I have now used Ed's for both home and our commercial building, he has done a great job on both.

Ed was a true professional and provided great service for us when our HVAC system went down. He made time to diagnose the issue despite the odd hours and even though the part took a few weeks to arrive, he communicated clearly what the status was. As soon as the part arrived, he squeezed us into his busy schedule to install it ASAP.

Ed has helped us twice now, once to inspect our system and the other to service and do some repairs. Both times he showed up on time and was a wealth of knowledge. Really appreciate his honest attitude and good work. Thanks Ed!

i had Eds come out to my house to check out why my hvac wasnt blowing hot or cold air since i called another company and they said they had to order parts before they could do anything. well after waiting 3 weeks with too many calls to that other company i got ahold of Eds. he was out the next day ( this Morning ) and got me up and running after finding problems with a couple wires. i own my own business to which i have service techs as well and i really appreciate honest service techs not wanting to go after the big kill just to make money. Would recommend, 10/10. We’ve had Ed’s service our system twice now. The first our ac died in the middle of a heat wave. The second one our heat stopped working after coming home from vacation and he spent weekends and after hours getting our system right. He’s always been kind and felt worried for us when our systems didn’t work in the heat and cold.

Ed is a guy who knows what he’s talking about and really takes the time to tell you what’s wrong. He came out once before to help out and did an awesome job then too. I’ve got an old heater from 1977 original to the house and within 20 minutes of both visits he figured the problem and fixed it. He’s got a packed schedule for a reason and he’s military friendly. I can’t say enough about this guy and the help he’s given me and my family!

I would rate him zero if I could….because that is what I got….zero service. I called and spoke with Ed on 9/19/24 about coming to take a look at my furnace. He said he would call back to schedule. No return call. So 9/23/24 I called again, only able to leave a voicemail. Still no return call. My dad had recommend him and said he would give Ed a call to see if he could get a hold of him. My dad speaks with Ed who says he will call us. My dad even provided him my contact information, just in case he had misplaced it. Yet again, no return call. He was out at my dad’s house on 10/8/24 and again Ed says he will give us a call to schedule. Well it’s nearly Friday and I’m done. It’s so frustrating to want to support this business, especially since he came recommended. Well at this point he’s lost my business due to his own fault and my dad’s business due to his being disappointed he recommended him. Just terrible customer service & plain rude to leave someone hanging on several occasions.

I couldn't recommend this company enough! Had Ed out today to install a heat pump that we had purchased based on someone else's information. Ed came out and got right to work. Never once tried to upsell or anything. He was very honest prior to any work starting that there could be issues that come up. Ed is my go to. He fixed my furnace in the winter. And I called him when my AC was making a weird sound in the summer. He's the best! And will be my go to for any HVAC issue.

Our heat pump stopped working and we called Ed's Heating and Cooling to diagnose the problem. After testing the heat pump and the thermostat it was determined that the fan unit was inoperable. Ed ordered the parts necessary to repair the system and when the parts became available he called me and scheduled a time to come over and install the repair parts. The whole repair took him about 2 hours to install and test the heat output.

I want to mention here that Ed's Heating and Cooling was not the first place that I called. He was actually the second place that I called. I wanted a second opinion about what was necessary to repair our heat pump because the first place that I called claimed that our whole system needed replacement due to age and parts no longer being available to repair it. I was dubious about that diagnosis and I decided to get a second opinion. I am certainly glad that I did and more so because I ended up calling Ed's Heating and Cooling.

I cannot adequately express how satisfied that I am with Ed's expertise and professionalism. He ended up saving us about $8000 in unnecessary replacement of our heat pump. He was extremely polite and very patient when he explained what was actually wrong with our system, and how long it would take to get the parts and perform the repair. It is rare these days to find service professionals that are willing to take the time necessary to fully inform the customer what is wrong and ensure that the customer understands what the repair plan is. I appreciated that immensely.

One more thing of note is that Ed's Heating and Cooling offers Military, First Responder, and Senior's a 10% discount. That was certainly appreciated!

Was extremely gracious and patient with me as I hovered over him as he worked on my furnace. He even went so far as to explain to me how everything worked in detail. My last review of Ed’s could have been better because of a mixup on his part and probably an over reaction on my part. Ed came out and went above and beyond to not only fix the original issue but gain a lifetime customer. He completely went through the system cleaning and checking everything plus explaining it as he went. His knowledge and over all customer service is top notch. I will without a doubt use him for my next furnace issue and you should too. 5 stars!

Amazing small veteran owned business. If you are in the Yelm/JBLM area this guy is worth it for sure. Show him some love. I promise you will not be let down versus a lot of these corporate controlled businesses that don’t care about you. His sense of URGENCY and communication is hands down 10/10. Ed came to my home to what we both thought would be rather a straight forward problem but we all know that is never the case especially how things are designed now. He continued to work the issue and make a repair that I bet most HVAC techs could not. I want to add that he was also able to help I believe two other families in need while completing my repair and going hell and back for parts. Ed was there for me when the furnace at my Lakewood house started giving me trouble. He came out the next day and fixed it. This is the 2nd time I have used him and his pricing is far more reasonable than other HVAC repair companies.

Thermostat screen went out. No air conditioning. On one of the hottest weekends of the year. One call and the HVAC hero was at the house and fixed the problem the same day. Strongly recommend for your HVAC needs.

The service was truly superb and far exceeded my expectation! I explained our situation and expected to get scheduled sometime in the week. Brandon called me and made time to come out that same day. He knew the temperature would be in the 90's on Mother's day, so he came out this evening and got our cooling system back up running. He explained everything he was doing, walked me through the meter readings and what they meant. He tested everything to ensure we had cooling before the scorching temps hit. He was very friendly, down to earth and professional. What impressed me the most was that he made the time because he cares about people.
