Allan with Edwards roofing did a great job on the repairs of my house. They replaced the roof, installed new gutters and replace 22 windows. Outstanding quality work!

When I bought my house in 2020, the sellers had Edwards Roofing replace the roof. Because the sellers main concern was to make the sale and get out, mistakes were made on some of the decisions concerning how the job was done. I was able to get in touch with Allen Yates, and he sent someone out to fix the errors, not once, not twice, but three times to get it right. Of course, this process took a little time and patience to get completed, but Edwards Roofing will honor the job and do you right as a customer if you stick with them and be reasonable. These guys are working their tails off to make sure the job gets done right without cutting any corners, but even when mistakes are made, they take pride in their work and honor their word, and that was what really made the difference for me. I wanted to post our high recommendation for this company as we have had a long and good relationship for lots of different work!

We have used Allan Yates’ company Edwards Home Improvements for numerous projects over the past 20 years, going back all the way to 2001 when we first called them to replace a flat commercial building roof where we had been ripped off by a previous roofing contractor. In total since then, Edwards has installed nine (9) new roofs for us so far, including at least 3 flat roofs with TPO membrane installation and 5 roofs on houses, including our own home. We have always been able to count on Allan and his team to come out to find and fix leaks on older roofs, and for installing new roofs when needed, in a timely manner. On several occasions, the timing of when the work needed to be done was very sensitive for either insurance purposes or because of the tenant business needs, and Allan and his company were willing to work within the needed timeframe as weather permitted and it was much appreciated.

This year, we had wind and hail damage at three properties from the same storm, so the work that Edwards has been doing for us most recently, besides the new roofs, included siding, soffits, gutter and downspout replacement, a set of projects they are in the midst of finishing up for us. We have been very pleased with the work that has been done and appreciate the diligence of the crew. Again, Allan and the team were very filling to work within the timeframes needed.

We have several projects that we are planning to do on our home soon, including painting, some siding replacement, and roofing, and a possible room addition, and are in the midst of getting quotes from Edwards on these projects as well since we have always felt that their work has been of high quality and at a reasonable price.

We have enjoyed working with Allan and Edwards Home Improvements over the years and really appreciate having a go-to contractor we know that we can count on!

Took time off of work to be home for the first appointment only to have them cancel on me last minute on the day of. On the second attempted appointment, the installer ignored my calls and didn’t bother to let me know he wasn’t coming. Also no one ever answers there main line.

I hired Allen and his team to complete an office in my barn and a bathroom in my shop. I ended up firing him and his team after 5 days of work. What was supposed to take 3-4 weeks took 5 days. Plugs were up side down, wires were switched the window I paid over $1000 for was torn up and had scratches all over it and was not installed properly. The ceiling was crooked, where they put up the metal ceiling they would miss a stud and take the screw out and leave a whole in the ceiling.

After firing them I had an CERTIFIED electrician come out and take a look at the work. Allen's team install 12 lights.... all of which had no box around the wires all the live 120 volt wires were exposed against the insulation.... My electrician said I was lucky that my whole barn didn't catch fire just by turning the lights on. Why didn't they have a certified electrician doing these things???

Overall, I did end up getting back about $1000 of my $5000 I put down but went way over my budget because I had to fix all of the mess ups that theses guys did. It was going to cost so much money to fix all the things wrong with it that I have had to keep a lot of the messed up parts in the office and I will just have to slowly fix things down the road. Allen did offer to fix everything for free but at that point I didn't trust them to put a screw in my wall.

I am VERY disappointment and honestly should have gotten all my money back. Upon letting them go, I asked for Allen to come see in person how bad things were... He refused and just sent me a check for $1093.64. I am a business owner and this is not how good business and good quality of work is done.

Allan Yates is a man of his word and the utmost integrity. Not only does he know the roofing business inside and out, his crew led by Eduardo did an exceptional job replacing my failed flat roof with a properly installed TPO membrane. If you need a roof installed competently at a competitive price, look no further than Allan’s company.

Last year, Allan Yates helped me with replacing the front part of my roof, since the previous company did shoddy work. I was so impressed when I came home to a new roof, and there was no evidence they had been there because everything was spotless! Yesterday, I casually mentioned I had a new leak on the back part of the roof (not the part he replaced), and he had a Crew out at 7am, and already fixed this morning! I am so impressed, and I highly recommend them for your home improvement needs!

Mr. Yates is very professional and easy to work with. He does what he says he’s going to do. He went above and beyond in replacing my roof. It looks great and he cleaned the gutters, picked up all materials and left my yard spotless. He was very fair in pricing and bought and installed exactly what I asked for. Would recommend him highly.
