Customer feedback is mixed regarding the services provided by Kelley and A1E Exteriors. While many reviews highlight positive experiences with timely service, quality workmanship, and reasonable pricing, there are significant concerns raised about licensing and financial practices. Some customers report satisfaction with the communication and thoroughness of the work, but others strongly caution potential clients about hiring due to serious allegations of mismanagement and lack of proper licensing. Overall, there is a notable divide in customer experiences, necessitating careful consideration.
- Kelley performed a thorough inspection and delivered a reasonable quote quickly.
- He was on time, quick, and answered all my questions with expertise knowledge.
- Their bid was well below anyone else’s and their craftsmanship was amazing.
- He is always upfront with what it will cost and provides alternatives.
- The house looked great & they left no mess at all!
- Be very careful hiring this contractor, he doesn't have a license nor should he.
- He will ask for a huge deposit and then magically run out of 'your money'.
- He was fired from the project because he ran out of our money for things we already paid deposits on.

Be very careful hiring this contractor, he doesn't have a license nor should he. A1E Exteriors, LLC or Aardvark ENT or Kelly House are 100% the worst. Just check the contractor's license if you don't believe this review. He will ask for a huge deposit and then magically run out of "your money" because he spent it on another project (or better yet in my case, for personal debts he had for his poor life management skills). He was fired from the project because he ran out of our money for things we already paid deposits on (materials) and then had the audacity to ask for another check to be paid for the same materials he already got money for... The "I'm just a small business owner and veteran" bit is just that, a scam. Even when Kelly House offered to come and finish the work, you should see a simple door he hung; it looks like a 3rd grader did the work. The door is off by more than a quarter inch and the door frame now has a 1/2-inch gap for the fresh air to breeze in! So yeah dude, you couldn't nail a board on your own head right. Just check the L/I website for how good this guy is. Be aware, any money he asks for from you will be lost or mismanaged. Thank God we found a good contractor to finish the work, but he stiffed us over 40k because of it. So don't fall for the "I'm a veteran" BS, he has zero honor in comparison to real veterans I know personally.

Two of my windows were damaged and I’ve been dreading the repair process and cost. I was able to schedule an appointment with Kelley and he performed a thorough inspection. During the inspection he found more water damage behind my siding. The quote was delivered quickly and was very reasonable. I am very appreciative he took time to explain the issue and the importance of the repair. He performed quality work and although he wasn’t rushed the work was completed quickly. If you’re looking for someone to repair, replace, or improve your home or windows I would highly recommend Kelley.

Kelley does absolutely amazing beautiful work. He was on time, quick and answered all my questions with expertise knowledge. He knew everything or he knew where to find it! Definitely recommend his service

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
