Ecos was fantastic! A pipe froze during a nearly -20F cold snap and it of course thawed as I was traveling for the holidays (The spigot line was in a finished wall in a ground floor bedroom we used for storage and as an exercise room). I knew Ecos would be slammed with other customers between fire mitigation and many other people who had frozen pipes! Yet they arrived shortly after I called the insurance company, even though I was a 4 hr plane ride away. The protected the floors, moved the small stuff way upstairs, protected those large items (couch, treadmill, elliptical, ect) that couldn't be moved easily, and were super helpful in explaining everything that was happening during the drying process. And if something didn't go as planned, they laid out plans B and maybe even C if needed. (When this room was finished, the builder put plastic between the drywall and insulation, which did an amazing job holding moisture in! - Being a realtor, I'm in many homes, and this was a first for me!). If you can get them during a "disaster" like this last freeze, you'll be in great hands!

ECOS did a good job on cleaning up from some relatively small water damage at my house in Boulder. It was a one-day job and they did it well. The final bill was actually about half of the estimate. I've had cases before where mitigation/remediation companies bill super-high since they figure that everything is going to insurance, and I was super happy with ECOS not going this route.

OTOH, ECOS' communications were really poor. I probably had four calls with them where they said they'd call me back 'in 10 minutes' or 'tomorrow morning' and they never did. The work crew showed up without an appointment, and never notified either me or the tenant. I asked for photos of the job after it was done, and was promised them, and they never came. The last call I received from them was from their QA person asking me to leave a 5-star review. I asked again for photos, she said she'd send them -- but nothing from them since.

[Followup: I got a really nice call from the owner, admitting to some dropped balls and crossed wires. He found a couple of photos that had been taken and never sent as well. He seemed honest and concerned and I would not hesitate to call them again.]

ECOS was great to work with. Every aspect of the job was taken care of carefully, and response to my concerns and questions was quick and accurate. Workmen were fantastic, showing up on time, keeping on schedule, and leaving my place clean overnight. Thank you all! I’m glad I chose ECOS.

ECOS was friendly and professional from the moment i sent the request. All documents and payment were handled electronically and my asbestos testing took three days from the moment i contacted them till i got the results. I wish everything moved that fast.

Brian Johnson, the general contractor who worked on my house after a fire, is the man! I have been impressed with his quality of work, work ethic and commitment to his client. Fortunately, I was the client he represented throughout a very difficult insurance claim process. Along the way, Brian ensured that I was fairly and appropriately credited with “like kind and quality” for all repairs. He was devoted to making it right and endured challenge after challenge on my behalf. I was so grateful to have him on my side. Additionally, Brian’s standards for quality of workmanship are tip top. He has high expectations which are reflected in the work that gets done. The house that Brian repaired for me is beautiful, down to the hinge on every door. Brian is a warm personality that has the respect of his crew and his vendors. He is a good communicator and has a strong sense of customer service. I know he will take good care of any client who crosses his path. If you need a general contractor, I highly recommend Brian Johnson!

Ecos Environmental is horrible. Is is the class contractor story- they say they will get it the work done in a week but then the week goes by, and another week, and another, and it's still not done. I had an apartment room that flooded from an upstairs shower and it was only supposed to take 3 months. After 9 months, Ecos still had not finished the project even though I was following up with them on about a weekly basis to get the status of the project. If you need a Boulder company, please use 24-7 Restoration. I used them later on and they were so awesome!

My vacation home in Boulder got hit with some severe water damage when I was away. I liked Ecos' professionalism and prompt response to help me out. They remedied the problem and billed the insurance, a win-win for me.

Immediately after my desperate phone call, routed through my insurer, on Monday, May 8, 2017 resulting from the horrendous hail storm that afternoon, ECOS had Mr. Juan Castillo on our roof within 45 minutes of the storm! Our main skylight and one other had been shattered. The larger skylight was leaking down on my wife's baby grand piano. Mr. Castillo and ECOS saved the piano and the house from further damage.
Even with subsequent rain and snow, not a drop of water has penetrated the tarp and coverings placed by Mr. Castillo that afternoon. Thank you Juan Castillo and Gen at ECOS for your extremely prompt and effective response !

ECOS came to my place quickly, did a thorough job and were polite and courteous the while time. Very happy with the service.

Called and got an appointment for them to come out and provide an estimate to do cleanup for mouse droppings. Nice gal setup the appointment. They're supposed to be here between 9-9:30 this morning, they call back to say the person is going to be late, and "oh by the way", we charge $200 to come out and provide an estimate but we'll roll that into the costs if you go with us. Kind of key piece of information, and poor timing to drop that information on someone. Besides the fact that most service oriented companies do estimates at not cost as part of business, but I would have less of an issue with it had they actually told us that up front rather than "our guy is late, and more good news, give us $200 that we didn't tell you about".

We were very happy in all our dealings with ECOS. From the initial call until all the work was completed they were prompt and professional.

All the people we dealt with at Ecos were excellent. When we first called the morning we discovered the wet carpet, they got a team out that day. Afterward, they were very willing to work with our schedule to get everything completed. The crews were excellent, very respectful of our situation, polite, and did outstanding work. In addition, the office staff were good to work with, and kept us appraised of any changes or delays, which were very few. We would definitely recommend them

Currently working with ECOS and am sorely disappointed with their lack of consideration and timeliness with my situation. I am working with them now, hence the "anonymous customer" name, but am starting to fully regret this choice. A full and detailed review will be completed once my job is complete...if that ever happens.

What a great customer friendly and knowledgable service. The guys were very personable and efficient! My house only had a minor leak in the roof the team did not hesitate to get it dried and completed tarp on the roof in a reasonable time! I would recommend them in a heartbeat! They are fantastic!!

I LOVE ECOS! My landlords love ECOS. They, as was I, were astounded at the level of clean that was accomplished in such a short amount of time. It’s highly probable we will not repaint at this time because of the complete and thorough job they did.
