesitate to rehire EES the next time I need my dryer vent cleaned or my gutters checked.

Other things to note: He shows up on time, he is a nice guy, and he cleans up after himself and won't leave a mess in your house.

I requested dryer vent service on the company's web site on a Friday afternoon, and the owner, Jose, very quickly responded with some options at the end of the following week. When I inquired about the possibility of a cancellation opening up an earlier appointment, he got back to immediately with an offer to come out first thing Monday morning. Jose arrived right on time and neatly, efficiently and thoroughly cleaned out the vent. When he was done, he showed me a video he had taken by snaking a camera through the entire length of the vent. Jose has modern equipment, is technically savvy and runs a highly customer friendly business. Very impressed and will use again for sure!

We recently had a visit with Jose with EES Services for a dryer vent cleaning, and I couldn't be more impressed. From start to finish, his service was exceptional!

Jose was incredibly responsive and even arrived a few minutes early, which was a pleasant surprise. He took the time to thoroughly explain the process and provided detailed pictures of the vent before and after the cleaning. We have a narrow washing closet and a vent on the roof, and Jose was able to check each piece to ensure it was working properly.

Jose was so very helpful and professional - I wanted to be sure vent blockages were’t causing issues with my (actually just defective and broken) dryer, and he was able to fit me in very quickly. Our condo is on the 2nd and 3rd floors; Jose had to use a tall ladder for access but still made quick work of the job. He pulled out any excess lint and also identified some issues with our vent and gave me a quote to fix it. Sometimes these crazy bendy urban dryer vents can be damaged while cleaning but Jose was a pro and was very careful. Overall, I was really impressed and would absolutely use his company again!

I am really glad we found Jose, who is very knowledgeable about air duct cleaning as well as fixes, which is hard to find. We had an issue with loose vent pipes and reached out to Jose, who quickly came to our rescue and fixed the pipe. We proceeded to schedule an air duct cleaning service with him, which he has done a wonderful job too. I wanted to know why my gutters kept getting clogged even though I was hiring someone to clean the gutters every year. When ESS Services came out, I discussed my concern with Jose and he took extra time to investigate. He said the previous service didn't completely clear out each gutter. He stayed longer and fully cleaned each gutter using a hose and a long cleaning pole. ESS will be cleaning my gutters from now on!

José was recommended on a neighborhood listserv for dryer vent cleaning and I am so glad that we found him. He was incredibly professional, friendly, clear and communicative on every level. We had originally hired Cropp Metcalf to do this job last year but the techs they sent were inexperienced and we ended up with more birds nesting in our vent this spring. José knew just how to handle this issue and unlike the techs from the bigger company, he was familiar with navigating the narrow spaces between our city townhouses to reach the dryer vent.
