It was a breeze working with Eccard Excavating. From start to the final grade at our new build home, Cody and his amazing crew had the expertise to make our lot look great!

Based on the reviews, we called Eccard Excavating when the pump when out in our septic system after only 2 years. Not only were they here super fast but their pricing was very fair. We will call them in the future for sure and will spread the word to friends and family.

These guys are the best out there. VERY QUICK estimate, after a VERY QUICK inspection, follow by a VERY IMPRESSIVE job performed. My wife and I will refer these folks over and over again!

I recently hired Eccard Excavating to handle several critical aspects of my new build, and i couldn’t be more pleased with the results! They were responsible for digging the foundation, expanding the entrance to the property, digging trenches for drainage tile and Eletric, back filling the basement of the old demolished house, and installing a complete new septic system. Every task was handled with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail.

The team was punctual, communicated clearly throughout the project, and ensured that everything was done efficiently and within the timeframe. They worked hard to keep the site clean and safe, which i appreciated.

Our septic tank was backing up. Eccard came out quickly to inspect are issues. They were very quick to identify our issue and educate us on what needed to be done to fix the issue. When they came back to perform the repair, not everything they expected had to be done. They were honest with this and adjusted our repair cost accordingly. I would definitely use them again and refer them to my friends and family.

Eccard kept us updated as to when workers would arrive, and they were always within the timeframe predicted. They communicated efficiently and we felt informed to the problem, solution, and completion date. They fixed the drainage for our septic in a day. Very grateful for the prompt response!

Couldn't be happier with the results of a large drainage project on our property, as well as a large treed area needed to be brush cleared via forestry mulching. Eccard Excavating did an excellent job handling our drainage situation in our backyard. They installed a catch basin, french drain and tied in our downspouts. We couldn't be happier with the results and the price. 10/10 recommend.

Excellent service! Came out and looked and it was something minor. They didn’t try to tell me something was wrong that wasn’t. They fixed it quickly and only charged me the call fee. Very nice and professional. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend Eecard Excavating. Had some septic issues at my home, was given Eccard Excavating's name from Affordable Septic Service in Lancaster, Oh. Eccard came out the next day and diagnosed the issue as well as trying a few things to try to resolve the problem first without bringing equipment out. My issue did call for some small excavation work but was not nearly as scary or expensive as I had imagined. My issues were handled in a professional and knowledgeable manner and stayed within scope of needed work. I am so relieved that everything is now fixed and up to code and stayed within my budget. Everyone was prompt, knowledgeable as well as comforting in an ugly situation (septic issues aren't the most pretty). Eccard fixed my issue and Affordable Septic came same day and they both worked great together. Highly recommend them as they are honest, reliable, professional and fair. 5 stars!

As soon as I told them that the old house trailer was out of the way Cody and his crew was out within a matter of days to replace my old leach field. He said that he would be back out after the site settles and make my yard look better without the mounds of earth. It will also make it easier to mow come spring.

We had a 32 foot block building on our property which previous owners used as a dog kennel. Over the years it began to deteriorate and became an eye sore. After making the decision to have it removed, I began the search for an excavating company. It was because of excellent Google reviews that I found Eccard Excavating. Cody stopped by our house, took a walk around the building and the area in our yard prone to flooding. He explained that Eccard can remove the structure plus add drainage to keep the yard drive. Cody provided a quote which I felt was extremely reasonable. Bad weather this spring and summer really backed up their projects so it took a while to get the job scheduled. Once work started, the building was down and gone in 6 hours. Cody returned the next morning and installed perforated drainage pipe. The area had been checked for underground utility lines but the cable TV line was not flagged. Cody took exceptional time and care to insure our internet and television was not interrupted.

Cody and his crew were excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable and they were able to get the job done in a very timely manner. Cody was very good at explaining things and responded to calls/texts quickly. Would definitely recommend and I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services in the future.

I contacted Eccard Excavating for help on a large project. They cut in part of a driveway and built a pad for a pole barn.

Cody was prompt to reply and met with me several times to discuss the project. He is very knowledgeable and an absolute expert in his craft.

Once the project started, Cody and his guys were at the site everyday until the work was done (there were a few weather delays but that is expected).

The finished product exceeded all expectations! They built up and improved the grade and they reshaped the land to fix drainage issues that had been a problem.

This is only part of the improvements needed on the land and when we are ready to complete the build, Cody will be back to finish the driveway and possible other jobs.

He is very prompt, upfront with costs, potential cost adjustments, and he seems to always be available.

Eccard Excavating completed two projects for our new home - a complete septic system and downspout conductors. We bought a piece of land and hired Eccard Excavating for our septic and grading. We quickly realized pooling water was an issue on our lot. Cody and his team designed and implemented drainage that has worked awesome at keeping our basement dry even when we got 2 inches of rain in one day. We are very happy with our completed project.

The property is in Lancaster, Ohio and we live in Hawaii but he was very responsive to my initial texts, went to the house quickly and worked with the City in a timely manner. We thought we had to replace the sewage line on the property. He found the issue and had it fixed within a couple of days from start of contact with City to finish. Highly recommend them!

I needed to replace our septic tank distribution box that had deteriorated over the years. I dug it up and did as much as I could do, then realized I need a bit more assistance. Cody was recommended to me via a friend and I called him on Friday afternoon (non emergency) and described our problem. He was able to come out today, (Monday) He installed a Polylok valve for me on the input and 2 outflow pipes (and thus ridding us of having a distribution box) - he arrived at the time he said he would, was very friendly and affable. KUDOS to Cody. GREAT service, very reasonable price! Thank you for your work here. Much appreciated!

After having a few contractors come out and look at how to improve drainage in our back yard over the past few years, we are still waiting for a quote from all of them. Then came a recommendation from a neighbor to contact Cody at Eccard Excavating. Cody made time to come out early in 2020 and discuss what we wanted to do. We had a quote within a week and a tentative schedule already planned out for mid-summer. With our drainage being in a preservation easement, we had a setback with the Corps of Engineers and had to push the project to October. Cody worked with his schedule to make the time frame work between a few of his other projects. When it came time to do the job, Cody was very proactive in communication, letting us know when he'd be here, if he got set back, and if he had to run to another site for a few days. He was efficient in his work, did exactly what he said he would do (and a little more!), and is one of the nicest guys you can meet.
