4 technicians came in the same day. Cleaned my upstairs and downstairs units and ductwork, a bathroom exhaust vent and laundry dryer vent. They were very thorough, including removing the registers, cleaning and reinstalling. I could feel a remarkable improvement in air quality immediately! The technicians were professional, polite, efficient, and left clean work areas. Def worth every penny. Highly recommend these guys!!

Recently I engaged Ductz of Richmond Southside to clean both my dryer and bath exhaust vents. It was a very positive experience and Ductz representative Dave provided an elvauation and consultation prior to the cleaning service. He was polite, friendly and easy to work with and I have signed up for future cleaning services when it becomes time. This is an important service as lint & dust build up can result in house fires if not maintained. The bath exhaust vents surprised me as small birds find their way past the louvers to build nests in the duct. I was looking for a duct cleaning service that concentrated on only duct cleaning and I found it. Ductz is absolutely the most professional and best duct cleaning service that you can get today! To my surprise, Dave H. came all the way from the Richmond are to Yorktown to conduct the initial inspection. During his inspection, he was very professional, friendly, down to earth and very explanatory. He took his time checking the duct-work, the air handlers of both my system thoroughly. Answered all of my questions and some. He explained step by step the entire cleaning process with the caveat - that I would be the only customer for the day with guaranteed white glove service and warranty. So no rush work here.
When the team arrived, they were neat, friendly, respectful of me and my property. And very professional. The team leader explained the process once again and they then, grabbed their equipment and dispersed like fire ants looking for prey. Manned their stations and got to work. So organized. I watched with amusement and confidence. OCD happy! Hadn't seen such teamwork since my Army days. They spent 5 hours in 90+ degree weather diligently working to ensure my systems were free and clear. They also take before and after pictures to show me what was lurking in my system and their quality work. Understand, any type of service you require on your home today will cost you. With that said, knowing your breathing fresh air in your home is by far the best money you will spend today. Especially, with us spending so much time at home since COVID, and if you have any type of upper respiratory problems/allergies. This is my 3rd home and I have never considered having my ducts cleaned until now. Big difference!!! Having a homes ducts cleaned is the last thing a home owner considers doing. It should actually be the first thing done. I highly recommend this company if your seeking professional good quality work for your money (hard to find today) with a concentration on you (white glove service).

We hired this company to clean our air vents. The workers arrived early, did a thorough job and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. Once we read the reviews, we made an appointment to have an estimate done. They listened to our concerns, went through our home, and explained exactly what needed to be done and how they would accomplish that task. Their professionalism from the estimate carried over to our appointment day. They arrived on time and went right to work. They were kind and courteous the whole time they worked on our home. They did their work with a sense of pride and worked very well together as a team. Truly appreciate the fact that they took the time to review the before and after pictures at their home office the next day, while also sending us the same pictures for our own review. From start to finish, I was very pleased with the service rendered by DUCTZ. Dave Hoopsick (Gen Mgr) made the initial visit. Explained their process after a walk-thru of our home. He was quite thorough and provided us with a quote. It was a 2-day job. The technicians arrived as scheduled, set-up and began to work. They were friendly and professional; and answered the several questions I posed to them. Clean-up was completed at the end of each day. As promised, I received over 50 before and after photos of my HVAC system, vents and ducts. The differences were amazing. Not sure of all I was looking at, as they were mostly internal areas a homeowner doesn't routinely see. However, I was quite pleased with the results. My use of DUCTZ was based on a referral from a previous customer. And I am happy to refer them to others. I am a very satisfied customer and highly recommend DUCTZ.

We had a dusky, musky smell that appeared one day while a contractor was at our house installing floors... what was that and where was it coming from. We soon identified a vent in our upstairs den. Ductz was recommended to us, we called them, they came out for a thorough estimate, and then the team arrived and set to cleaning our vents and ducts. The team was very professional, very personable, and very nice. They were on time, and completed in the time estimated. I am impressed by the follow up report I received along with photos of our system. Just purchased a home in Midlothian and we wanted to get the ductwork cleaned because of all the construction dust and debris. DUCTZ was one of the higher prices but you get what you pay for and I didn’t want the job done halfway I wanted it done right and I wanted the company that’s doing the work to take care of and respect my brand new home. The crew from DUCTZ was very professional and extremely careful throughout the process which was much more detailed than I anticipated and now I understand why they charge what they do. They took pictures of everything and after the job emailed us the report so we could see everything before and after. Each picture had a timestamp so that we knew it was a picture of our ductwork and not from some other job they did. Really impressed with this company and the level of detail that the work was done with.

We had condensation on our supply grilles that had started to create mold. I called our trusted residential HVAC provider, Foster's Plumbing & Heating and they verified we should have our ducts cleaned and recommended DUCTZ as as firm they had used and referred numerous times in the past. I met David who did our inspection and estimate - verifying they should be cleaned. He explained their process and when I called to schedule the service they were able to get me on the schedule the following week. Dave & Corrie arrived on time, were very professional, polite, wore masks and shoe booties and did a very good job as evidenced by the before and after photos of our unit, grilles, heating element, blower wheel, returns and branch ducts. I used Ductz to clean the ducts on a house I was flipping with a "cat problem" the crew was awesome to deal with, they were on time, cleaned up after themselves and even followed up with before and after photos. Great work! I would highly recommend to anyone.

I cannot thank the crew from Ductz enough for having come to my home last minute to take a look at my dryer duct. We had JUST installed a new dryer a few minutes before I called to make an appointment with Ductz. As old as our house is, I wasn't sure if the previous owners ever checked the dyer ducts. Something told me to go ahead and call to see if I could set up an appointment, and GOD BLESS ANN for taking my call and hearing about my concern prior to firing up the new dryer. She was as kind as could be, and was able to schedule me into their system for someone to come THAT SAME DAY!! Watching them do their work, and see all the crud that has been piled in there from the few years my family has been in the house, AND quite possibly from the previous owners tas well, makes me realize how lucky my family hadn't suffered from a dryer fire. The Ductz representative was able to travel the day after the 4th of July to do an estimate for cleaning my home's ducts and dryer vent. During the service, the Ductz crew were extremely polite, very professional, and performed their cleaning in a very methodical way to ensure the whole system was thoroughly cleaned. The crew recommended removing and discarding the existing metal filters and replace them with disposable ones because the metal filters were dirty and would retain the cigarette smoke smell. I purchased the disposable filters while the crew was still working and they installed them. The office staff was also extremely helpful especially when I needed to contact the crew while at the store to verify that I had purchased the correct filters. The crew took before and after photos of cleaning the ducts and dryer vent and those were provided to me in an email. These photos showed just how dirty the system was and how clean it is now. I highly recommend this company.
