Dwell replaced 11 pipe jacks that just broke from sitting in the sun for who knows how many years and many of the shingles around them on my roof recently and the guys did a great job. I thought that job would only take half the day but they took their time. We all know fast construction work is 'crap' work and when you're not paying per hour, fast work is what most contractors do, most likely to move on to the next job. The guys including Josh, did the job right and I'm confident the spots they fixed will not let water in.

Josh with Dwell was awesome. I had a leak under one of these guys on my roof, and Josh was so helpful and took care of everything. Strongly recommend based on my experience.

They replaced my roof and updated a section of the fence. The work was done quickly with no delays.

After many failed attempts with trying to reach the roofing company that previously serviced my roof and where I have my warranty… I reached out to Dwell Roofing & Exteriors. I had a roof leak that was causing damage to my living room wall. It was getting worse and we had more rain coming. Josh came out quickly, assessed the damage and found the roof leak. He quoted me upfront and the cost was fair and reasonable. They took before and after photos and did a phenomenal job. I purchased my home in 2014 and had always dreaded the day I’d have to tackle major repairs - especially the siding. After years of windstorms here in DFW, that day finally came. A major storm last year caused damage to both the exterior (roof and siding) and interior (water damage). Unfortunately, my go-to roofing company completely dropped the ball -- delayed claims, no follow-ups, and a total lack of transparency.

There was some confusion with project scope (skylight replacement and roof tune up) that I was unhappy with, but Josh and the owner stepped up and made everything right without hesitation. UPDATE: I used Dwell again, since I've had such a great experience with Andrew Griggs in the past. This time we did the full roof replacement. My roof was already deteriorating before the wind storm took off a bunch of shingles. I knew this was the time, and it was MY decision to get a full replacement. There was no pressure from Andrew to do a full replacement.

WHAT AN UPGRADE. I went from a low quality 3-tab shingle roof to a Class 3 Architectural roof. Check out the before-and-after on the last photo for comparison. I could not be happier with Andrew and Dwell. It's the only company I would recommend to people. He even got the price down to below the estimate he gave me!

The day of installation everyone was there on time and they are a well-oiled machine. I felt like I got the best of the best and they finished everything in 1 day and cleaned up incredibly well.

This is the company to go with. Don't shop around. Get the best.

Due to the recent 76 mph windstorm, a section of my roof was exposed because the tiles were blown away. Jesse, the owner, personally covered the exposed area immediately and, after approval, sent his crew to replace the missing tiles. They did a thorough job. Jesse and his crew are professional, honest, and reasonable. Consequently, Dwell Roofing and Exteriors will be my first choice for future projects.

Recently had some minor storm damage to our roof so decided to call Dwell to inspect and recommend repairs. Within a day of calling, Westley came out and did the inspection. I was impressed by the explanation I received about the needed repairs and how quickly they were able to come out and ultimately perform those repairs considering how busy this time of year is. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend this company.

Really great experience with Dwell Roofing. This is my first time ever having to replace a roof, and when I need this again in the future, I'll give them a call.

I had an initial glitch with scheduling when I called their office to get an estimate. The gentleman who was to come out had a syncing issue I believe with his calendar and so missed my appointment. I called in to ask if I had gotten the date or time wrong. Minutes later, the owner Jesse called me to let me know what happened, apologized for the glitch, and within 30 minutes he was at my house and did the review himself.

From that point on he kept me informed via text or email as to what was going on for each phase. The entire roof replacement took most of the day (info for those like me who never went through this before). I had a sealed gutter system that also needed to be replaced, so they then scheduled that at a later date soon after the roof was done. Everything was completed when promised (the gutter system took a little less time).

The best part is their office dealt with the insurance company a LOT. I barely had to deal with them other than their own initial inspection and a few emails with payment issue that I forwarded to Dwell Roofing's office. Dwell was able to get all the money owed to them from insurance company and then I paid my deductible. If you haven't done this before either: the insurance company sends you the checks then you pay Dwell. If you have a mortgage like I do, the mortgage company has to co-endorse the checks, so be sure you find out from your mortgage company how that's done. Dwell asked for around 1/3 payment after they were done with the first part, then I was able to send them the rest once insurance sent me all the checks (3 paper checks and one direct deposit - this all took over 4 months). So thankfully I was able to have the new roof and gutter system on and then they kept after the insurance company to get the rest of the money. I was never asked to pay ahead of time or anything like that.

No one likes to deal with these big projects, but I appreciate the great experience. It made things much easier! Highly recommended!

As first-time homeowners, we've had a lot to learn, and Andrew took the time to explain everything clearly. Dwell was great, they performed two repairs for us due to a roof leak and siding damage due to squirrel's. Jantzen was excellent at coming out very quickly with a temporary solution, and then later at completing the permanent repairs. They we're even able to recommend someone for drywall repair for the interior. Overall, we've had a great experience and have recommended them to friends.

I am happy with the service Dwell Roofing provided for us. Josh gave me detailed information about the condition of our lintels. The lintels were thoroughly rusted and I was worried about their integrity. Josh explained more about the lintels and how to maintain them so that they can last our lifetime and avoid costly replacement in the future. My turbine was making a weird sound all of a sudden. So I called Dwell Roofing who I've had good experience with in the past to come out. But the next day the turbine stop making the weird sound so I called Dwell to cancel since I thought it must have fixed itself. Good thing Kelly still came out and informed me it's actually broken that's why it stop making the sound. He was able to get me set up and repair other part of my roof as well for a good deal. Dwell has always done me right and they will for you as well.

I urgently needed gutter repair for the rainy season. Dwell was very responsive, came out quickly, and made the process easy and efficient. They were so personable and informative at every step. I am so delighted with the work they did, I've been recommending them to friends and family!

The work was done by two experienced crews, especially the "lead men" who had the strength and the youth for "roof repair". When the work was completed, I checked the attic right after the next rain and the leaks were gone.
The gentleman that did the initial estimate, Josh deLa Rosa, was very knowlegeable and you could tell that he had a good deal of experience in roof repair techniques .
The only difficulty I had was working with the office and setting a definite date and time for repair crews to arrive. The office does the scheduling but could never tell me if I was "on the schedule". After making a phone call, we got that problem fixed.

First, I'd like to say I recommend Dwell Roofing & Exteriors wholeheartedly. Here're are the reasons why. Number one, Andrew Griggs called me 4 days prior to my scheduled initial appointment to let me know he wanted to visit early due to an arctic blast blowing in with wintery mix that day. He drove from Fort Worth to Garland, put up tarp to protect my roof where the damage was seen, all while the arctic blast was moving in. That was above and beyond, and he did it because he didn't want me to have water damage where my shingles were missing. Number two. When Dwell Roofing did the repair job a week later, they were on time and professional, and exactly met the cost estimate. Number three. We've now had, this January and February, frequent rain and more than one storm, and the the leak in the roof I had experienced hasn't shown one sign of leaking again. Quality work. Jordan assessed the situation, gave me details, asked me to confirm options, and we were on our way. Quote was reasonable and plan made sense. Jordan is excellent at listening, reassuring, clarifying, and making the right calls. Mario, roofer technician did an outstanding job fixing everything. Both of them were an amazing team. I have been working with Jacob from Dwell Roofing. The communication has been great from the start. If I have any questions and concerns during the process, it has been addressed promptly and honestly. We had our roof done last week and the roofing crew was by far one of the more professional crews I have encountered. They worked swiftly but at the same time the roof was done in an organized manner. They worked hard to make sure they weren't too intrusive since I was working at home. They are still currently working on fixing the other issues and I expect it to be an easy process from here on out. I would definitely recommend contacting Jacob if you want a professional roofing company with great communication.

*update* - I had a small job after a recent hailstorm which was took so long in quoting. Afterwards they gave me a fair price, and did good work, cleaned up after themselves and got the job done quick. This bumped it from a 1-star to a 3-star for me.

I’m sure these guys do great work, but they were here six ago and I’ve texted several times and e-mailed to get my quote and they keep saying they will send it and never do.

I have used Dwell Roofing for 4 different projects so far, and I will continue to use their services as I have not had a bad experience yet.

Jacob was sent out to inspect the damage, and then he began working with our insurance to help us get a new roof. These guys are great! I had a leak garage along a wall a year ago and got multiple bids to address the issue. Dwell gave me a variety of options, ranging from a quick, inexpensive fix that would likely solve the problem to a more extensive repair that would definitely solve the problem (but was probably overkill). Dwell's quotes were more reasonable relative to other bids and they are the only company that even gave me the option of a quick, inexpensive fix. After talking through the options, they suggested I try the inexpensive fix as they really thought it'd solve the problem. I went with it, saved about $2K, and over a year in there have been no issues at all. I had another (totally unrelated) issue recently. They came out, said there was a gap in between bricks letting water get in during heavy rains, and caulked it for $20 on the spot. In both of these experiences, they've let me know exactly what the current issue is as well as what potential future issues may be. They've recommended I fix the current issues as the future issues can be resolved in the future when more extensive repairs (or a roof replacement) is actually necessary. This is exactly what you'd hope for in a contractor -- someone to apprise you of the issues, provide sound advice (without recommending unnecessary, costly repairs), and then quickly and efficiently completing the job.

Had a great experience with Kelly. I had exterior wood trim around my windows, doors, and chimney on my 20+yr old house that was rotting and needed replacing. Kelly and his guys did great work and I'm very pleased with the results.

As a homeowner there are so many contractors and companies to consider when you need work done. DWELL IS OUTSTANDING! I had Kelly from Dwell Roofing to do a roofing inspection. I had another company mentioning that there was hail damage to the roof & may be able to do a claim to get the roof replaced. I was skeptical about that as no one in the neighborhood had the roof damaged.

Kelly let me know that only the patio roofing needed replaced & chimney needed to the changed.

This was very honest & more in line with my expectation. Thank you for all your help on this.

We received superb service from Andrew and his team. They did an impeccable cleanup job on our lawn! As our Mom use to tell us clean as you go, they did exactly that! Andrew held a very professional and knowledgeable conversation with my spouse and that meant a lot to me when working with contractors. He listened to us as well and offered professional advise. If you can hire dozens of companies to do any of the jobs Dwell does, why go with Dwell? Because Jesse sees it as his job to care about your house as much as you do, and he also uses parts that will actually last instead of cheaping out with the bare minimum like a lot of companies do. With his recommendations, I got a new roof and lower energy bills while I was at it, and with Jesse's understanding of the insurance and contracting sides, it'll run smoothly, efficiently, and reasonably.

Quality work and owner was easy to contact and had great follow up.

They did a great job on the roof in terms of the actual quality of work and working with our insurance company. However, the lack of follow through afterwords when I requested additional quotes and was completely ignored, is lacking. I guess once they're paid they don't care anymore. I don't know why they wouldn't want additional business but after requesting additional quotes for my other properties numerous times, they never responded.

Jesse & his crew did an excellent job on our flooded house from day one till the end. Very responsive to our needs and scheduled his employees to work effectively and efficiently. Jesse also made regular onsite visits and can be relied on to get the job done right.
This is the second time we have used his service and he consistently scores 10/10.

Can I give 6 stars? Jesse, the Owner, is a top notch guy. Straight-dealing is what my Grandad would say. He does what he says he will do, and doesn't over promise. They are awesome, in simplest terms. He came out recently to replace some shingles lost in a wind storm. All my experiences have been great. He was thorough and quick, plus always above and beyond. Jesse will answer your questions, and make sure everything done is understood.

If you need roofing, why would call anyone else? I know that I won't. Trust in the roofing industry is a scarce commodity, and that is what I have with them.

Kelly Thompson came out to help me out when my gutters were hanging on by a nail. Even after the winter storm and them being extremely busy, they squeezed me into their schedule and now I have gutters much more secure and better placed than before. Kelly and his team at Dwell repaired some minor roof damage after the ice storm in early 2021 and did a full roof tune up. From the start, Kelly was extremely communicative and very responsive. He walked me through all of my options, did the repair sooner than expected, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Kelly also never tried to upsell me on unnecessary services. We were so happy with the service that we have asked Dwell to come back out to do some other siding and window work related to our home sale.

Contacted Dwell Roofing for a minor issue that a wind storm caused and they were very responsive and quick!
