We write to recommend Cottonwood Custom Builders with enthusiasm and without reservation. They undertook the difficult task of restoring our house after it suffered pervasive damage from water exposure. Working with Chris Sommers and Calvin Yee was a real pleasure. They explained everything that needed to be done in ways that we could understand and were responsive to all our questions and concerns throughout the 5-month process. They provided supervision of all subcontractors and saw to it that Cottonwood’s high standards were met. We are extremely pleased with the restoration and the entire outcome!

We worked with Jeff and the Cottonwood team to build our custom home, including complete renovation of an existing bungalow into a guest house, and new construction of the "main house" on our central Boulder property. The Cottonwood team is professional, reliable, collaborative and of the highest integrity. Their work is super high quality and they are always up to date on the best and most modern building materials and practices. We were especially happy that they are environmentally conscious, as they are green building experts. They completed our project on time and on budget. We highly recommend working with the Cottonwood team!

Excellent! I had Cottonwood (recommended by my amazing architect, Roland Hower) work on my home while I had another team of architect and GC work on another project. This literally gave me a side-by-side comparison of the two and the difference was nightmare and day. The Cottonwood team and Chris, our project manager, were great! It was obvious they took pride in their work and reputation. Cottonwood team acted as my advocate working with Subs to ensure top quality work. When issues came up, and all projects do, they were very responsive. There is good reason why Cottonwood is considered one of the best (and reasonably priced). I love my wonderful new home and I really appreciate the Cottonwood team. Thank you!

Cottonwood built our custom home and were incredible to work with. The entire process of designing and building a home can be pretty overwhelming. The team at Cottonwood made the process enjoyable.
They were incredibly reliable, easy to communicate with, and most importantly, ensured that every element of our home was built to an incredibly high quality standard. There were no surprises, stresses or struggles. We would use them again in a heartbeat.
