Eagle Roofing & Construction - Plano, TX

We had a small spot on our roof where the shingles were lifting up. It wasn't leaking yet, but we wanted to get it fixed before things got worse. Reached out to Eagle and they were on site the next day. They repaired the problem and then walked the entire roof looking for any other signs of trouble. They found some other minor issues which they immediately fixed at no extra cost. Ernie was professional, prompt and great to work with and the price was completely reasonable.

Ernie and his crew were amazing from the first initial look at our roof to the very last day of putting on a whole new roof. His crew came in and they were very respectful and professional from the first day to the very last day. Ernie's crew gave me a whole new roof, it went from having cement tiles and no backing to a beautiful roof with new vents and soffits. I would recommend Ernie and his crew to anyone.

After hail damage and a subsequent water leak inside, Ernie McKnight hired excellent, efficient, courteous subcontractors to replace the roof, fix the gutters, and paint. He a trustworthy contractor who communicates regularly, and he took the time to explain the process with both kindness and patience. I can't recommend him highly enough. And best of all - my house looks great!

Ernie remodeled our kitchen back in 2017, replaced our roof in 2020 and replaced all of our window glass with high efficiency panes in 2021
His workers are friendly, efficient, and reliable. They cleanup after themselves, and did a great job in all cases.

Ernie and Eagle Roofing did a major makeover of our downstairs and we could not be happier. New flooring, new kitchen countertops and backsplash, new bathrooms with a beautiful walk in shower replacing our old tub, and completely new cabinets. They do it all and do it well!!

Ernie replaced a sunroof on my atrium. He estimate was $5000 less than another roofer's estimate. He was prompt, efficient, responsive and professional. After a really hard rain there was one small leak and he came out and fixed it with no additional charge. I have used him in the past for roofing issues and he has always been honest and professional. That's why I had him replace my atrium roof and why I will use him for any roofing issues in the future. We had been slowly losing shingles over the past year and after a storm this past Sunday we had lost quite a bit of our shingles. I called Eagle Roofing and Ernie was just amazing. He explained everything to me on how he would go about inspecting the roof and letting us know if they could perform a repair or if we would have to replace the roof. Eagle Roofing did a great job! They were fast and efficient; even had same day service! This time it was a roof repair, at a reasonable price might I add, but when the time comes to replace the roof, I know who we are calling. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Ernie installed exhaust fans in both of our bathrooms and vented them up through the roof. It's fun working with Ernie and his team because they are very knowledgeable of all sorts of home repair. They do high quality work, and they can help you figure out an affordable solution for the work you need to get done. We would definitely hire Eagle Roofing for future roof and/or remodeling work.

We had the privilege of working with Eagle roofing for replacement due to a storm. Everyone was awesome. From our Representative to the actual crew that performed the work. Ernie ensured that all questions were answered completely related to the process from A to Z. He checked on the crew several times during the day the roof was replaced. The crew that replaced the roof were incredible. Anytime I walked out to check on them the foreman would stop what he was doing and ask if he could help me. In addition to the great roof we got the clean up work was done perfect. No roofing nails in the yard, no debris in the ally or street. GREAT JOB!!!!

I called Eagle Roofing & Construction to replace a roof ridge support in my attic. Ernie came out first thing the next morning to review. The crew performed the work a few days later. They arrived at the scheduled time, completed the work quickly and left a clean jobsite. It is refreshing to work with a company that is willing to take on a small job. Eagle roofing replaced our roof last fall after hail damaged our roof last spring. Ernie was courteous and prompt. He explained all the items on the insurance estimate and answered any questions i had regarding the claim and the actual work itself. His crew was very professional and made sure all the trash and debris were cleaned and hauled off. We are happy with our experience with Eagle and will recommend them to our friends and family.

We have done 3 projects with Eagle Roofing and Construction so far and are very pleased with the quality of the work and their attentiveness to detail. We had them replace our roof, replace and paint siding on our chimney, and demolish and replace our severely cracked concrete driveway. Each project was done in a timely manner. The workers were personable and showed great pride in their workmanship. The concrete crew was especially noteworthy in that they helped me work through some drainage issues and worked with me on some minor changes that I requested.

We are getting ready to do our 4th project with them to replace a few gutters and add some new ones to help reduce flooding in our backyard.

Ernie is great to work with and was responsive to all of my concerns. His crews showed up on time and got the work done in a timely manner. All three crews cleaned up well after themselves.

I have a very busy schedule but my roof was hit so bad by the hail this Spring. Eagle Roofing helped me in everything including dealing with my insurance company to get claim filed and checked issued. The repair work was efficient with good quality and a timely manner. After my neighbor saw their work, they asked for their name and got everything repaired through Eagle as well. They enjoyed Eagle's work in the same way.

Ernie showed up in about 30 minutes after I called him about possible hail damage a couple of years ago. His guys use hammers and a nail gun. Happy with the work, professionalism and quality of the job. Had a recent hail storm again and Ernie just came by, went up on the roof, and checked out possibilities of damage....NO Damage! gotta be good work!

We recently had another hail storm and after the storm was over the next day on Saturday I found the AC cap laying in the grass.I called Ernie and asked if he could come to fix it and because it was supposed to rain on Sunday he said he would come at noon. Instead of going to church, he came to my house and was able to resolve the issue immediately. I have no words to thank him because no one is expected to work on a Sunday, and it was supposed to rain that day as i said. He is a kind man and hard working and i cannot express my gratitude that he was able to come before the rain started and help fix the cap.

We experienced a Texas wind storm and needed to have our roof replaced. Eagle gave us a number of shades/grades of shingle of choose from with pros and cons based on their 20+ yrs of experience. Demo and installation was a breeze.

Recently, I needed them to quote another roof of a family member and they responded quickly.

Eagle Roofing put a new roof on my house in Plano last summer, 2014. The guys were hard workers and very nice. They removed 2 layers of old roofing, and did a wonderful clean-up job. All within my budget.

We were searching everywhere for a roofer that could repair a leak on a tile roof. I contacted Eagle Roofing after reading their excellent reviews. Ernie was very pleasant and able to diagnose our roof leak quickly. Ernie provided a very reasonable estimate and explained, in detail, what needed to be done in order to repair the leak properly. He even took pictures of the area in need of repair so I could better understand the problem as well as the solution. To my amazement, he started to repair the roof immediately...no long drawn out process. Eagle Roofing is very reliable, knowledgeable and cost efficient. Hopefully, I will not experience anymore roofing problems, but if I do, I sure know who to call.....Eagle Roofing! One very pleased customer!

Ernie has helped us with many different items but the main one and most important is our AC bill. We first started with an attic fan and that alone has dropped our electric bill down. Excellent experience. I was in the middle of selling a house, and contract required a new roof with short notice prior to our closing --- Eagle Roofing came through, with an excellent crew and knocked it out. Roof was perfect, and crew cleaned up extremely well. I'd hire them again any day!

we completed gutted and remodeled our kitchen and adjacent rooms. This involved removing a wall and installing a support beam. The process of removing old cabinets and appliances and existing wall and then installing beam and new cabinets went smoothly. The end result is a beautiful, contemporary kitchen that is open to adjoining rooms. It turned out better than we had hoped it would.

We had shingles sliding down our roof after a rain/wind/hail storm in March. I called Eagle Roofing and Ernie came out to inspect my roof within two days. Two days later he met with the insurance adjuster at our home and allowed the adjuster to determine that we needed a new roof. Our new roof was installed in a day and a half with a quality crew. Ernie even suggested power vents over turbines to remove heat from the attic. I am very pleased with Ernie and Eagle Roofing for so promptly putting a new roof over our heads and protecting our home and I cannot thank him enough for working around our schedules as teachers to inspect, work with our insurance company, and have our roof installed to our satisfaction.
