E&L Diamond was excellent when we found out our furnace was basically broken beyond repair, naturally in the middle of winter. They were prompt coming out and providing a clear path forward for replacement and estimated costs, as well as reached out to us to install earlier than initially expected. Installation was quick and efficient, and on top of it all we were impressed with their integrity and work ethic in not only doing quality work, but also billed us for slightly less as they did not need as many materials as they initially expected. We will gladly use their services again and would highly recommend!

I would leave a 0 review for this company if possible. We remodeled a 125 year old house. They wired, plumbed and did all mechanical with 2 units . So a lot of money spent. The wiring was a disaster, outlets not where we specified. Plumbing was ok, Mark Brady has morals. But he can only do what they let him do . My contractor did most of the finish plumbing and hanging lights. We just got moved in and no air coming from ductwork on one side of house. Told they have a 1 year warranty and I guess I will have to pay a 2nd time. Upstairs unit condensation line wasn’t ran outside. So water ran through new ceiling and ruined it, had to redo at my expense. Told me I had 10 year warranty on both units.Never sent me any paperwork, who knows? Now, cannot even give a timeline when they can fix ductwork. We are building some spec houses, I know who will not be doing them. I will repost when they get current problems fixed. Run, don’t walk before hiring this company. They used to be really good. Any questions you can email me if need me. THIS COMPANY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY.BUT WILL DO SUBPAR WORK. You really need to find a better company to spend your money.Had another company come out today and they had cobbled up a damper and installed it. It has collapsed, this no heat or AC to 1/2 the house. We have a new damper ordered and will replace one they Jerry made and replace. Probably too sorry to make right part even after money we spent. All companies we talked too said it’s the way Diamond does work now.Ask around , most people agree.Never again after this 30000.00. I would not use them if free. The best part is we get to pay another company to straighten out their trash work.

Wonderful experience with them. Waited over a month for V & H to check a mini-split. No show, no call, no nothing. One call to E L Diamond and they arrived when promised, gave us a very reasonable price on replacement, and did a great job on the install. They’ve got our business going forward! Thanks for a great experience.

Very bad Company. The VP is NOT Customer Friendly. He talks down to you, thinking he is the best thing that ever happened. There prices are way out of Range and if they do not get the Job done right the first time, they will charge you again for the Drive out and will tell you that they will charge you again. I did not and will not pay these Pirates for coming out to fix what they should have done the first time.

Jimmy the VP and Ronny are not worth wasting your time on, they give nothing but bad Service.

These are the folks to call. I had a system installed by a different local company, that never worked correctly. After three years I decided to just replace the whole system. E&L Diamond gave me a reasonable quote and did a great job of installing a new Carrier system . Thanks so much!

E&L did a great job! They were able to start a day ahead of schedule and stayed late to ensure that the job was done on time.

So far, so good. Estimator came out and looked at what work I was needing done. Supposed to send someone out in the next couple of weeks.

Jason and Carmen spent most of a day and a half adding some new outlets in our old 1966 built house, encountering many obstacles, as expected in an older home, but they powered through and now we are ready for new washer, dryer, stove and they found and repaired a couple of safety issues left by previous technicians. Hope we wo t need their services for a long time, but we will definitely call.them again !

Good morning, Thanks for reviewing. I started with E&L prior to Feb 2nd. Initial appt. Fed 2. Tech. Mike came, very knowledable. He called mitsubishi spoke to them then on hold for a hour+. He hung up, said he'd call his rep and the part should be hear in 3 days. I didn't hear from them for several weeks. I went in, they said the part was on order. I didn't hear from them again until I went to the office on the 24 March. They had to shuffle through paperwork to find my info and called the tech. They said the part was sent wrong 3 X's. Still did't have it. They called a few days later, scheduled for 6 April. They cancelled, possible rain. A few days later scheduled, 12 April. Today, they called 10:13, left no message. Call again at 10:34. I called back at 10:36. They cancelled due to rain. My units are not in the weather, their fully covered. I did get upset and called them again. I asked the desk person to spealk to a manager. He wouldn't send me forward. I got more upset and slightly raised my voice. He proceeded to offer me to "GO OUT BACK". I APOLOGIZED and he still wouldn't let me talk to anyone else. Finally he stated he'd try to get a tech out today. I told him I only wanted a resolution, thank you. Several minutes later they called, company declined my work. I called back. At that point, he finally let me talk to John. John wouldn't give me his last name, silly I know. John didn't wish to consider my frustration or conversation. Declined working for me. They have my warranteed parts. I asked if I could get my warrantied parts to proceed with another company. The desk clerk said, sorry we've already sent them back. THEY SENT THEM BACK IN THE FEW MINUTES OF OUR COVERSATION. That part was probabaly a fib. Nevertheless, now I sit here with no heat or air in 3/5ths of my home. Thanks E&L. Signed, Retired military, disabled veteran. P.S. I think you'd be upset as well.

Called E & L to replace a sewer pump and they came out and the electrician putzed around and concluded that there was no electric to the sewer pump "bad wiring" and stated his volt meter showed no power. This turned out not be true as I called another company and they came in and I did indeed have power and the electrician said that the other election must have had a bad volt meter (he had a cheap Lowe's one like I own). I called the company three times stating that I wasn't going to pay a bill for what boiled down to incompetency. Spoke to the owner and then the financial person Becky who was extremely patronizing to me as a customer. Originally I was told charge would be removed, but i continue to receive past due bills. Called this morning and was treated rudely by Becky who was patronizing toward me (as a customer)!? and didn't understand what I was saying. She said she never got the copy of the bill (lie) from the other electrican company as proof that I did indeed have power thus making the bill E & L sent ludicrious. These people are incompetent , rude and patronizing. They do not communicate with each other properly.

The folks in their sheet metal shop did a great job building a cap for my chimney.Later they were able to make some flashing that I needed for an addition on my roof. The work was excellent and the prices reasonable on both projects.

They were sent out by my home warranty company. They drug their feet severely when it came to getting the information over to the warranty company for repairs to be made. When they finally would get the information there the company would authorize for the work. The technician would eventually come back out then state that didn’t happen to be the problem after all. We would have to go through the waiting period again of waiting on them to get the information over to the warranty company. On the last trip out the technician stated that he couldn’t do anything else for me and I would need to let the company know it need to be replaced. I advised him that his office would need to send that information to the company, not me, so that the company would be able to authorize for the replacement. Now, lo and behold, not only has the information not been sent, they won’t answer my calls they also won’t answer calls or return calls from the warranty company. This is very poor service on their part. Based on the way that I have been done, especially by their technician, I wouldn’t recommend them for anything.
Not to mention that their technician ended up with muddy shoes and instead of cleaning his shoes off, walked right across my white rug.

Thought their prices too high. Plus he caused me to not have water in the bathroom sink he fixed a leak under had to have him come back out & fix that. And I refused to pay for the second visit since he caused the problem. Not happy.Turns. out he didnt do anything wrong so I do apologize for that. I still think their prices are high.

Very pleased with the servicing on my cooler. Steven Young was the tech that came to my shop. Found my problem within 10 minutes. (Have had SEVERAL other people work on it, claiming to have "fixed" the problem. Was not fixed either time!) He was very professional, and attentive to his job. He will be my cooler guy from now on! Thanks Steven! Really appreciate you! Would give him 10 stars if it were possible.

Great service. Prompt. Tried very hard to take as little time as possible to save me money! He was at my home for about 10 minutes and replaced the capacitor. They also helped us about 3 years ago when our freon needed charged. Again great service. Very professional.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
